Kim's International Market is diagonally across a Tire World, with some limited parking available right in front. You can get a shopping cart right in front of the store before coming in if you need one (or you can also grab a small hand basket inside if you prefer). My husband and I stopped by this market yesterday evening, around 5:50 pm. I wanted to see if there was any banchan and other random snacks for our trip. And although this is a small market, there was a fair selection of banchan that I ended up purchasing (japchae, the glass noodle stir fry) and stir fry fish cakes (one of my favorite banchan). I also purchased a few sheet masks since they were only $0.99 (prior to tax) but kind of in a hidden area that I think others may overlook when they browse this small mom and pop store. My husband picked out a few canned drinks and I also ended up purchasing some seaweed flavored snacks. The prices in general, seem to be a little bit more expensive than the prices back home in Los Angeles at my local Korean markets, but that is to be expected. The selection for most items is actually pretty good, considering that this is a small market. But I think overall, it fits the need of most items that you may be looking for at a Korean market (there are also items that are Chinese and few Japanese items here as well, for those interested). After paying for our items, the employee (whom I suspect is one of the owners), was so nice and thanked me for shopping at the store. One of my students had some cute snacks and she told me she got them from Kim's. So, I determined then that I was going. It's easy to pass if you're not using GPS, so be on the lookout. The store is small but efficiently stocked and organized. I had no plan for what I was buying lol but I found some purple yam chips (I love sweet potatoes/yams), instant spicy ramen (I googled the best Korean ramen), and some spicy mango. They have fresh veggies, to-go food, and cute cookies and snacks as well as spices, meats, beauty products and cook ware. The ramen was the best. Follow the directions for the best results, and I'm pretty sure you'll agree it's much better than that instant ramen we grew up eating (you know what I'm talking about lol). Haven't tried the other two items yet, but I'm looking forward to it. The spicy mango does have Yellow dye, so I probably won't be eating too much of it. I try to avoid dyes if I can. read more

Such amazing and friendly staff and owners always beyond kind and helpful. The banchan is always fresh and delicious as someone from San Diego I missed the easily available Asian specialty food stores and this place caters to a carpet very well. My favorite item is the homemade kimchi it is always delicious. I would deff recommend going during the week do you can as it does get busy on the weekends. read more

I was desperately craving gimbap and banchan. A couple people spoke highly of this place and so I made the 50 mile trek from my house to check it out. 100% worth it! First of all, it's really clean and organized and somehow packed with everything you could be looking for! Gimbap: Some of the best I've ever had. Super fresh and flavorful. I should've bought more if I knew they would be that good! They do run out early!! They had like 4 left when I got there at 11am ish. Banchan: Good selection, I ended up w the Seasoned Fishcakes, Japchae (stir fried glass noodles) and Cucumber Kimchi. All of this was great - it tastes like homemade... my tummy was so happy. It was always the unexpected stop that gave you a wow! My husband and I were in the area and were driving by. Yeah...we love walking around grocery stores. Just a random thing to do but it is one of our hobbies lol First impression was everything is extremely organized and super clean. My OCD had been activated and I was so happy to be in this grocery store. They carry so many ingredients that are hard to find in other asian groceries. I'd say you will be able to find everything you need for a Korean cuisine and most of the ingredients for other asian cuisine. Service was great. This place was a lot better than I anticipated, the people there were nice and it was not loud in there at all. There was no music just sounds of people enjoying this wonderful Japanese/Korean Market. For a market on the smaller side it had a lot of more rare Japanese food like chazuke (茶漬け), Oden supplies (おでん), and henpen fish cake (はんぺん) and so on so forth. I absolutely love Kim's International Market. They are the best Korean/Japanese market in Middle Tennessee! Everything that you could want to make Ramen and some of the hard to find fresh produce like lotus root. Kim's also has a lot of homemade/premade Koreanand Asian specialty foods that the owner has prepared (kind of like a little deli). It's a great place to grab a quick snack. I love the fresh noodle selection as well as the diverse frozen foods selection that they have for gyoza, shumai, dumplings, etc. Go check Kim's out if you haven't been there yet! If it's an International market (oriental especially) you seek, definitely stop in to see what the Kim family offers! This is an EXTREMELY clean & organized market. There's little produce here & just one case of prepared foods, but the shelves are stocked from floor to ceiling w/ boxed & canned offerings! Prices are clearly marked & clearly REASONABLE; there were no surprises. Mrs. Kim, a quiet woman w/ a thick accent who operated the register, was friendly & helpful. I posted pics of some of what you'll find here. Definitely one of the nicer International markets I've stepped into, although not one you'd want to visit if you are seeking European packaged foods. I did also see Thai foods as well. Fresh kimchi (oooh yeah!) & a few other side pickles items. Mando...they have them (made mine tonight). Korean pancake mix, they've got it. They have a small amount of produce wish there were more, but it's ok. Pickled takuan they have it. Rice cookers (Korean brand) they have them. I'm so glad there's an Asian market in Murfreesboro! They have a wide variety of Korean and East and Southeast Asian items, as well as some fresh groceries. Most importantly, they are very neat and clean. They also sell homemade traditional Korean entrees, banchan, and rice desserts in a small refrigerated area near the front, which is fantastic because there aren't any traditional Korean restaurants near me. read more

The owners are such nice people and they have an excellent selection of Asian food items. It's everything you can't find in a grocery store when you're planning on cooking an Asian dish or looking for snacks from other parts of the world. I picked up some natto for some of my students to try as well as for myself. I also grabbed some Ramune drinks for the kids and for my daughter who loves them. Everything was easy to find, the store is clean, and the owners are so friendly and kind. I was surprised at how much they are able to fit in the space that they have and how organized everything was. Definitely check them out, you'll be glad that you did. read more

Such a cool place! We drove from Spring Hill to get here. We stocked up on all of our sauces and ingredients as well as some frozen soup dumplings that were amazing!! What a great little store they have many items for pantry and frozen things like dumplings etc. the main feature for me though was the deli case of take away dishes to include beef bulgogi, japchae, kimchi radish amongst others.
