Beef Tallow Donuts?! Say less…read more Lone Peak Provisions donuts have been popping up on my Instagram feed forever. It feels like everyone and their mamas were getting these donuts except me! Well, that didn't last long because I finally got my hands on them and they're so good! There are a few donut places in town but this sure stands out. Fried in beef tallow, these donuts fill your craving for a guilty pleasure without giving you that almost regrettable feeling after you eat them. They offer a nice variety of flavors but my stand outs have to be the original glazed, Nutella, and huckleberry. I thought I would really love the creme brulee but the cream inside had a strange sour tang to it that my palette did not enjoy. Out of nowhere, we saw signs for Follow Yer Nose BBQ in Emigrant MT. We were expecting "good enough". We found excellent"! The brisket was tender and juicy and very well flavored with a little bit of crust. Pulled pork was tender and flavorful. Smoked sausage was lightly charred and full of herbs and spices. Fries were hot and crispy. Sauces on-the-side ran the gamut from mild to fiery. The line was long, and it moved quickly. There's a lot of covered outdoor seating, in addition to indoor seating. Lots of fun stuff on the walls and corny jokes. Staff was friendly. This was a great discovery, 30 miles north of Gardiner. And they have a food-truck smack-dab in the middle of Gardiner, too. If you want a tip, look for a restaurant with a full parking lot for guaranteed good food. My my my.

The owner has been engaged in targeted harassment against the local business Cross the Road Chicken and its owner. Specifically, the owner has taken Cross the Road Chicken marketing stickers, placed them onto the Cholms Burger food truck and personal truck, and defaced them by writing homophobic slurs directly onto the branding. This behavior is unprofessional, constitutes vandalism, and promotes hate speech within the Bozeman business community. Customers should be aware of the management's actions before choosing to support this establishment. Photographic evidence of this defacement is being maintained and submitted to local authorities.
