Bozeman airport only has two restaurants, and the alternative was closed at 5pm so we ended up here. I was in the mood to absolutely demolish a burger, so I was set on my decision upon entry. I was a bit shocked to see that their burger only came with one 1/4 patty, that's a fairly small burger. So I elected to add an extra patty on that thang (don't judge me). There was no sort of selection as far as how to cook the burger, so it ended up being a bit dry for my liking. It was supposed to be your traditional bbq / blue cheese style burger, but I don't think there was any sauce on it once I got it. Of course I made my own with the condiments provided (nice work having cholula, I have no idea why places carry traditional Tabasco from the pre-historic days). This restaurant is perfectly serviceable, especially for a small airport. The side salad and regular salad are actually surprisingly decent for what you would expect too. I just think there's a few things that they can easily adjust to make the burger much better. read more

I love this place, when I don't have to wait. I'm already waiting for something when I get there. That's the whole point of going here isn't it? It's not exactly a destination eatery. So while I wait for that other thing, I shouldn't have to wait for anything else. And that's one of the reasons I love this spot. Stopped in after a great Thanksgiving week trip to Bozeman and Big Sky. Between the three of us, we ordered the tuna melt on sourdough (good), burger with side salad (very good, and salad was huge! Was on mixed greens, and I liked it better than the southwest salad with grilled chicken I ordered. It didn't have much flavor, chicken was very dry and flavorless, and corn was still frozen; also didn't like the chipotle ranch dressing - blue cheese was much better. For drinks, my husband had his favorite local beer, the Midas crush IPA from Map brewing in Bozeman ($10.50). I had a glass of the Franciscan Cabernet ($12); not very good. And my mom had a hot tea. This restaurant is located at the opposite side of the delta gate on the B side. Like the other restaurant, this one was busy but, the difference is the server here was a lot more attentive. The manager greeted me warmly and immediately; when I told him my intent of why I was dining here he let me know that all they had was the brownie sundae which is what I wanted. He led me to my table and the server was at my table a few seconds later. When my dessert arrived, the manager made sure I knew that the dish was hot. The sundae was delicious as it was warm. The ambience was also amazing and friendly. My server (I wish I got his name) was extremely friendly, efficient, and called me by name at the end of my meal. I wish I came here to dine instead of that copper horse place. I'll be in Bozeman monthly and trust I'll be here often.... read more

But after a few bites, I realized I had already eaten most of it before I even thought to stop and take a photo! The bacon was perfectly crispy, the tomatoes fresh and juicy, and the lettuce added the perfect crunch. The toasted bread held everything together just right -- no soggy mess here. The food was Eh, the service was great. I ordered the pulled pork slider appetizer which comes with four sliders (just meat and bun) and a small side of Cole slaw. The coleslaw was basically giving wet cabbage. It didn't have the sweet tang you expect from a standard slaw. The sliders were also very basic with just meat and buns, they could use maybe some pickles or something on the side. I spent $30 on the slider appetizer and a Pepsi. Food wasn't worth the price but the view across the hall is nice with the mountains. And the service was attentive. read more

Great little airport bar and restaurant! They have a good list of local beers in tap--their West Coast style IPA from MAP was excellent. Pro tip: adults can order off the kids' menu. However, the appetizers were my favorite part of this restaurant. The cheese curds were amazing and the Italian nachos were something different that was also really good. Server was really great. We were a little extra needy with a toddler but it didn't phase her and I overheard her sweet convos with other tables. Definitely good at what she does. Ordered a Buffalo chicken salad (so much blue cheese, sooooooo good) and the chicken Parmesan sliders. Sliders could have used a tad more marinara or a side for dipping but hubs dipped in the extra ranch I had. Good looking spot too. Only kinda weird thing was how quiet it was! Was disappointed with the purportedly "generous serving" of fish for the fish and chips. Got a handful of little chicken nugget sized fried fish pieces for like $16 or 17 + tax and tip. The fish was OK. I probably wouldn't have been as disappointed if they hadn't written out "generous portion" explicitly on the menu. I will say I ate a piece or two before taking a photo, so you got SLIGHTLY more than pictured... but still. It was sad. Server was kind and helpful, though, so my stars are for that. My partner's "1/4 lb" of bison in his burger was also as small as a fast food patty. It was really sad. I recommend going down to the other restaurant closer to the entrance instead, which had much larger servings for the same price... AND gave you a decent amount of fries, too. Honestly one of the best airport meals I've had. I ordered the 406 Burger, which was flavorful and filling. The bacon on top was high-quality and not overcooked. Service was friendly and fast.
