I'm not someone who regularly works out and I'm not even someone who likes the heat but I knew the infrared would be good for my tired muscles. Somehow, the infrared sauna makes it easier to move. And strangely, even though you're sweating, you feel so much cleaner afterward because your pores have just released everything! Make sure to drink lots of water so you don't pass out but I highly recommend this particular location. Everyone is so friendly but if you want to work out in private, like I did, the app is so useful in being able to see if anyone else is in the sauna you would like to book. There are even fun monthly challenges on little pamphlets you can fill out to help keep you motivated and going in on a regular basis. I really like that it's not weight oriented and more just about getting your body moving.

When notifying the front desk, they took my name and phone number and said they would reach out. No one contacted me. On Monday, 11/24, I found out the front desk staff had misplaced my information over the weekend. They asked for it again and I provided my email, specifying that I'd prefer to be contacted via email instead of phone. I specifically told them that I would be at work all day and would not be able to answer a phone call. I watched the front desk agent circle my email and write "best contact" with my own eyes. Later that Monday, I received a call from another representative, who had to leave a voicemail because I was busy at work. Their voicemail essentially told me to check lost and found. No mention of my jacket being stolen or a crime having been committed. Given the lax response from the gym, I decided to file a police report. I completed the process online and was notified shortly after that the case had been accepted. I was given a case number. On Tuesday, I once again notified the front desk staff that I would prefer to be contacted by email. I specified that someone did call, but that I was unable to answer because I'm working. I also notified them that I filed a police report, and emphasized that any correspondence between us would now need to be written. I also reiterated that I know a crime occurred because it was a small window of time (6am-7am) and that my jacket had a broken zipper on one pocket, meaning whoever took it knows it does not belong to them. I am irked by the way the gym responded to this. I am also disappointed in their poor performance when first reporting this crime. This gym charges $115 monthly with a $175 annual fee. You're better off going elsewhere for far less money. I have been going to much better gyms since I was in high school and I've never had something stolen from me. I added a picture of a row of broken ellipticals. This is typical for this gym despite the amount of money it charges its members. There are also broken pieces of exposed, sharp wood in the men's sauna that ownership refuses to properly repair. Buyer beware.

I felt reassured right away that I was at the right place with the right people. The professional, thorough, comprehensive evaluation process at FitLab alleviated my initial fear of the unknown. On my very first day of training I met with Brandt, his positive, upbeat, non-judgmental demeanor quickly eased my feelings of apprehension and embarrassment. I received this evaluation with the InBody scale that delivers highly precise and ultra-accurate results. WOW, this InBody machine gives you so much information about what your body is actually composed of currently. This was an eye-opening experience for me by seeing these numbers and what I must work on. I was able to see where I need the most help and not just step on the scale to measure my weight. Then Brandt sat down, went over the results thoroughly, and explained everything to me in detail. Brandt developed a training program specifically to my goals. He made me believe I was not as bad off as I thought and I was very capable of achieving my health and fitness goals, which inspired me to want to come back and without hesitation I signed up for a year personal training. Brandt is always prompt to our sessions twice a week, is always prepared and does a great job of "mixing up" sessions.
