I purchased on July 4 sale a two player extended panel and mount. I asked if I can make it a 8…read morebutton layout instead of his 6. Wait time was about 3 weeks. Got a phone call 4 weeks later asking what I wanted. JC said that he thinks it should be no problem. 4 more weeks go by and I called to see how the order was going. Although nice on phone he didn't know what order I was talking about. Then said that he can't do 4 extra buttons on an extended panel even with that much room. DIY retro arcade has smaller panel with more buttons. I assume he doesn't know how to map out extra buttons and only has pre-mades. Just wished he would of told me earlier so I could find or make something else. If you need anything custom go somewhere else.

My arcade cabinet from Tulsa Arcades has been just awesome. I have had the machine for two months…read more Its had tons of use with zero issues. The number of games on it is mind boggling, it has essentially every arcade game ever made from the beginning of time until the early 90's and virtually every home system console game up through the Play Station 1 including many consoles I never heard of. The artwork is custom and amazing (I have TMNT on one side, Marvel on the other with classic arcade stuff on the front). Yes, it's was expensive, but I promise you, when you get a machine from Tulsa Arcades, you will know it was money well spent. I have four Arcade 1up machines. Nobody ever plays them anymore. Even when I have all my grandkids and adult children over, they just wait for their turn on the Tulsa Arcade machine while the Arcade 1ups stay dormant. I'm going to sell those on Craigslist because the Tulsa Arcades machine is so far superior I can't see anyone ever playing anything else. I see a lot of people complaining about the wait time for a machine from Tulsa Arcades. I get that, mine took a couple months. However, and I can't stress this enough, It's worth waiting for. The extra playtime and enjoyment you will get out of it will vastly exceed the pain of waiting a couple months. You will never get bored with this machine. I have the PC build, just get that one, it has over 8500 games on it and replicates the actual arcade experience almost perfectly. Do I have complaints? Sure, but they are minor. As I mentioned it takes a long time to get the machine. Again, it's so worth it that this isn't really an issue. I would have liked to get better instructions. For example it took a week before I figured out that there is a search parameter for ALL games on all systems. So if you want to search for just 2D scroller games from the Play Station, you can do that, or if you want to search only 2D scrollers from arcade games no problem, but you can also search all systems for 2D scrollers and see them in one list. In other words when sifting through 8500+ games learning to use the search function is a key to getting the most out of this thing. It doesn't come with instructions so you have to figure this out by just playing with it, or you can find instructions on line, or as in my case, I just put my 12 year old grandson on the project and he figured it all out and then taught me. My last complaint is that I haven't figured out how to remap the buttons. That sort of matters because the buttons end up in the wrong order on certain video games. For example on Street Fighter 2 the buttons on the right side should be the slower higher power strikes, but they are not. It has all six buttons, but not in the right order on certain games so the ability to reconfigure these for individual games would be a big help for certain games. Without that ability, there is no way to have all the buttons in the right layout for the vast number of games on the machine. For 99 percent of the games this doesn't matter but for certain games it does. In short, not only is a machine from Tulsa Arcades worth it, it's totally worth it. It's one of the best things I have ever bought and at least two of my adult children now want one as well for their homes. I also want a flight/driving sim set up from Tulsa Arcades if that ever comes out. This is a real review. I'm Greg from Greg's Airplanes and Automobiles on youtube. I'm saying that because I know there are lot of anonymous fake reviews out there both positive and negative.
