"But," he offered, "you can use the $180 toward the purchase of a new model." Instead of doing that, I watched a single youtube video about fridge repair, then bent down to look for the part of the fridge that was making the obviously broken-sounding high pitched whine, then googled its part number and bought a new one for $45. That fixed it, instantly. I didn't even need a screw driver. So their business model, it seems, is to half-ass the repair in order to lock you in, and then they sell you a new one for much more money than you'd pay elsewhere. Wouldn't be surprised if they then refurbish your old one and sell it on the side.

We went here during the summer and were met by Kellie. She is one of the most knowledgeable people when it comes to appliances, and "service" seems to be her middle name. She quickly pointed out the models that would fit and we completed the sale. Throughout this process she never hid the fact that there would be delays on the manufacturers end due to COVID and the limited staff at the factories. When the Refrigerator was still pending shipment in August, during the tax-free weekend she easily redid the order for us to save us the nearly $100.00 in sales tax, while keeping our order in it's original place in line. These are the types of things she and her company can do that I think would be much more difficult to accomplish at the big box stores. I thoroughly checked their prices against others, including Costco, and they are more than competitive with any other retailer, including the big box stores, so I am more than comfortable ordering my appliances from here. I was told that they had to come to measure so fine. They did and someone was supposed to contact me within 2-3 business days. They did not so I reached out and finally contacted Joan Gomes. She spent a great deal of time 'trying to find' the right doors and offered me a $1000 door or for $372 or so I thought a mismatched pair of doors. When I said I was willing to consider the mismatched set all of sudden she is quoting me over $1000 for installation and the doors. When I ask for my $40 back because they don't have what I want I am told my fee is non-refundable. Well, if you don't have the product I told you in the first place that I wanted then I should get my money back! She was deceitful writing in her email to me that she was closing the case because of the cost. She didn't have the doors to fit my closet. Update: I am amending my review because after posting, I was contacted and Home Depot researched my situation and refunded the $40 fee. I appreciate very much their doing the right thing.
