The window replacement went smoothly and they assessed the situation and noted there was thankfully no other mold or rot below the old window. But they also made sure to spray some insulation of sort (if I'm remembering right) or some type of protectant to ensure nothing happened in the future. What a delightful surprise when two men showed up...on time...and did the job in record time. They were quiet meaning, he laid the tools down instead of dropping them in the work bucket. He laid the tools on the floor instead of the near-by furniture. Yes, I've been around some construction events and this is important. He was not going in and out like many do. From no communication to miscommunication, wrong items and wrong colors being ordered, missing start and finish dates, and leaving things unfinished. Hail happened in May, talked with company in June, didn't side house until January, and the project still isn't complete and it's almost March. Siding crew was great, Craig was great, and Scott was great.

Disappointed; needed roof looked at to address a leak. They responded quickly but didn't address…read morethe leak, only talked about existing hail damage(nowhere near the leak)and the need to replace the roof. Three other companies came to look, not one suggested the need to replace the roof, all were focused solely on source of leak. It wouldn't have been so bad if more options were given other than a full replacement of a roof 10 years old. He left without giving any sort of estimate regarding the replacement, I let it be known that we would be getting other opinions so I am not sure how I would been able to make an informed decision without something in writing. He also wouldn't leave me his business card when I asked for one; the entire interaction seemed off. To me, it seems like he must work exclusively by commission since he immediately only offered one, very expensive solution.

Asked for an estimate for putting a gable vent. Jamie came out and said there wasn't enough air…read morevents and suggested to call an insulation person. I got an insulation person out and he said there was plenty of venting available for a fan. Then a large estimate came and it also said I had to get an Electrical permit. After learning how to get a permit and paying $25.01 for it I send multiple texts to Jamie and waited for a response. I finally had to email him to get a response. The last email he changed his mind! He suggested "I recommend having a mechanical company--whoever did your furnace and AC--take a look to see if they have a better solution" I thought the customer was right when asking for something I've done before that I know works. If he didn't want to do the job, he should have told me a lot sooner! No very happy with this company.

We had some damage to our metal siding after we had some work done by a landscaping company. All…read moreCraft Exteriors was working on a neighbors house, so we decided to give them a call to see if they could send someone by to give us an estimate to repair the damage. Chad came by soon after and took at look at the situation, promising to get us an estimate by the next day. (He also noticed some of our gutters needed a couple of extra screws, and he just fixed that for us while he was here. Thanks!) We got the estimate as promised and were surprised that it was not as much as we feared it might be. Chad told us that it might be up to 30 days before they could know what day they could come by to do the work, but they called just a couple of days later and it was completed the following day by Jesse and Jared. They did a great job! (That included retrieving the pieces of the replacement siding we had stored in the rafters of our garage (Jenga-style). We will probably need a window replaced sometime in the next year or two and we already know who we will call. Recommend!
