    Shrimp pad thai

I really feel this place has potential for 5 stars. It's inside Asian Mall and fairly new but I really enjoyed it. I was shocked when they brought out complimentary miso soup and edamame. I literally said you got the wrong table, I didn't order this. I got the 3 items and ordered calamari, spicy tuna and shrimp pad Thai. The pad Thai was not my favorite but I enjoyed the other items. The price was less than $20 for everything. I'll definitely be returning but maybe try something else in place of the pad thai.

No better way to end shopping at Asia Mall than stopping in to Tuktuk Thai on the top level for some great food! The restaurant has both a Thai and sushi menu to choose from. The restaurant is clean and spacious. The sushi prices are basically unbeatable and the rolls were amazing! They also provided complimentary miso soup and edamame for the table which was an amazing bonus and great way to start our dining experience. We were seated right away and our server was attentive and quick. The sushi came out super fast and the rolls were so so so good. i was super impressed with quality, taste & presentation given how inexpensive they were. I would absolutely come back here to eat even if not planning to shop around Asia Mall! Worth checking out for sure.

As my girlfriend always gets the sushi cravings, we obviously had to try the new sushi restaurant that recently opened up at Asia Mall. Both the interior and service were splendid so I knew we'd be in for a good meal. And that has happened. We were greeted with complimentary edamame and miso soup (I love soup), which was a huge deal to me because I'd usually have to pay for these at other similar restaurants. Caring for your customer is key, you know? As those free treat got us excited, the food enhanced it. My drunken noodles were delicious, with a good amount of spice and seasoning. The noodles were chewy and nicely al-dente. I haven't tried the sushi but my girlfriend enjoyed them. 5/5 stars.

Unsure whether to choose sushi or Thai? I really appreciate their meal sets that allow you to mix and match sushi with Thai dishes at a great price. Our food came out quick and our server was very sweet and attentive with lots of room for seating. Some of the best Thai dishes i've tasted in a while. My new favorite spot for pad thai.

I'll always want to try a new-to-me Asian food place. In this case, try once and not again…read more I ordered the Lo Mein with chicken, Vegetarian Egg Rolls, Spring Rolls with shrimp, and the Yum Salad. The best thing I ate was the Spring Rolls, but I had to add my own peanut sauce because they came without. The full lettuce leaf in the roll held it together nicely in the whisper-thin wrapper. Unfortunately the rolls lacked any flavor and were mostly rice noodles and lettuce. Even the three shrimp - sliced in half - lacked flavor *and hadn't been cleaned. :O Lacking flavor was the theme for my dinner as the Lo Mein was bland and the chicken pieces overcooked and dry. I couldn't finish it. Similarly, the vegetarian Egg Rolls were terribly bland and I pitched two of the four. Finally, the Yum Salad had a nice dressing but was otherwise not worth the price.

Once we walked in we were greeted by a young girl, she gave us a menu to check out. After placing the food order, there's about 8 to 10 chairs to sit and wait. Pad thai was good, also the fried pork belly, which were nice and crispy. I wasn't sure what the jerky chips were, so we ordered them to try. It's just like beef jerky strips. We got dipping sauces for every appetizer ordered.

We were seated immediately, order taken and food to table within 10 minutes of entering the restaurants seating area. We ordered lean steak noodle/soup pho & shrimp summer rolls. The chicken was separate from the sauce when we received the meal, the chicken was nice and crispy and tender that way. Not a brown sauce, more of a sweet and sour sauce. The lo mein was decent, but did have the thin narrow noodles. Flavor was good. Disappointing part was the pho. The flavor was good, however the noodles were not cooked. I know the broth is supposed to cook the noodles, but when it's delivery, there's no way that broth will be boiling enough to cook the noodles. I finally had to put the noodles in a bowl with broth and cook it for 2 mins before they were softened enough to eat. The veggies and the lean beef were great! Meatballs were ok, but were better when I also cooked them/warmed them up. I also paid for extra hoisin and siracha and did not get it. I also clicked for utensils and there were none in the bag.

One of the best things is that you can raise the food from the broth so you don't have to dig for it. We ended up trying almost everything plus some apps (also included). There are some guidelines on the table for how long to cook the food and they are somewhat accurate. Some of the vegetables took longer and some of the meat should have been shorter but we finally caught on. We loved the multitude of mushroom options. And the seafood was very good. The spicy broth is indeed spicy (not MN hot - spicy). We cooked many items in spicy and then mixed that and another broth for our bowls. That worked great. Parking in the lot really fills up in the evening.

Once seated, your greeted with a tall cold glass of water, a small cup for your complimentary hot tea. The menu is a bit large so I recommend maybe reviewing it prior to sitting or coming in to eat, to help save time and not feel rushed to order. I ordered the lobster sticky rice plate. It's a seasonally priced item on their menu. As of April 5th, the price was around $72.00 for a full lobster. It was steamed I think, then what I find odd but unique is the chef chopped up the lobster while still in it's shell then mixed the sticky rice and scrambled eggs with it, onto a large serving plate. It looks nice and delicious. I thought the lobster would've been de-shelled. So if you don't want to mess with the lobster shell maybe ask if they can exclude it from your dish. Highly recommend eating here, the prices are decent on the regular things and the food tastes awesome!
