Instead of assisting or continuing to make my drink, that employee shrugged then just stood there listening to the conversation, completely pausing the drink-making process. It seemed like she forgot she had a drink sitting on the counter. The conversation continued for several minutes about flavors, pricing, and the two employees were asking each other what time the shop opened the next day. The cashier eventually noticed my drink hadn't been finished and told the other employee to call the manager while she completed it herself. By the time I finally received it, it was past 4:00, and the drink wasn't even filled all the way. What should have been a quick stop turned into a 17-minute wait that left me feeling anxious and frustrated. I hope the other customer got the information they needed, but I had been hoping to be in and out in under 10 minutes.

They see very fruity and flavorful, and I really enjoy that kind of coffee. They make them right where you can see them do it, and It's fun to watch the process. I've often come to try the pour over only to later buy a bag of beans for home. When you do, you get a free 12 ounce drip coffee. However, to be honest, the drip offerings seem rather mediocre to me. I would not go there to buy the batch drip coffee. I do know they have a good cappuccino, though. I debated lowering the rating when I thought about their main medium roast blend on drip - Confluence. They had a blend of Ethiopian and Kenyan beans, and it was some of the best coffee I ever had. Now, they've rotated to a blend of beans from Ethiopia and New Guinea. I bought a bag thinking it would be similar to what I had before, but it just wasn't anywhere near as good, unless you brew it as espresso. However, it's really the pour over that I drink here, so I'm keeping the eating at five stars.
