While we're very excited for the library, this makes it very hard for small businesses like The Milky Way to expect their normal customers -- or any customers at all to be honest. If you're able to park a little down the road and walk over, please do! It's definitely worth it! Okay, back to our experience. The Milky Way serves Genuine brand ice cream and offers a pretty decent lineup. My fiancé opted for a scoop of honey lavender & huckleberry. I got a scoop of the peanut butter chocolate topped with sprinkles. Both were really good but I must admit my peanut butter chocolate ice cream tasted like it was sitting at the bottom of the freezer for a little too long. But, with the lack of traffic due to construction, I wasn't surprised. On the bright side, my fiancé's ice cream was perfect. Our dog, Thor, even got his own pup cup! I love when businesses have options like this. It's a treat for us and a treat for our pets. The young man who served us was incredibly friendly. We chatted for awhile while he scooped our ice cream and he expressed his gratitude for our business and the extra tip.
