    Margherita Pizza

The pizza is Delicious here and doesn't cost an arm and a leg for a slice! Will return

I have a secret to tell you.... I hate basil, well I hated basil until I came here and got the margarita pizza. I don't know how to explain it other than it's magic. Sometimes I even ask for extra. If you have this place on your list definitely stop by and get a slice, or 3, or a whole pie. It's going to make your day. Their rolling veggie pizza is also a must. This is a picture of last weeks special. It had: apples, blue cheese, spinach, and hazelnuts. I don't even like cooked apples and got 4 slices. I know, I know, basil and apples, I am so weird. But that should tell you how great the place is. Also my husband, my daughter, and myself all got 2 slices with a can of soda and it came out to be 20.00. What a steal.

On my way through town, I stopped for a few slices. They were awesome! Thin crispy crust. The red sauce wasn't too much and had a great flavor. They had a seasonal slice, which I didn't try, but sounded great with a butternut squash sauce. Whenever I'm in Silverton I'll come back.

Whole pie!!! Pepperoni, sausage, Canadian bacon and olives!!!!

Very mediocre. Good for a slice at lunch time. I found it to be kind of dry but seems like quality ingredients.

Amazing pizza you must eat onsite. A nice crunchy crust. Served out of a cute vintage trailer right downtown

Best pizza around! Never burnt, ingredients are always fresh, and the crust is outstanding (and never burnt).

Consistently good pizza old New York style. Meatball subs are delicious too and plenty big.

That said, Twirling Bird did not disappoint with their sandos. Just look at it, it's huge!! The size alone is impressive, but the taste is even better. The chicken was juicy, crunchy, and super flavorful. We also got the wings, which were a little extra burnt for our liking, but they still tasted great. The sauces are solid too, I'd recommend getting as many as you can. It's a food truck, but there's a really nice seating area tucked further inside with shade, fans, and a hangout vibe. It's shared with other food trucks as well. Must-stop if you're on your way back from the falls.

Twirling Birds is on another level -- the best wings I've…read moreever had in my life. We used to go to them all the time back when they were in Portland, and even though they're in Silverton now, we still make the drive because it's absolutely worth it. The consistency is unreal - every single visit the wings come out perfectly crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. They're so good that I don't even need ranch. That's how fire these wings are. And the bread pudding? Unreal. It's not too sweet, not heavy - just light, flavorful, and always a delight to eat. The perfect way to end the meal. If you want a spot that never misses, Twirling Birds is it. Worth the drive every time.
