Clarification on this review.. This is not about their abilities maybe as therapists so.. It's only…read moreabout their marketing I guess... Got invited to a "workshop" about Rotator cuff issues/shoulder issues. So I signed up and attended. What an absolute waste of time. Yes only two people showed up but I got the impression we were going to dig into shoulder issues, contributing issues, talk about alternative therapies, maybe talk about some exercises etc. . Nope turned out to be basically "hey this is what we do as naturopaths or chiroprators, sports therapy ... Maybe if more people showed up would have been more of a discussion and less of a fishing expedition on their side.. but was done in less than 15 minutes... so not a lot of waste of time but will be hard pressed to consider them for that alone. I should have guessed so shame on me but they were attentive in their follow up about being there.. just had nothing to say...

Now for the DR- what a great individual who really listens to your conditions and pains. Every time I am in Dr Jayson gives me the time and energy to help me from all the overworking and excessive exercising I do to my body. He really listens and puts time in with clients which is rare. You are not just a 10 minute number. In addition to the great care, I feel Dr Jayson is very knowledgeable in sports, exercise and the chiro or Rock tape care an athlete would need. I am an exercise physiologist and not many DR's seem to have the knowledge I do about movement problems (sorry for the horn tooting). So to finally find a sports Dr who knows what I mean by 50 burpees is key to my recoveries and continued care. I have some very unique issues and have not received spot on care like this from other practicing folks. From Chiropractic care, Rock Tape scrapping and cupping, to taping and referrals to great massage practitioners, this facility and more importantly this DR should be a key part of your wellness routine.

I was cared for by HoChin An for physical therapy Nov.-Mar. 2025-26…read more It was lights out good and I believe anyone who he works with will do really well and not regret it. On my initial visit, HoChin listened carefully to my explanation of my injury and why I was there for support and then he did more. I think I can sum up the extent of his greatness with a short anecdote from our first meeting. HoChin reviews my intake form and notices that I stated I like cats and doing cool outdoor projects. He asks me how many cats I have. I tell him, I have way too many cats, 5. He states, so you have quite a few litter boxes then, which means you are bending over a lot to clean them? Throughout our 4 months he treated me for two injuries and one chronic concern with that amount of insight and consideration. He focused on making sure I knew what was going on with my entire body and not just the injured components so I could build strength in a sustainable manner to keep doing the things I love (not cleaning a litter box!). When we got to a place where weekly visits were not necessary, we stopped but my access to the variety of tools and exercises I was given remained. I've been to 3 PT clinics in the Lynnwood area and a dozen throughout my lifetime. Too many times I was treated with generic advice that looked solely at my present injury and given an upcharge for ultrasound treatment or 5 minute PT massage that didn't do anything. HoChin cut out the BS and treated all of me all while having fun. I don't want to get injured again but I will and when I do, I'm going to Impact and HoChin.

I have been a patient at Hands For Living for 2 years now with multiple surgeries to my hand. All the staff have been incredibly compassionate, professional, timely and friendly. Although each staff has been excellent in my treatment, my favorite caregiver has been Vanessa. She is engaging and lively and competent. Thank you again Vanessa for your guidance in my healing. The clinic is clean and spacious. They interface with my hand surgeon for any updates to my treatment. They also speak Spanish for those clients who do. I wish I could give them 10 stars! Highly recommended!

I have a…read moreneurological disorder that leaves the muscles in my hands weak, and I have a tremor that makes fine-motor work difficult. The person who answered the phone didn't know if they worked with hand tremors or neurological disabilities involving the hands. No problem. I don't expect everyone at a job to know everything, especially in the medical field. The problem was her attitude. She sounded almost surprised that I was asking the question. She acted blown away that someone would call into an occupational therapist's office that focused on hands with a HAND-focused nerve problem. She almost sounded disgusted. When I asked if she had any recommendations for other clinics, all she would tell me is that "I wouldn't even know where to begin to figure that out." Then she wished me a good day and hung up. For a medical clinic that treats people with debilitating medical conditions, the lack of sensitivity when communicating with a potential client was astounding. It's hard enough to find compassion in the medical field, particularly as a woman, but the least they could do is have a little more tact.
