Was once our go to pizza place. Roughly each week, we'd order a few pizzas and a few appetizers. However, we could no longer tolerate the bad service, constant order mistakes, and inconsistent quality. The tipping point was our last order. They got one of the pizzas wrong. They remade it, painfully slow, so the rest of the food was cold. When we finally got the new pizza, we discovered that they made the wrong pizza again. We've ordered from here a bunch of times and it's usually good. This time we were disappointed. We ordered the "cheezy garlic bread" and it was dry and gross. It had no white sauce, no garlic and barley any cheese. We couldn't eat it. I took a photo of the cheezy garlic bread to compare and it was night and day difference. Normally I love this pizza and this location. I have never had an issue. Except today we called and ordered a Hawaiian pizza from Avery for delivery. When we got the pizza it was a pepperoni and Canadian bacon pizza which was pretty gross. When we called to complain avery told us she was the supervisor and all she could do was give us a $5 credit on our $30 pizza that we threw in the trash. She laughed at us when we told her we had never had such bad customer service from the location and refused to forward us to a manager or give us a managers contact info when we told her that response was unacceptable. It's expensive pizza and when it's right it's great. But if they screw or up they take no accountability. Bummer. read more

I ordered the pizza and the girl who took the order said 20 minutes. Awesome. We get there my husband goes in to pick it up and the guy say's it will be a couple more minutes. OK my husband said he will go out side and wait with Covid and all the kid behind the counter said he would bring it out. 20 minutes later my husband goes back inside. The kid says "I saw you outside, your order has been done for about 15 minutes just sitting here on the counter". WTH?? We get the pizza home and the pizza looked like a Tony's frozen that had been warmed up about 5 minutes before we got there. I had a salad and it was basically lettuce from a bag put into a plastic dish with a couple pieces of chicken thrown on it. My husband and I pretty much order the wings and salad from here twice a week. The staff is always so pleasant to interact with and check it--the wing are BOMB. B O M B. We're not big beer drinkers, but it's nice to know that if I wanted some I can have it delivered. When we had our "grown up friends" over, we ordered pizza and beer and it was just really nice. They also deliver/sell vanilla ice cream so you can totally order the stuff to make a root beer float. I really like the sweet asian wings with the bone in and pineapple/bacon/sausage pizza. My husband's favorite is the BBQ chicken wings (bone in) and the chicken club salad. We ordered these pizza dough bites with some frosting one night--and they give you so much for such a great price. Before we moved to Salem, we used to order Pizza Hut or Dominoes but there's no freaking way I'm ever ordering anything pizza/wing related (delivery/takeout) from any place other than here. Wow. Just moved to Oregon a few months back and I sure wish I knew about Odd Moe's months ago. The name of the place threw me-- didn't sound very "pizza-ey" but it was the best pizza I've ever had!! Flying Pie Pizza in Boise is a close second, I gotta say. We had the combo-- I think it had a different name, but it was really fantastic. I normally have had great service and delicious pizza but tonight I ordered half Jimmy the Greek and half Lineman and the pizza obviously went through some trauma en route because the ingredients from one half were overlayed on the other half. Food is WAY overpriced for what they give you. Cut the prices in half & that would seem fair. Barely any sauce on the pizza, which was terrible tasting like they put too much pesto in it. The bottom of the pizza was basically burnt & there were large bubbles on half the pizza. Also ordered their Garlic Parmesan nuggets & only 1 of them had any sauce. The rest were just plain breaded. This was my 2nd time trying their food & I will not be looking at ordering there again. read more

They make really good pizza. I have ordered from Moe's several time since I moved here 6 months ago and have relied on then during the Pandemic. The Lineman Pizza is outstanding. But only order and pick it up in person. Here is a review of my combined orders over the last 6 months: - The side salad ( which I ordered 1x) is hastily prepared consisted of pieces of lettuce which varied in size from 1/2 an inch to a quarter of a head. Hard to eat. Hey, what about croutons? - on another time I ordered a side of "ribs" 1x. These were not ribs. These were tailings. I ordered a 1/2 rack and got a jumble of meat with only cartilage, not a bone to chew on. They tasted ok, but what the hell? - I usually stick with my staple, the Lineman Pizza. Good stuff. This time I ordered a simple pepperoni. I placed the order through Grubhub. The app told me that it would be and 45-55 minutes for delivery (long time to begin with). I got the pie 85 minutes later (30 minutes late). I followed the order online and had no indication that the order was behind schedule. The pie was under cooked. No parmesan packets, no nothing. Here is your pie... The drivers are all very polite and are doing their best, but 85 minutes for a pie? I wish that I had places to go and people to see, but in a Corona Epidemic, I humbly admit that I do not but 1.5 hours is too long. I take orders from my stomach and in this case my stomach says fail. Shut down orders if you can not fill them or communicate that you are going to deliver an under cooked, rushed pizza 30 minutes late. I am looking for a new pizza vendor for my staple. I go for the bone-in wings, and they are definitely the best in Salem. The Sweet & spicy Asian wings, BBQ wings, and buffalo wings are what I've tried and they are all fantastic! They come in a small sturdy pizza box on foil with a dipping garlic ranch. Each order is $8.99 and there are 10 well-sauced full sized wings (so much better than competitors). Especially during quarantine, the usual team of young guys that works pickup and delivery from this place has been awesome and so helpful and cheerful! Wow. Just wow. I live out of state and wanted to surprise my little sister with a pizza delivery for her birthday. Unfortunately her high school lunch is scheduled for 10:30 AM (so early!). I was desperately looking for a pizza place that could get a delivery out that early but no shop opened before 11 AM. Just when I was about to give up I called Odd Moe's and talked to Nick who made all my pizza delivery dreams come true! Even though it was outside of their normal delivery range AND before the shop normally opens he offered to personally deliver the pizza to make the birthday surprise happen. He even said he'd make sure to throw in extra plates/napkins/cups so that my sister could have a little pizza party with all her friends. I haven't experienced customer service like this since... maybe ever? Better believe I left the biggest tip of my life. Go support this business, they are incredible! read more

This place has completely fallen apart. The previous owner had it absolutely dialed in and it was hands-down my favorite pizza joint. BUT... since he left: prices have gone up, wait times are through the roof, ingredient quantity and quality have tanked, and tipping is all but mandatory, even for takeout orders (for real, I phoned in an order and they AUTOMATICALLY helped themselves to a 20% tip - never even asked!). The kids that work here have no sense of time, they never check the online orders, and they get half as much done with twice the staff. I'd give them a little bit more of a pass if the previous owner Matt didn't make them look so stupid and incompetent. Seriously, he used to run the place with one other employee and the food was actually done on time. For less money. And it was better quality. And he didn't dishonestly add tips without asking the customer. read more
