I had a 23 year old wall unit that was on its last legs. Jerry wanted pictures of the unit, model and make, the receptacle and plug configuration, and the exact measurements of the existing unit. The price was extremely fair and the recommendations were spot on. The carpenter Colm and his helper Mauricio were on time, professional, efficient, and left the work area in immaculate condition. If you're tired of the customary run around, do yourself a big favor. Call these guys. You will not be disappointed. Oh, I almost forgot. He sent rebate forms for $220 on the Friedrich unit and a $40 rebate from MassSave. You just can't beat that.

They know what they're doing, and they do it exceedingly well. At first I thought I'd save money by purchasing air conditioner units from Amazon, but the number of reviews about units broken in the mail didn't make me confident that the discount would be so worthwhile. I could have gone to a big box store, but with crazy heat & humidity, that didn't seem worth the schlep. So I called Concept. Brad was very knowledgeable about the building I was moving into, and he gave me well-reasoned suggestions about BTU size & brands. He also had an excellent sense of humor, which helped put me at ease, as the total extent of my knowledge of A/C units is based on experiences 2 decades ago in Florida. Zach and Ray, the friendly installers, came right on time. The 2 units were up and running in about 5 minutes, with proper holes drilled for frame screws, and weather-stripping insulation in place. Ray went over the operation of each unit thoroughly & patiently--he demonstrated all the digital functions, and also how to clean the filters. I'd never seen window air conditioners properly installed before, and wow, am I ever impressed! So much better looking than any installation I or my friends or my friends' fathers have done. And Brad was absolutely right about the size of the units. Now that I'm moved in, they are cooling the rooms beautifully. It sure pays to pay for quality service. I'm so glad I saved myself lots of aggravation and went with Concept.

Owns Rue LaLa - BEWARE…read more I had placed $250 of merchandise in my cart twelve minutes at the immediate opening of a sale. They wiped out the cart as I was selecting merchandise. Please get a grip on it Retail Convergence, I have bought from you before so why would you do this when I am going to purchase now? Not like the merchandise was sitting in a cart untouched for half an hour! Not so LaLa on the invites either. What a gimmick. Plus, I wrote to Rue LaLa about the cart difficulty and asked them to send it up the line to management. Guess what? Not even an acknowledgment of my contact.. For the record, you are off my list of sellers and I am spreading the word. As a consultant, I cannot believe the company survives other than with people purchasing one item per sale. I'd scrap the other dot com they own too, SmartBargains.com There are no bargains to be had. Dear Mr. Benjamin D. Fischman, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. I trust you just might manage to get this review as a subsidiary of GSI Commerce Inc. People, contact the company at 617-695-7300 and try to supply your comments. I am sure Mr. Fischman is likely too sheltered to obtain the feedback he deserves.

Then, whenI returned something, they issued a RLL credit rather than a refund. When I inquired why, they said that's what I requested. I think not. Now they tell me they cannot issue a credit to my credit card since the card's expiration date has passed. Yes, because it has taken you so long to acknowledge the return that a new card was issued with a new expiration date, but same number. I then asked that they send me a check but they say there is no way they can issue checks. Really? Don't they pay vendors? I'm guessing they have a Accounts Payable department. Stay, stay away.
