Georgia Restaurant in Prague is truly one of the highlights of this beautiful city…read more The food is absolutely delicious. As soon as you open the menu, your eyes start wandering because you want to try everything. The atmosphere is extraordinary--it feels as if you've walked into the home of your best friends. My wife and I travel a lot, and nowhere else have we ever been told, "Don't order too much, our portions are very large!" That says a lot about this place. They are not focused on selling you more food; they genuinely want you to enjoy the meal, the atmosphere, and the entire experience--and, of course, to come back again. A special thank you to our waitress, Daria. She has amazing energy, sincere friendliness, and a warmth that makes you feel as if you've known this beautiful young woman your whole life. Thank you very much for a wonderful evening. Stan USA
December 29/2024: Dinner with my Al…read more This was deeply disappointing. We came here with such high hopes. The aroma from the restaurant was intoxicating! The ambiance was superb. They even had a live singer who was excellent! This all crumbled when the food began to arrive. It was next to tasteless. The appetizers ($235.00 CZK $14.50 CDN) was bland & virtually without taste at all. Our server Julia was quick enough to recognize that we weren't enjoying the food & graciously swapped out our appetizer but the replacement was just as bad. In her defence, she did make a partial deduction from the bill. My main was the Chicken/mushroom/potato dish ($415.00 CZK or $27.00 Cdn) It was ok but only had a total of 4 pieces of WAY over cooked chicken and about 2/3 was potatoes. I can say with confidence that after eating at HUNDREDS of restaurants, this was at the bottom for flavour. It's a not-do from my side.

I was a bit surprised by the bread (much thicker than the pita I'm used to) but it really soaked up the spicy and garlic sauce I had for my sandwich. Even though language was a very tiny barrier, I got exactly what I wanted at a very reasonable price. In total, my whole meal cost around 25 USD. I could not finish at all so that has to say something! FOOD: the menu was very easy to understand and the food was delicious. I ordered a plate with chicken and beef combo over french fries with a side salad. It all comes together in one to go box and was very plentiful. The fries were one of the best french fries I've ever had and the meat was shaved a lot like gyro meat. So good and tasty. The side of rice that I also bought was much more plentiful than I realized and tasted great. The baklava was a little bit mushy at the bottom so that was a hit or miss. It still tasted good, but I'm used to having more of that phillo dough crunch. SERVICE: i'd have to say service was really good. I did have a small communication issue, but they did a great job getting me exactly what I wanted and the portions were very plentiful and it was packaged very nicely. I really have nothing to complain about it all. COST: very very reasonable! For what you receive it was a bargain and because it was so tasty, I highly recommend this place. It is obviously not food native to the Czech Republic but if you want a tasty meal with plentiful portions, then you really can't go wrong.
Look at all the salad and toppings!

Saw the bras hanging as we walked in, made me chuckle. We were seated right away, in a small room with a fair amount going on. I picked the Jim Morrison along with the fries and lovely K had the Janis Joplin, also with fries. Both choices were a very good sized portion with a good amount of fries. The JM stated it's spicy, and it was indeed so. The JJ is also a good sized portion, but it had too much going on for K. What really let the meal down was the fries. They were not hot, and had been cooked too long. The outside was crispy with a good crunch, but the interior was not what we were looking for. Could have been epic with nice fries, but they missed the mark by just a bit.
I wonder if they ever wash the bras?
