We both had a chance to get a nice bag of assorted products. They make a lot of their own chocolates and everything we tried is great. They have spice chocolates made with cayenne. This is not a "burn your mouth out" spice level. It is a nice warm after effect. The fruit flavors were wonderful. They also have a wide selection of herbal teas. If you don't see what you want, ask. The lady who was there when we visited was extremely helpful and pleasant. She did say that they were closed for several months, so if you have stopped by during that time, come back. They are ready to go. Comparing them to other premiere chocolatiers in other cities, this product is very good, indeed. The four star rating I've given is indeed a fair one. The lady also mentioned that they will be expanding their store into the space behind, so there will be many other choices. They also sell candles. Despite the feline references, we did not notice any creatures crawling around. We will be back.

Lemonade White Chocolate had just enough zest that the lemon really shined though. The Spicy Lime/Tequila Dark Chocolate was a unique blend, there was defiantly a kick of spice. Lastly, the caramels were heavenly. The Butterscotch Caramel melts in your mouth, and of course the Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel was the perfect mix. Cowgirl Chocolates, my sweet tooth thanks you!

Kim’s International Market - They got rice cakes y'all! I called a few days ahead and asked them to hold some for me and they did! 떡!

You can get a shopping cart right in front of the store before coming in if you need one (or you can also grab a small hand basket inside if you prefer). My husband and I stopped by this market yesterday evening, around 5:50 pm. I wanted to see if there was any banchan and other random snacks for our trip. And although this is a small market, there was a fair selection of banchan that I ended up purchasing (japchae, the glass noodle stir fry) and stir fry fish cakes (one of my favorite banchan). I also purchased a few sheet masks since they were only $0.99 (prior to tax) but kind of in a hidden area that I think others may overlook when they browse this small mom and pop store. My husband picked out a few canned drinks and I also ended up purchasing some seaweed flavored snacks. The prices in general, seem to be a little bit more expensive than the prices back home in Los Angeles at my local Korean markets, but that is to be expected. The selection for most items is actually pretty good, considering that this is a small market. But I think overall, it fits the need of most items that you may be looking for at a Korean market (there are also items that are Chinese and few Japanese items here as well, for those interested). After paying for our items, the employee (whom I suspect is one of the owners), was so nice and thanked me for shopping at the store. I enjoyed our visit and would come back if I lived in this area.

Probably some of the best produce in town, and great prices on Hispanic groceries and items that you don't find in most Name brand markets. I also love the fact that they have ready to serve Barbacoa, Carnitas, and other items in the back "deli." And the fresh fried chicharrones are the best. I love coming here for the big cans of hominy for time when I'm making Pozole Roja, or for Napales (cactus) and other specialty Hispanic items. They also have a great selection of kitchen ware if you need it. Come check them out

In my family tradition, for the holidays, we have a special type of almond candy called turron. There are several styles like alicante and jijona. Mercado Marias has it! Got my turron and more! Fresh chorizo, spices, and just about any Latino grocery product item you want! The store is a bit cramped, but so worth the go! Reasonable prices here and very pleasant staff. I highly recommend the store for all those hard to find Hispanic grocery items on your list! Gracias, Mercados Marias! El chorizo fue muy delicioso y me alegró tanto que tienes el turron que estabamos buscando! Definitivamente volveré de compras a tu tienda. Tienes una gran selección de artículos que no puedo encontrar en ningún otro lugar.

Their selection is better than any other local nursery I've been to (I've been to most of them at this point), the employees are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, and the quality of their plants, soil, and other products is top notch. They also have a lovely little store with local food, honey, and other products. Everything is reasonably priced and comparable to other garden centers -- I also love that they sell the same kind of plants in various sizes and number increments so you don't have to buy way more than you actually need! Overall, I rate Martin's as a garden wonderland and can't recommend them enough
