This is a good place far away from the main city. This place is located in a small city of champlin. It had some people inside enjoy a good meal. The service was good, the waitress was nice and patience. The food was good, i enjoy rhe pad kra pao (or the wide noodle) it was delicious and big. The papaya was oka, i prefer lao style. It did go well with the beef jerky. The beef salad was oka, it didnt taste as fresh but it was season oka. The house soup was super good, it taste very plain, but it is the most helpful to my tongue to cleanse the greasiness. The beef curry was good as well, i love how much bamboo was put into the curry. I have been going here ever since I was little for birthdays, graduations, you name it. My top picks are the chicken pad thai, spicy chicken wings (sauce on side), and their beef laab. While most foods are pretty standard at Thai restaurants, I am very picky about my pad thai. I enjoy a saucier pad thai that isn't orange and tomato-y and this place makes it PERFECT. This place is a must go get up of your a$$ and try this place out. The prices here won't break your pockets and the food is bomb! It's a small mom and pops owned for 26 years! I had gotten the green curry here and the spicy chicken wings. Both was good and made it to go home also... My buddy got the laarb and basil fried rice, which came out looking bomb and good portions. Let me tell ya... the laarb was only about 13 BUCKS!!! It came with sticky rice and a soup!. I thought the soup was going to be small, but it came out like a regular soup with meat in it dammit. The price was great for the full combo meals and had a lot of meet (tried the combo house fried rice, pad Thai). We also tried the ice thai tea and spicy wings (they weren't very spicy, but it could be that we are used to a ton of spice since my boyfriend is Lao). There was lot of seating available, and the service was great. It's a cute little restaurant. For parking, it is street parking, so you may have to walk a tiny bit if you can't find a spot close. The only reason we (my boyfriend and I) are saying we would maybe recommend it, depends on if you are really into Thai food/from a Thai/Lao family, then you may not think this is as great just due to how you were brought up and used to ethnic food. The green curry chicken tasted so sweet that it was uneditable. I can tell It was old refrigerated curry that was cooked for days and reheated up. It tasted like leftover food you refrigerate and reheat and you eat it for a week. We also had chicken pad thai. It was dry and tasteless. Chicken and beef larb , the portions was small and tasteless too. . It wasn't even larb. They put a bit of lemon juice in it, mixed it with cilantro and sautéed beef and they call iit larb. It's was tasteless too. Same with the chicken larb. I had to mix in my own fish sauce I had at home and rice powder to season it better myself. . I've eaten a lot of Thai food and this is the worst place. II've had food here before and it was better. This place must be under new ownership or something cause the food was not good. I got the chicken fried rice and deep fried spring roll. The chicken in the chicken fried rice was so overdone it felt like leather. But, the fried rice was stupid good. The deep fried spring came with some sauce I was afraid to even smell it, but dear god was it delicious. The portions are outrageous. I'm a big stickler on price and portions but this is spot on. The service was excellent, fast, and everything one could ask for. I read all the reviews and decided to try the fan favorites from Yelp. I learned I don't care for the pad Thai. There was something in it that made it taste sour to me, or it was the texture of the noodles, or the fact it almost tasted cold, but I'm definitely not a fan - no one at my table was. The chicken curry was amazing though. The egg rolls are amazing. I'll definitely be back to try other things. I want to try something spicy next. Any recommendations? I have previously written a long, drawn-out review about the necessity for cashews in the Spicy Cashew Chicken. For the third time, you have neglected this one ingredient that makes Spicy Cashew Chicken; the cashews. As stated before, the word "Cashew" is literally in the name of this dish. So simple. Some things I typically like such as sweet and sour and sesame chicken are done in a style I don't prefer but that's probably just me. the dining in experience is nothing special but comfortable. When my parents request dinner out, Reuan Thai is one of their most favorite options. This small, family owned restaurant located in Osseo serves a wide variety of delicious Thai food for some of the cheapest prices you can find. Walking in, you'll notice booths along one wall and tables and chairs along the other with large photographs of many of their tempting selections on the wall. Although not feng shui, I appreciate being able to see what certain dishes look like to help me decide in ordering! We always order a variety of dishes and can confidently say that the laab, papaya salad, and any curry dish is worth ordering. The fried walleye is also amazing as well! They offer many of their dishes at different spice levels and believe that their hot is HOT. Service is friendly and efficient. Our favorite place for Thai food in all of the twin cities! My husband and I always go out of our way to come here for Pad Thai. It's a very cute mom and pop shop type of restaurant, very quaint and cozy, but that's how you know the food will be good. Recently they switched to takeout only, but hopefully they will go back to pre-pandemic buffet style, because that was a great way to try a lot of the food on the menu and find out what you like. My absolute favorite thing hands down on their menu is the pad Thai. In my opinion, it's the best out of anywhere I have tried in Minnesota. But. Very close second is their chicken curry with white rice.. OHHHHH MY GOODNESS it is amazing! It's the perfect balance of sweet and spicy, the curry flavors are not overpowering, and the coconut milk only compliments the flavors instead of drowning them out. We love everything about this dish. A third dish that we always order is the spicy chicken (stir fry, not the wings) which is in all honestly not my favorite, but my husband loves it a lot. I'm not sure what ingredient is in there that is just not my jam (I think it might be the basil?) but it's not disgusting at all, I can still eat it and understand why one might enjoy it. November 18, I ordered Fried Wontons-6. Luckily I checked my food before leaving. I found hair in my food. When I went and told the owner she had an attitude. When she came back she gave me a new one and when I began to Chew I felt that there was plastic in my mouth as you can see in the picture below. They were very rude to me and unprofessional. I found plastic and hair in my food and when I gave it back they were rude and told me to never come back again. I wasn't rude to them or disrespectful. I talked to them in a manner that was appropriate and they are very unorganized. They could've apologized to me instead of cussing me out. I was rudely served and approached today. Bland, greasy, uninspired food that is not very authentic I dropped by this restaurant while in town based on the great Yelp Reviews but was honestly very disappointed. The quality of the food was disappointing as was the complete lack of flavor and spice on a menu that felt more "American-Chinese" than Thai. For all my reviews, I break down the review into segments and provide a review for each of the segments, then average for a total review: Location: 3 Stars Good location in downtown Osseo. Plenty of street parking and walkable for folks who live nearby. Honestly the best part of the experience. Facility/Ambiance/Cleanliness: 1 Star The restaurant is in need for a good cleaning and some upgrades. I know some of the reviews like the "dive" aspect of this, but I argue that a good dive is well-love and well-worn vs. dirty. This place is honestly filthy. My table and seat were so greasy and gross that I stuck to the seat and didn't want to put my arms on the table. Menu: 2 Stars The menu felt more like an American-Chinese menu with a few Thai items than a real Thai menu. Missing were things like Penang Curry and Pad Khee Mao, but there was both Chow Mein and Lo Mein. Food Quality / Taste: 1 Star I ordered a Thai Noodle dish with Tofu. The dish showed up nice and hot but was literally swimming in a pool of grease. Was disgusting.
