Chicken curry and cheese wontons - yummy!!
    Jitt B.

Nice Thai restaurant with delicious and authentic Thai cuisine! Service was friendly and quite prompt. The establishment was clean and had simple decor. We had the wontons and spring rolls for appetizers - both were delicious! We also ordered the chicken curry, chicken pad Thai, and chicken fried rice. We enjoyed them all - very flavorful, authentic and delicious!! We'll definitely come again! Highly recommended!

Update to my prior review. I came here again and truly cannot recommend enough the outstanding food here. The appetizers like egg rolls and chicken satay are fabulous. Pad see ew and red curry is amazing and their cheesecake roll is to die for. The service is friendly and atmosphere is warm and inviting. Run, don't walk, to Jasmine Thai!

I always enjoy a good Thai dinner and was not disappointed. I ordered fresh spring rolls and the vegetable Jasmine Thai Lo Mein with an egg on top. Delicious! The service was the best, and they aim to please. I'll be back to this hidden gem.

Jasmine Thai was a perfect and delicious lunch today! I enjoyed the green curry (lunch portion) with chicken, spring rolls with shrimp, and cream cheese wontons. The service was very friendly! I ordered to-go and didn't have to wait too long until it was ready. Cool place!

First time trying Jasmine Thai! It's now going to be our go to take out spot. Our fried rice and pad thai were so flavorful and they are accurate with their spice levels. The chicken satay was also delicious. The peanut sauce and cucumber complimented the chicken really well. We always ordered 2 cream cheese wontons that are not pictured because our kids ate them all right away Those were also very good. Right amount of filling and sweet chili sauce.

This place is phenomenal for so many reasons. The food is always fresh, no matter what you select from the menu. The flavors pack a punch AND you get to choose the spice level (0-4). The green curry had a perfect balance of sweet and spicy; portion sizes allowed for a meal the next day. The chicken satay sauces are to die for. The cucumber one was an unexpectedly PLEASANT surprise. The fried rice was perfectly salted with a good ratio of protein/vegetables. My 4-year-old niece wolfed down the spring rolls with dips and all. The tea is an orange dreamsicle, magical treat. The service is quick, accommodating, and friendly. Learning about the upbringing of this restaurant by the employees themselves brings on an even greater appreciation for Jasmine Thai. The restaurant set-up may benefit from an update, although there is plenty of seating for small and large parties. * Kid-friendly * Front parking lot * Outdoor seating * $ Fair pricing for great food!!

Thom Yum Po -Tak small w chicken and shrimp

I ordered a few items for delivery via Grubhub and was pleasantly surprised that everything was fresh and as ordered. The food was all super tasty. I can only imagine how it would be hot from the kitchen. I hope to experience that one day soon! The chicken is fried hard if you're into that and the green sauce is light and sweet in contrast to the fried chicken. The papaya salad was good, but needed some spice. There was no option to add a spice level in the app and I did not add an extra note about that. I would say my least favorite was the Tom yum po tak but I am super picky about that. The broth was flavorful but it was just lacking that extra something for me. I am a huge fan of Roat Oshas Tom yum if you've had that and this was not close. Still very good, don't get me wrong! I got 3 large shrimp in the small sized soup w chicken and shrimp $1 add on. The shrimp were really big so wasn't mad at only 3. I was a bit annoyed that there were pieces of galangal, lemongrass and basil stems to pick out. St least you can tell they used the real stuff lol. I also got sticky rice to tie it all together. I feel like I got a decent value for my money even after the inflated Grubhub fees and whatnot. And I will definitely be coming back and trying more items and get the full in person experience.

This place looks shabby from the outside, but when you walk in, It actually really nice. Definitely a place to try for those who want Thai food. The inside is has booth and tables and it looks cool. The services were really good. The waiter was quick and they brought out everything in a good pace. Toward the end, i was very thirsty, but they came by to fill my water. The food is good, very delicious and flavorful. The drunken noodle was greasy, but with the house soup it does cleanse the taste so it isnt so greasy. The drunken noodle was just enough; we order off the lunch menu. It came with the house soup. The pad kra pow was yummy. It doesnt have a strong basil taste, but it was there. The steam dumplings is basic. The eggroll was good, very different, it has a unique flavor. The dessert: the green tea ice cream was good, it is very different from other green tea ice cream . The cheesecake roll was good, but it wasnt what i thought it was. But it goes well with the ice cream.

