Bueno burrito is similar to a chipotle, but with more options, faster service, fresher food, and better prices. Everyone that works here is so nice and friendly. CA in the mid-80s, where hippy girls would serve me a big-ass burrito. At that time you couldn't get large tortillas on the east coast, so it was special for a boy from upstate NY. I had the Killington Veranda burrito. My son had a build-your-own burrito. Chips and salsa or queso are extra. Plenty of bottled drink options. Food is to-go or eat-in. I counted at least six tables of four, though there may have been more. We ate in. Plenty of tables were available. The room is bright, spacious, colorful and clean. Staff were very friendly. Burrito no Bueno. The staff was pleasant. I ordered a build your own burrito bowl and it was all visually appetizing but at taste, it was EXTREMELY bland. They do offer a variety of salsas which I did not use because I don't eat salsas but I'm also a firm believer that something can be healthy and flavorful without having to drown it in sauce or in this case salsa. Also a good heads up at the time of posting if you choose steak as your protein you'll pay an additional 1.50 for a very small amount in comparison to other burrito kitchens. If you want guacamole, you'll pay an additional 1.00 and if you want feta cheese you'll pay an additional .50 and if you want cheese sauce, you'll pay an 1.50. If you're unaware, a 8.99 burrito/bowl can add up. Defiantly not a place to go if you're looking for an authentic flavor. read more

Liked this place until I had to argue for the combo deal that is clearly posted as you walk in. Still decided to charge me extra even though I got beans rice and tofu on a burrito for $15. Then tried to charge even more for a little salsa. Sucks to see this place going right into the ground. Ridiculous, will not be back. So much for supporting local, they don't make it pleasant or very possible. Had to listen to the big guy complaining about customers getting large salads, like why do you offer them if it's an issue? Bland is an understatement! Threw half of my burrito away because it was so wet from tomato juice. I asked if they had shredded chicken and they said no- suggested shredded beef but didn't mention it would cost more. I asked for cheese and he literally put 2 tablespoons on there. I asked for more and he put maybe a pinch more. Once he loaded it with mushy rice he passed on to his partner to finish. I asked for more cheese and the first guy pipes in to charge me more money. When I checked out it was over $11, so he charged me for the steak plus extra cheese- calling it feta when it is clearly cheddar. Burrito was ice cold when I got back to my office- 1 block away, so i had to microwave it. I took one bite and my initial thought was- ugh, yuck, mushy bland grossness! I will never return. Thankfully Chipotle is coming. I wish I could support local, but my 3rd grader could do better! read more

I'm currently giving Bueno 4 stars. Service has been great every time I've gone. I must say, the food is alright-I think there's a seriously lack of flavor in the meat and I wish it was definitely more authentic (I'd typically not subtract points for this considering the location, however the owner is from the southwest and should know this isn't authentic at all). Rutland lacks Mexican style restaurants, and this is the closest you'll get. I think the price is reasonable for what you get- fresh ingredients that are apparently locally sourced in a decent sized meal. I've seen the burritos in this place and they are huge. I'm keto, so I can't eat the carby ingredients, so the build your own bowl is perfect for others with particular diets or conditions. read more

Place went down the toilet. Extremely expensive over $20.00 for the tacos which are 3 pretty much empty tortillas. They act as if they need to ration the food. I tried the chicken dry oh so dry. You have to get 3 tacos at time I asked can I only order two, can't eat 3 despite it being majority taco shell but told still have to charge me for full order. Also was not ready for the cheapness of the owner orders to make fillings nill.So for $20.00+ 4 tiny pieces of meat(steak)due to the dry chicken onions & lettuce plus the over charge for guacamole which the girl forgot to put on plus forgetting the sour cream EVEN THOUGHT I CONFIRMED WITH HER SINCE I DIDN'T SEE HER PUT THEM ON. SHE CONFIRMED BACK SAYING YES!!!! So I have 3 shells with lettuce & onions& 3 pieces of steak in each. For an upcharge to put 3 pieces on a taco ..taco bell level food here. I was told e-mail owner, for his employees ineptness I don't thi k so. I don't exactly live close I was already inconvenienced & over charged. You can't even see the cheese for there's so little.
