They were more than willing to aid me with the documentation that I needed to start that process. Labs, consult/followups, meds...all of it is OUT OF POCKET. I based my decision to see Dr Rand because of my research. His affect is very professional and down to earth. It tends to be more expensive than its competitors in the space and while I appreciate how friendly their stuff is in general, the cost value analysis leads me to the conclusion that this might not be worth the money as other establishments, including Equinox offers the same services at a lower cost.

I didn't get anything comped/discounted for my discomfort or a sincere apology. The whole place seems out of it. I don't understand how a place that offers mainly IVs has a nurse who has trouble administering it. Two times .. ok.. but 4 times and a different arm... come on...

However, I am assessing my experience with Osteo based on the program's outcomes and efficiency. OUTCOME: No positive change to my bone density over a 3-year period of consistent weekly visits. 1. Regrettably, I have not observed any positive changes in my bone density. In fact, prior to starting monthly Prolia shots, I experienced a steep decline in my bone density for two years at Osteostrong. 2. There is a lack of credible research supporting the effectiveness of a 7-8 minute set of exercises in increasing bone density. Many experts have questioned the scientific methods used in the Osteo-supported research materials. EFFICIENCY: No efficient way to work with Osteo as they change and/or reduce hours from the stated times on the webpage. 3. I live 35 minutes from the Brentwood Location, so the "7-8 minute session" requires me to strategically plan my day around their availability. Previously, I was able to incorporate a session into my regular chores, but since appointments now require a day's notice, this has become increasingly challenging. 4. The web page incorrectly indicates that they are open until 5 pm on Weekdays, but the Osteostrong in Brentwood closes "when there are no appointments" --- Last Friday, it closed at 3 pm. I sent multiple emails asking for basic information about the vitamin content of the infusions--not proprietary formulas, just what was being put into my body--and never received a response. The nurses also seemed unable to answer even basic questions about the products being administered. My biggest concern is what happened to my mother. During an IV treatment, The IV appeared to have been placed in an inappropriate location hitting her NERVE rather than a normal vein site she repeatedly complained of severe pain, yet her concerns were not taken seriously. Instead of immediately stopping and reassessing the IV placement, the procedure continued. She returned home unable to properly move her arm and remained in pain for over a week.
