I've been here several times lately. Let me just say - I come here either for the pour over or to…read morebuy beans. I do think the food is better than that of most coffee shops, but I don't actually eat the food often. I've found the service to be good and for the staff to be friendly, but they only have one register, so the line may be a bit long if they are busy. It can be a bit loud, it it's a pleasant place to sit and drink coffee. The Well will normally have three pour over choices that are from their limited time offered beans. They see very fruity and flavorful, and I really enjoy that kind of coffee. They make them right where you can see them do it, and It's fun to watch the process. I've often come to try the pour over only to later buy a bag of beans for home. When you do, you get a free 12 ounce drip coffee. However, to be honest, the drip offerings seem rather mediocre to me. I would not go there to buy the batch drip coffee. I do know they have a good cappuccino, though. I debated lowering the rating when I thought about their main medium roast blend on drip - Confluence. They had a blend of Ethiopian and Kenyan beans, and it was some of the best coffee I ever had. Now, they've rotated to a blend of beans from Ethiopia and New Guinea. I bought a bag thinking it would be similar to what I had before, but it just wasn't anywhere near as good, unless you brew it as espresso. However, it's really the pour over that I drink here, so I'm keeping the eating at five stars.

The indoor dining room is large and a patio offers more seating. We've never had an issue getting a table here. The biscuits here are good. They are much better biscuits than another business in the area with biscuit in the name. I enjoy the Retro Breakfast with the tasty hash brown. The veggie gravy has a nice flavor. Overall, the food is good for a faster, casual option. The coffee here is decent too. They offer both brewed options and a variety of sweet lattes. I'd love to see them add some lighter menu options. My husband loves to eat here and I would be more agreeable to it if it didn't doom me to all high calorie options. I appreciate that calorie counts are on the menu board to help with this. Maple Street is a good option if you're in this area looking for a casual daytime option.

If you think a bit more you might also think of the denser old fashioned donuts, often the blueberry ones. After a lot of thought you might recall those fairly dense often cinnamon sugar cake donuts. This store only sells CAKE donuts?! That's like someone advertising their store as a full on bakery and then ONLY selling banana nut bread. What's worse is they just sell plain cake donut rings and THEN after purchase slap some glazes and toppings onto them. But hey at least you get to customize your donuts right... right?! NO! The business model wants you to select from preset donut groupings. I was offered the "classic" set of six or the "party" set of six but I just wanted to grab one or two random donuts from a bunch of the different preset groupings. The cashier heard the word random and immediately rang me up for their "random grouping" which is a thing they have but it is not you picking the donuts to go into a random grab bag it is the donut topping jockey choosing them for you?! How is the idea of someone wanting to specifically pick out six different donuts themselves such an unheard of concept for this store? To the credit of the people serving me, when it was understood that there was a miscommunication after I had already paid they offered to let me pick out my donuts. BUT this was when, to my horror I discovered that this place only sold one kind of donut; a plain cake donut, that's it, and then an attendant would grab it with their gloved hand and dip it into this glaze or that glaze to "make it" a specific flavor. I was so disappointed I told the attendant to just top them however she wanted and almost asked to just not have my order fulfilled at all because what do you mean they only have cake donuts! IF you know exactly what you're getting into before you come into this store it is a great establishment for people who specifically enjoy cake donuts. But if you are a more casual donut enjoyer looking for maple bars, old-fashioneds, bavarian creme, literally any donut that is not a cake donut; this store is a massive betrayal of expectations

Open 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday through Friday, with extended hours to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday, they offer a massive eating space, a large outdoor patio, even a double decker basketball court and a foosball table! The grilled cheese sandwich on sourdough made on site with gooey provolone, cheddar, and swiss, is quite tasty! Their baked goods are delicious, including a scrumptious cinnamon roll when it's not sold out, and their extensive selection of hot and cold drinks is impressive for this secluded coffee shop! Combo meals also allow the addition of a soup or Block & Barrel chips, a deliciously flavorful brand out of Texas. I guess the 5,000 church members provide sufficient patronage to keep business booming, but anyone is welcome to dine here and you can relax unbothered for hours. Sunday until 12:30 p.m. is pretty busy, as is Tuesday night, but the rest of the time it's a pretty quiet spot! The church does have free wifi, but it's a bit slower than most.

This Starbucks sits directly on Franklin Road in Brentwood and shares a small plaza with two other…read morebusinesses including Chipotle. They are situated on one end of the complex, and while this does not allow space for a drive thru, they do have a small patio out front. Inside is smaller than your other stand alone Starbucks location and doesn't offer much seating, but it flows well and gets the job done. I happened to be in the area and the craving hit, so I popped by for a cold brew. The cold brew was as expected and hit the spot. There were a few folks in line, but the baristas were efficient and kept things moving. This location has a lot of mobile orders, and given the small footprint, those folks can trip over the ones who are waiting in store for their orders. The space was clean and the baristas were friendly. Overall, standard Starbucks location that comes in clutch when in the area and the craving hits.

I don't know if they have remodeled, but when I walked in, it looked like a brand new location. The staff was friendly and even double checked on me to make sure I have been helped.
