    Shrimp pad thai

I really feel this place has potential for 5 stars. It's inside Asian Mall and fairly new but I really enjoyed it. I was shocked when they brought out complimentary miso soup and edamame. I literally said you got the wrong table, I didn't order this. I got the 3 items and ordered calamari, spicy tuna and shrimp pad Thai. The pad Thai was not my favorite but I enjoyed the other items. The price was less than $20 for everything. I'll definitely be returning but maybe try something else in place of the pad thai.

No better way to end shopping at Asia Mall than stopping in to Tuktuk Thai on the top level for some great food! The restaurant has both a Thai and sushi menu to choose from. The restaurant is clean and spacious. The sushi prices are basically unbeatable and the rolls were amazing! They also provided complimentary miso soup and edamame for the table which was an amazing bonus and great way to start our dining experience. We were seated right away and our server was attentive and quick. The sushi came out super fast and the rolls were so so so good. i was super impressed with quality, taste & presentation given how inexpensive they were. I would absolutely come back here to eat even if not planning to shop around Asia Mall! Worth checking out for sure.

As my girlfriend always gets the sushi cravings, we obviously had to try the new sushi restaurant that recently opened up at Asia Mall. Both the interior and service were splendid so I knew we'd be in for a good meal. And that has happened. We were greeted with complimentary edamame and miso soup (I love soup), which was a huge deal to me because I'd usually have to pay for these at other similar restaurants. Caring for your customer is key, you know? As those free treat got us excited, the food enhanced it. My drunken noodles were delicious, with a good amount of spice and seasoning. The noodles were chewy and nicely al-dente. I haven't tried the sushi but my girlfriend enjoyed them. 5/5 stars.

Unsure whether to choose sushi or Thai? I really appreciate their meal sets that allow you to mix and match sushi with Thai dishes at a great price. Our food came out quick and our server was very sweet and attentive with lots of room for seating. Some of the best Thai dishes i've tasted in a while. My new favorite spot for pad thai.

The best thing I ate was the Spring Rolls, but I had to add my own peanut sauce because they came without. The full lettuce leaf in the roll held it together nicely in the whisper-thin wrapper. Unfortunately the rolls lacked any flavor and were mostly rice noodles and lettuce. Even the three shrimp - sliced in half - lacked flavor *and hadn't been cleaned. :O Lacking flavor was the theme for my dinner as the Lo Mein was bland and the chicken pieces overcooked and dry. I couldn't finish it. Similarly, the vegetarian Egg Rolls were terribly bland and I pitched two of the four. Finally, the Yum Salad had a nice dressing but was otherwise not worth the price.

Once we walked in we were greeted by a young girl, she gave us a menu to check out. After placing the food order, there's about 8 to 10 chairs to sit and wait. Pad thai was good, also the fried pork belly, which were nice and crispy. I wasn't sure what the jerky chips were, so we ordered them to try. It's just like beef jerky strips. We got dipping sauces for every appetizer ordered.

My go to order is the House Special Pho and the egg rolls, both are so flavorful and never disappoint. The portions are huge, so you definitely get your money's worth. They also serve a side of chili that you can add to your pho, which is a nice touch, although I'd love if they kept chili on the tables for convenience. I'm already looking forward to coming back to try the Bún Bò Huế and one of their bánh mì sandwiches. Another bonus is being able to browse the Asia Mart and pick up groceries or snacks after enjoying lunch. It's the perfect combination of a great meal and a fun shopping trip. After the first bite I knew it was way over salted but I was in a hurry. I thought if I added enough rice, it would be edible. It wasn't. I thought if I added enough lime it would be edible. I had to ask for lime and they brought me one entire wedge! It didn't help. It's possible they added some other seasoning to the salad but all I could taste was the salt. There was definitely no heat (chili pepper). There was mint but some of the leaves were black and rotten. I told the server the salad was way too salty. She said she would tell the chef so they would prepare it differently for me next time. There will be no next time.

I always find my saucy noodle/rice deliveries have greasy dishes or spilled/sticky sauces but everything was packaged extremely well. The Pad Thai has fantastic flavor, the veggies are crisp and fresh, and the peanuts add the perfect little crunch. Add a twist of lime and you're in business for the next three days of lunch or dinner. The cream cheese wontons were mediocre, I wish there was more wrapper to kinda soak up some of that cream cheese but it has a good flavor and I love the dipping sauce. The eggroll wasn't my favorite but I'm not huge on eggrolls to begin with but they look really good and they're perfectly crispy. Now, the Vietnamese coffee cannot be slept on. Order it every single time, just trust me. Creamy, bold flavor but it doesn't feel like you're drinking a cup of creamer. I'd go back for the coffee and Pad Thai once a week if I could.
