We were greeted warmly as we came in, Luke the bartender/server went through the local drink choices and food selections, and we had an amazing time. We got the Elote dip, the Elvis burger, the haystack, and Remi's mom's carrot cake and we were blown away with the quality and taste of the food. Food is to die for! Lots of options for the whole family, great beer and drink selection too! They even have plenty of gluten free /dairy free/ vegetarian options as well. Service is great, all the workers are kind and show they care about what they are doing. All the games are fun and retro with a few other more modern options like golf. The bad.....the food service, upon entering I was told told to wait by a flustered waitress on Sunday at 11, with little patrons in the "bistro". Just ordered some simple things, hot dog, beers, and a burger. Waited an hour and half before I decided to pay for my drinks and left. Came to try out Remi's with my husband and kids and my son brought a game loving friend along. We were greeted promptly and seated with menus. I was concerned that a sign at the entrance said over 21 after 8 pm and we arrived a little after 7 but the staff said it would be okay. It seemed to be a slow night which I hope is not the norm for such a great place on a Saturday night. We looked over the menu and ordered drinks and found out how the games worked. It was $12 for a wristband for unlimited game play on the arcade games and the pinball machines took quarters and were $1, there was a change machine near the pinball machines and a few of the machines did take bills. Everyone played games while we waited on our food but the food came out very quickly! Everyone washed their hands before eating...you know, after touching all the communal property! Haha! Some hand sanitizer available may be a good touch for them to add but the bathroom is handy and was clean and well kept, my daughter loved the mirror! The FOOD! It was so good! There were lots of menu items I had a hard time choosing so asked for what was popular. Burgers and the shrimp or pork tacos were recommended by the serverAll the guys got burgers, I got the shrimp tacos, and my daughter got the kids chicken. My husband had the Bowser Smash which I tried a bite of and it was so juicy and flavorful! I'm not a big fan of lots of spice but don't mind it and this was perfect!!! My shrimp tacos were LOADED with filling and so yummy. The fries were cooked perfectly and our daughter really liked her chicken but I didn't try it myself. The price for the portions for the burgers and fries seemed to be a little on the high side we thought but that was really the only negative we could see in our whole visit. There were lots of games to choose from, lots of oldies but goodies and I spent a fair amount of time on the pinball machines! All games seemed to be functioning well also. First time coming for dinner tonight with some friends. The crowd wasn't bad when we got there around 4 pm. We were Greeted and sat by Soney. She also took our order and the food was amazing. I got the Thai chicken lettuce wrap and whoa let me tell you that was absolutely amazing. I will definitely get that again but want to try the turkey burger next. My husband got the Elvis burger and man did he love that burger along with the amazing fries. I even tasted the fries and they tasted great. It tasted like clean grease which is great when you want good fries to turn out like they did. We also had an appetizer that had tabouli, hummus, carrots, cherry tomatoes, olives, feta cheese and something else. Which all was amazing but so much food. The noise wasn't loud at all which surprised me with being lots of people there by the time we left and games. Everything was A++++++++++ and more. Great work to all the staff that was there tonight that served us and that didn't. Great work to all the servers that made the food cause you definitely out did yourself. Just had Brunch at Remis! Shakshura was so delicious . Spicy Bloody Mary fully loaded with big juicy dill specked shrimp, candied bacon and pickled vegetables couldn't have been better. The breakfast burrito and mini muffins were also tasty! Now I'm ready to Sunday nap perfectly happy. read more