I had been wanting to try this place for a while, and I really enjoyed my dinner the first time I came. The fried rice was especially delicious. However, I returned a week or two later for takeout and the food just didn't quite have the same taste. Like many restaurants, I don't think you can count on quality control/ consistency here, and that can make or break your experience with the food. Second, I was a bit disappointed that the parking lot and inside decor was a outdated/unkept. I'm big on atmosphere and I didn't get the best experience for that here. The staff was nice both times but nothing remarkable: just your standard interactions. I'm undecided on if I will give this place another try any time soon. I do believe there are better Asian options. It was just ok

Tod Gra-Tiam Pring-Tai Stir Fry with Pork

We love Jamine Thai! We have been coming to this location since it was Karta Thai, and since the ownership and name change they really have not missed a beat. Some of our favorites are Tom Yum soup, green or red curry, any of the noodle dishes, and we just tried the Tod Gra Tiam Pring Tai stir fry. It's basically the Thai version of Chinese beef and broccoli, but Soooo full of flavor! We got ours with pork. We also tried the more complex flavored Tom Yum Po Tak and we loved it! What we love also is that they have their own parking, which is actually a deciding factor for us when considering Asian fare around NE, where you pretty much have to go to Dinkytown and fight the crowds and parking. Service is always friendly and great, and we never have to wait long for our food. They also have large tables for group get-togethers.

Amazing curry and stir frys at this spot! Try the Khao Soi soup if you like coconut curry! Equally excellent with mock duck or pork (yes-I did both of them at different times because the coconut curry is sooo good). Great service! They now offer sushi (next time we will try it). Lots of takeout delivery guys coming in, so try to sit at a booth or table (not counter). Don't judge the restaurant by the outside-come in an enjoyable the atmosphere (very relaxed).

King's Restaurant (Korean) in Fridley, MN is delicious! We ordered Naeng-Myeon buckwheat noodle…read moresoup, which is served cold and only available in the summer. The buckwheat noodles are very chewy and served with pickled white radish slices and julienned cucumbers, half of a hard boiled egg, and 2 thin slices of beef brisket. Note: the Korean buckwheat noodles in this soup are slight translucent and chewy, and not the same type as the Japanese buckwheat noodles, which are not as chewy. The noodle soup is accompanied by 2 bottles sauces: hot/spicy yellow mustard and vinegar to add per your desired spice and sour level. The soup was light, slightly seasoned with a hint of sour and savoriness. We also ordered the jap chae glass noodle stir-fry which was delicious, but it was lacking in beef and a bit too oily. It had a few slices of red bell pepper, yellow onions, and green onion /scallions. The glass noodles are made from sweet potatoes and are chewy in texture, but not as chewy as the buckwheat noodles. The galbitang short beef rib soup (#26) is a light soup served hot (not spicy) with a few pieces of beef short ribs, glass noodles, white radish, and egg drop. King's Restaurant has reduced their portion of glass noodles in recent years and it's lacking substance to fill the tummy, especially with an increased price of $21.95. They do give a small bowl of white rice and 4-5 types of banchan (side dishes, like Kimchi, blanched bean sprouts, fish cake, kimchi cucumbers, blanched broccoli). Service is on the most part friendly and semi-attentive, depending on the server and if they're busy. King's is recently (2026) charging for their buckwheat Korean tea, which was previous complimentary. Ambiance is casual with booths and tables. They can host larger parties, up to 8 or so people, but it's best to call ahead to check. Free parking is plentiful, but it can get filled on the side lot nearest to the restaurant when it's busy. There's another larger parking lot adjacent to the restaurant that is never completely filled so parking should not be an issue. Would I go again-maybe. Their increased prices and smaller portions (jap chae with almost no beef and noodle dishes with a small portion of glass noodles), it's starting to give me pause, especially when I have other choices of Korean restaurants in the Twin Cities. King's is by far the most expensive Korean restaurant in the Twin Cities and their portion sizes are shrinking to where the value is lacking, especially if you're really hungry.

I came here for lunch on a weekday. I ordered a Japchae, taste amazing. The banchan that were…read morebrought out were delicious. The service was OK. The waiter seems a little judgemental when I requested that there would be no bell peppers in my Japchae. (Sorry, personal preference; don't like the taste or smell.) The tone felt a little judgy when he said, "just meat and noodles?" While I was eating, it wasn't checked on. (Maybe it is because I'm Asian?) Otherwise, it was good. I got to fulfill my Japchae needs with some banchan!
