Eurotrash place. Extremely overpriced and bad food. Bad service. Ordered a bottle of Prosecco and the waiter did not pick up the glass, and just turned over the bottle so most of it was wasted. Ours, Finally reopened, 264 Brompton has been a London landmark for decades. Now there's a living wall feature real trees, lots of space to fill with a private space and lounge bar overseeing the dinning area. Greeting was efficient yet friendly & warm, we had drinks upstairs to start, ideal for afterwork debriefing session. We tried two Wild clover & gougères + olives snacks. It all came quiet fast and it was delicious. We were then shown to our table where we met our waitress, Ana Maria, she designed a menu for us because "it's all about sharing at Ours" and we could tell she knew her stuff. We had crudité, sea bass confit, oysters mignonette, tuna rice cracker, leaves & rye, ratatouille, salmon 50/50, monkfish, aged rib and and and the almighty donut & peach soufflé. My boyfriend surprised me with dinner here for my birthday and we had an amazing time. I knew I had to write a review for Restaurant Ours as we were leaving and I'm shocked by its current rating on Yelp as I'm writing my review! The restaurant interior is gorgeous, from the passage leading you to the restaurant, to the bar and dining areas, and to the bathrooms. They incorporated nature into the restaurant to create a unique dining space. There's a few trees that stand beautifully in the center of the restaurant littered with fairy lights under some sky windows. We sat in the dining area downstairs but there's also a second floor with some couches for bigger groups and more casual space. Later at night, there was a live singer that performed for the restaurant. She was very talented and an absolute head turner. The menu here featured a variety of western small plates. It was recommended that each person ordered 4 to 5 items. My boyfriend and I ordered eight items together and we were stuffed! Everything was extremely flavorful and delicious. My favorites were the foie gras mousse brioche, tiger prawns, scallops and mushrooms on sourdough. The service here was also impeccable. My boyfriend and I took a while to decide what to order but our server was really patient with us. He was also really helpful and attentive throughout the night. Overall, my boyfriend and I really enjoyed our dinner here. It's pricey but the experience is worth it for a special occasion. read more

Seriously the worst restaurant in the whole world. I'm not even talking about the food. The food was good but the service made the whole experience so bad. Not to mention it was for my birthday dinner. You could tell all this restaurant wanted was my money and because they knew I was not rich they treated me and my friends like complete shit. We did a La cart for our meals and they were so mad at us for not doing the 3 courses which was way more expensive. Manager was rolling her eyes at us looking us up and down treating us like presents. They knew it was my birthday as well and made the whole experience so un special. If you want to have a good time do not go here. If your rich and are wanting to spend $1,000 on dinner this is the place for you and you will get treated right. So horrible. read more

Very nice decor and vibe. Service was slow until one of the managers came to our service. Very decent drinks. But when we ordered bar snacks it really went down hill. "Iberico ham" croquettes came with absolutely no ham. The Shrimp toast was soggy and cold. The calamari was one of the worst I've had. The Chef should be ashamed. read more

We were pleasantly surprised. Went for lunch and everybody was very friendly. The decor is very cute, although it can be annoying to get past everybody that wants to take pictures in front of the flower walls. The fish butty was good, but the scallops were a bit of a joke. Two normal sized scallops for £18. Let's just take the word "gigantic" off the menu and set the right expectations. read more

Really run atmosphere it's very loud and trendy. You get that nightclub experience without having to go to a nightclub. All and all the food was disappointing, weird menu combination and I was extremely confused on why the restaurant switches to a late night menu in their final hour. I ordered about 6 dishes and the best one were the corn salad and edamame, the others were noticeably lacking: oyster mushrooms, yakatori. The dishes are very small and very expensive had to order more food after my first round. Also the drink menu was lacking so much that I just created a drink on my own. I would say good restaurant for... I'm not sure I think they should revamp the menu or turn it into a night club. read more

Went for dinner around 7 on a Wednesday. It was pretty empty, which we didn't mind because you can see all the beautiful decor and get your pics in- all for the gram! Service was a little slow considering it wasn't busy. The real disappointment was the food. We could get over the very tiny portions, even though highly priced, had they been cooked well enough! We ordered a large variety of food to try everything and then planned to get more of what we liked... it was really sad that none of us wanted any of it. Not even the dessert was yummy! Wth? What a terrible restaurant. Over priced food, cocktail list was horrible, and service was made in hell. The waitress was literally whispering so quietly (in such a loud restaurant with bumping music) that no one at our table EVER heard a thing she said. When we asked to clarify she gave us weird/ racist looks implying we did not understand her.... well clearly there was a reason for that. The security manning the doors are also 1/10. They are racist and yelled at me for taking photos (i am asian) at the entrance. Then they moved on to take photos of some white girls in the exact same spot. Dont come here. Not what restaurants in Chelsea should be like. read more

Poor. Despite hearing good things, this venue was very dissappointing. The venue looked good but unfortunately, looks weren't good enough to make up for the food and drink. We sat in the upstairs bar area, the G&T was decent but we ordered some "snacks". The "Iberico ham" croquettes aka fried cheese balls with no ham literally and just tasting of greasy cheese. Really a joke. The salt and pepper squid, average but looked like something you'd find in a pub, unimpressive. The shrimp toastie - cold. Based on our selection of 3 snacks, all being bad, especially the ham-less croquettes, i will never eat anything else at this venue. Terrible. Ordered another round of drinks but 20 minutes later, nothing arrived. So it was clear it was time to call it a night and go to a bar around the corner instead. Despite the food being bad and the drinks taking forever, the manager did apologize, he was on top of his game. Overall, decent decent decor, poor food, ok drinks if they come, service - none. I went to 'Ours' with a group of friends for a late dinner last week, the ambience was great - I loved the real tree and the open space. We had drinks upstairs to start, the staff are very welcoming yet efficient. Our waitress knew the menu very well and advised us to get lots of plates to share between us. The food came fast and the service was on point. I would definitely recommend the fried oysters and sea bass confit! Although I am a massive sea food fan, however all the platters were exceptional I will definitely be going back soon. read more

My boyfriend made a reservation here because of a recommendation from a colleague, and before dining I viewed the other yelp reviews and was a little worried ... after my wonderful experience here I vowed to share it here. First of all the ambiance is gorgeous. There is a beautifully lit, tunnel-like, very "instagram-able" entrance way. Inside the restaurant are preserved trees that look like they are growing out from the ground, adorned with lights. I cannot get over how gorgeous this restaurant is. The food was very good and creative, but the service was even better. Our waitress was kind and attentive, and the sommelier brought over three wines for my bf to taste and choose from when he just wanted one glass. We had such a special night and I am going to save it to bring my girlfriends to when they visit from NYC. Can't wait to come back again. read more

Terrible. We wanted somewhere quiet. We found it. No one in the restaurant at lunch. Bad sign. Stuffed up bottled water order. We asked for sparkling. We got still. Tried to order Virgin Mary. Was told no bar staff available to make one so had to settle for spicy tomato juice. waitress couldn't understand English. Ordered salad and steak and side of chips. Was told steak rare steak would take 30 minutes and so waitress suggested crudités. Crudités came with dry ice. Was ok but very gimmicky and what u find in china town. Crudités too small. Steak was ready and sat while waitress served another customer. Then waitress asked where salad was. Despite the restaurant being 5% capacity they forgot salad and had to make it. It was missing half the ingredients. Chips were dried and tasteless. Service slow. Looked like chef reading his phone whole time. Avoid. read more
