4/5 - Great First Experience With One Important Concern…read more This was my first time visiting Spa Castle, and I'm happy to say they did not disappoint. There are multiple pools and saunas, each with different temperatures and benefits to explore. Whether you want to detox, relax, or simply enjoy the water, there's plenty to choose from. You can also book add-on services like massages or scrubs for a more personalized experience. There are plenty of areas to relax, both indoors and outdoors, and while children are allowed, we thankfully didn't have many around us during our visit, so it still felt peaceful and serene. The locker room and bathhouse areas are fully nude, which is something I chose not to experience due to personal preference. However, one thing I did feel strongly about as a parent of girls was the fact that children are also allowed to walk around nude in these areas. While I understand this is part of the cultural setup for some spas, I believe Spa Castle should consider a policy that prohibits nudity for minors. Unfortunately, pedophiles don't have a "look," and some parents can be completely unaware of their surroundings. For the sake of child safety, I'd strongly recommend the spa reevaluate this policy and put something in place to protect the kids. Aside from that, I had a great experience overall and can't wait to return to see what the upcoming renovations look like. This place has a ton of potential and offers a unique, refreshing escape from the day-to-day.

Cool, calm lobby with tinted windows, waters ready after your treatment, and even kombucha for purchase. Wes, the Director of Operations, got me booked fast and walked me straight to the Red Light Contour Pod. Private room, spa-level robe, and more towels and wipes than I could ever need. The treatment itself was wildly effective. The pod gently shakes and warms your body while the red light works its magic on your skin. I was sweating without even realizing it, and my muscle tension melted away. I had a pulled muscle from playing guitar last week, and this thing worked it out better than anything else I've tried. I left feeling relaxed, lighter, limber, and honestly like I snuck in a workout without ever stepping foot in a gym. They have packages for every budget, the team is welcoming, and they genuinely care about accessibility and your comfort. This was such a luxurious thirty minutes in the middle of a chaotic week. I'm already planning my next visit.

Scheduling my appointment was easy and the employee told me what i needed to prep. The location is amazing! It's in the highly popular mockingbird station! It took me a minute to realize that there is a second floor, so i couldn't find it at first. Upon arrival we filled out a waiver and got a tour. The host was informative, nice, and inviting! She was great! I loved that they posted about their rigorous cleaning methods and that i actually saw it in person. We were the last ones for the day, so all of the cleaning supplies was out and they were cleaning everything! I love that so much! It made me feel comfortable that they keep up their cleaning standards! The sauna- we were given a cabin which is a room that you sit in for the experience. We were told we could listen to music as loud as we want since the cabins are soundproof. They had a TV for people to log into their nextflix to watch something while they sit. They provided us with towels, water bottles, and back rest. The host showed us the perks of the actual sauna- chromotherapy which allowed us to pick the color we wanted, the back lights just in case we wanted to read a book, and educated up on how to change the temperature. The experience-our sauna was set to 145 degrees, which was too high. Since I'm not used to it, i kept having to come out of the cabin to get into the cool air, when maybe i could have just lowered the temperature. It was a bit hard to sit through it, there was a point i was counting down the seconds for it to end. At the end of 45 minutes i was glowing, glistening, feeling refreshed. I did have a slight headache. They have a beauty bar in the back with cute goodies to use and to help get back to the real world . My overall experience was awesome! It gave me 45 minutes to just relax, meditate, not think about the million things i have to do in the day. It should help me with my skin. I will come back when i have stress and need time to myself, for sure

Don't drop the equipment or use Super heavy weights because one of the Staff members will ask you to not disturb the spa next-door. The music sounds depressing and it's played through an intercom system. But it's the only full gym on the side of town. It closes a little too early. You are sharing with Hotel guest. That may not know what they're doing. So I only maybe recommend it. The few positives include: You can probably find the equipment you're looking for. It's not overly crowded, unless there's a convention of annoying people in town like yesterday. They keep it clean. Generally, I feel it's overpriced for the value. But again, it's the only one on the side of town So get a tour and figure out if it's for you.

It took me about a month to get enough response back from the manager to join. Once I joined I emailed several logistical follow up questions and have never received a response. As far as I know there is no email newsletter or online schedules. I went to one class so far and there was no one attending, I arrived right at the class time and the teacher was packing up because no one was there. Like I said, from an equipment standpoint, there is everything you need, it is not the top of the line, but everything seems pretty well-maintained and in working order. Access to the hotel pools is also a plus. But it does not feel friendly at all, you are kind of left alone to figure things out. I came from very communal gym membership environments so it is quite a change.

For a year. Of all industries to provide kind, warm, compassionate service during conflict, you'd think a therapy provider would be top notch. However, when emailed to discuss the issue, Page Swanson became extremely unprofessional, hostile and made things very personal which was extremely triggering considering, again, she is a therapist. Page also discussed PIH with people outside the practice, and harassed me while refusing to refund me (claiming the clinic did not have the cash flow to reimburse me). All of these things occurred via email and her leaving me multiple voice messages so there was endless proof, otherwise, the gaslighting would have succeeded. There are tons of therapists in DFW. I highly recommend finding someone who is professional and client focused.
