My sweet husband was kind to bring home the Extra sharp Mac & Cheese for me. I'm on diet restrictions and it wasn't heavily seasoned like others. Friday is homemade pizza night for us. So after a few bites I decided to make Mac & Cheese pizza with it, sprinkled some cheddar cheese (why not? We love cheese!) and julienned some fresh picked basil on top of Sourdough pizza dough. It was a Major hit and is moved into our pizza rotation! The Mac & Cheese is vegetarian, I didn't detect the usual saltiness as I do when eating out! This place is on the corner of the big building and the restaurant sign is not that outstanding. There are plenty of parking spots in the front. It looks like a father&son own business. They are friendly but they need to separate the line for walk-in and order pickup to avoid confusion. We got cheddar jalapeño sausage, Bacon&Onion Smoked Beans, 1lb of brisket, and dry rubbed whole rack of pork ribs. Cheese jalapeno sausage and brisket were pretty good. Bacon&Onion Smoked Beans were a bit on sweet side but mixed well with meat dishes. I was really disappointing about the ribs. They were bland and the flavor was not there. The reason is definitely because they only put the dry rub on the ribs when we picked them up. The meat was a bit hard and a lot of fatty parts. I really wish they marinated the ribs longer than that. There are 2 types of pork ribs, the bbq sauce and the dry rubbed. I would try and go back for one more time to try the bbq sauce ones and see if they would taste better. read more

We ordered online for pick up, and when we went to the store for pick up, we commented on how great the pickles looked in one of their pictures in store. Stopped at this place along the side of the highway after hiking nearby. They have a huge smoker by the parking lot and the BBQ is done to perfection. I tried the brisket and pulled pork. You also can't go wrong with a side of slaw and Mac and cheese. read more

One of the best, most tender briskets, I have ever eaten. The pineapple slaw was a nice surprise. The owner made us feel welcome and came by and talked with us about his business journey. Absolutely great bbq, and sides. I was first introduced to them 2 years ago, at my employer's open house. Everyone thought it was great, we had roughly 3000 people attend the open house, great job guys. Besides the bbq, they also have great side, such as mac and cheese, and pickled onions. We recently had Restoration BBQ cater a party for 30 people for a 50th anniversary party. Todd and his crew were a pleasure to work with. Food arrived at our house hot and a few minutes earlier than scheduled. The Ribs and the Beef and Turkey Brisket were outstanding, as were the blueberry and maple corn breads, coleslaw, and corn buns. Lots of food that lasted for two meals for the partygoers and another five meals for us after the crowd left. This is some of the best bbq I have had in a while! Brisket is nice with just salt and pepper instead of a heavy rub. Smoked turkey the same. Very clean taste and absolutely delicious. The meats really shine here! The jalapeño cheddar smoked sausage is bomb! Mac and cheese is homemade and out of this world. The owners and counter help are super friendly and welcoming. Tried 2 years ago and thought the brisket was too fatty & they were extremely over priced. Tried again last weekend and still not impressed. The mac & cheese had an unfamiliar taste (caraway) and was mushy. The pork sandwich pieces were so big, it was hard to eat on a sandwich and was very dry. I am originally from Tennessee but now call Vermont my home. It's not that all bbq here is bad, there's just not much of it that's good or "authentic." I saw the trailer for restoration bbq (right now they're only open on Saturday) and I pulled in and got two brisket sandwiches. I've been every Saturday since!
