Kids played a couple rounds of Minecraft and we were back on our way of shopping the local stops. now it's a good game room if you're used to forking out $.50 to a dollar for a quick session but for me someone spoiled by my local nickel arcade that have all the same games at 20% the price I just can't see these normal arcade the same anymore... Now I can't fault them for running off quarters instead of nickels, but what I can do is avoid these like the plague the way my kids play otherwise I'm gonna need to take out another mortgage

The bathroom was shinny, smelled fresh, and fully stocked. The carpet was stain free, the games were all shinny, nothing was covered in finger prints. They have a beer and wine bar for the adults. What I liked the most was the bang for your buck! It's something like $10.00 for an hour of FREEPLAY! In this economy that's a darn good deal. If we lived in town we would take our daughter every weekend. If you are on vacation and looking for something to do this place is tons of fun. Perfect for families, a date night, friends hanging out, this place is fun for all ages. The amount of awesome pinball machines they have is just wild. I was in heaven.

So that we would just be around the corner and popping in here would be easy during our stay. Luckily I was able to come in on two different days, and at different times! We got both the night life experience and the day time experience. I think I preferred the day time because it wasn't as busy. Night means cover charge ($4) and bag check. And no kids. You might see some kids during the day. What a cool place, with yummy drinks (no food), and all my favorite arcade games, and then some! They operate on a card system, so no coins needed when you visit. My pinball wizard friend had been traveling arcade ready with coins in her bag, but it turns out they weren't needed. Ground Kontrol supplies free lockers to store your stuff; just follow the instructions and don't forget your code. I learned a lot about pinball during my visits here, and played more pinball than I usually do because of that. I mean, why not? I played one of the newest pinball games, released within weeks of my visit, which was Pokemon themed, and I played one of the more vintage pinball machines, Xenon. And everything in between! It was awesome. $20 loaded onto a card will get you 15ish games, but there is a different cost depending on which game you're playing. I was satisfied with the value and would, and did! come back again. Highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area! Make sure to check out the whole place, as it's bigger than you think and there are more games (mostly pinball) upstairs.

There's a parking lot right across the street for easy parking. I didn't try any food or drinks from the bar this time around but the staff at the entrance were nice and friendly. I love arcade places but many of them have an old run down feel and this one seems nice and shiny. There's lots of cool stuff to look at and rest your eyes on. I also appreciate a place with solid single stall bathroom, but they do require a key which is kind of annoying. It's a nice place to spend a couple hours if you happen to be hanging out in downtown McMinnville, particularly if you like video games/pinball, but even if you don't it might be a fun place for a drink/meal. It's at least worth a peak inside if you happen to be out walking in the area. There are a lot of beer/ciders on tap, but only a few tables to sit at. Decent menu and prices (pizza dough nothing to write home about but sauce has some Italian spice to it). Beers and ciders for adults. Fun music playing, 90s cartoons on the TV, super friendly staff. Will definitely be a place for longer hangs or just to pop in with two bucks on errand days. Doesn't hurt that New Morning and Dreameries are near by to round out the day.
