This park is near my home and I've started coming here about 4 years ago. The park then was well maintained , no trash or overgrown brush however of lately there seems to be a lack of care. We stumbled upon this park and so happy we did. It is located in the historic View Park neighborhood on Mount Vernon Drive. It has the most stunning views. There's plenty of street parking or you can park below in a designated parking lot to start walking on the trails. You can't beat the views!! read more

Pretty legit for what it is which is just a strip of land in the neighborhood. But it overlooks all of Baldwin/Ladera. There's some benches and workout equipment but nowhere you can say have a picnic. Just a 0.4 mile track to walk around. And of course the lovely view. read more

Be careful, y'all. As of recently, this park is having an infestation of flees, spiders and mosquitoes. I go there to work out often and just 2 days ago, I was badly bit 4 times. Big mosquitoes bit me in 4 areas of my body. I also saw flees by the work out machine near the water fountain. As I sat there working out, about 10 flees covered my feet. I quickly got them off me and left. They need to spray that park down and cut those big trees. It's infested with hungry bugs. Beware people, stay safe! read more

I've gone off and on for over a decade. It does not disappoint. Easy parking along the street. Beautiful views of downtown LA and the parks below. Some views looking far West. Run counter-clockwise to get the slight elevation. This is such a great park and I was very impressed with the maintenance and cleanliness of the park. Quiet. Most people were seniors so I dominated the park by running. Best of all,people were friendly. People greet,smile and say good things. Yeah,I was the only Asian then I realized where I was. Oh well,yelp helped me find this place. The views were awesome! Next time,I would jump rope too. The rubber trails are perfect! I could run more but the sun was already hurting me. I have always seen people walking or running on this little section on top of a hill from Kenneth Hanh and a little park across the way. I decided to take a little trip to this location. Great spot to jog, walk, run where they have a little trail that oversees Stocker St and the neighboring parks. The park is very clean, a lot of people walking around, great space to go exerxise. They are actually bulinding a bottom oortion to this park, very excited to see how it looks. read more

Great little location atop of View Park/Windsor Hills area. I typically come here to get a few laps on the track while taking in the breeze and the views of the city. Lately, I've been here to just read a book and clear my mind. This is the place for all that. You could even people watch here depending on what time you arrive, it's usually filled with older folks in the morning and the evenings. I love the accessibility of this park. If exercising is what you want you can just pull up any time of the day/night. There have been times I've been here at midnight to run. I don't recommend coming to relax and enjoy the view too late though, as they are some freaky looking animals that patrol the area at that time. Also, it gets really chilly. read more

Thanks to Yelp I may have just found my favorite little park in Los Angeles! My first time stumbling into this park I felt like the only salmon swimming against everyone else. Is there an unwritten rule about going around counter-clockwise? Why was I the ONLY person walking clockwise? I do think I get a better view clockwise, but I think the slightly more strenuous way is to go counter-clockwise when you get more of an elevation to "challenge" yourself. If you're looking for a jog/walk with SYNTHETIC track, good view, EASY parking, cute gas lamps, clean and beautifully maintained garden.... then you've come to the right place! I like how even at 9pm there are still plenty of people exercising in the park doing yoga and their after-dinner walks to make me feel safe to run around at night. And did I mention how easy street parking is in this area??? And the garden!! The beautifully maintained gorgeous garden in the middle of the track! There were some kind of fruit trees and just gorgeous flowers and trees everywhere to refresh you after a long day. The track is nicely labeled with signs letting you know that one lap = 0.4 miles, and that three laps = 1.2 miles, and six laps = 2.4 miles, and you can do the math for everything in-between and after. This is a great park if you want to enjoy the outdoors and connect with nature when you want to get your run/jog/walk on. It has a nice rubber track which is a rare find, and little exercise stops going around the loop. It's peaceful, and for the most part you don't have to worry about rowdy people. The only downside (which I find very annoying and inconsiderate) are the private "trainers" and coaches who bring large groups of people and equipment to workout. One night my Zen was ruined by several coaches, parents, and about 40 kids who decided to make a walking park their training spot for the evening...simply ratchet (sigh)! At some point when I have nothing better to do with my life, I'll have to contact the city about this, because a sign definitely needs to go up. But back to the positives...The park is well lit in the evening and there is always a decent amount of people there between 6-8:15pm. In the mornings there are lots of seniors enjoying the park, which I think is pretty cool. The park is safe, and there is ample street parking. 030/100 read more

There are very few public rubber tracks in the LA area. I was looking specifically for a rubber track to help out when I was recovering from a knee injury but still training for an upcoming half-marathon. Reuben Ingold Park is a great place to work out as the track is clean, well-maintained, and you get a great view from the top of the hill. There are also stations located around the track for other exercises and stretches. The one downside is that there is no restroom. If you're driving, you could make a quick pit-stop by the nearby Norman Houston Park, which has public restrooms. read more

Small, well maintained track. Arrived close to 4pm for my first jog here. It was populated with more people walking than running so you will need to dodge through small groups to keep your pace. Track is easy on your feet but does have a measurable incline that is noticeable. However great views...and did contain two outdoor fitness equipment stations. read more

I love this little track. I used to come here often as a kid, but they've done a lot of remodeling since my Windsor Hills Elementary School days lol. The views of the city are amazing, especially at night! I think 4 times around and you've done a mile. It's nice and clean, you can tell that it's well maintained because I've never seen trash thrown about or the rosemary bushes overgrown. It's also pretty safe- you'll catch lots of families strolling around at night! It's in a pretty good neighborhood so the police patrol regularly. Just note that although it's called a park, there's no swings or apparatuses to play on lol. Just a cool track with a few work out stations and benches to chill on :). It's okay in the day but I recommend coming at night. Of course, they don't call this area View Park for nothing! You can come to View Park, to Catch the Fresh Views while rocking out to Drakes Views ROFL! That was corny as Hell, but I had to do it smh. read more

Loved this walking/running track. Very well kept, clean, and safe. It's in a residential area and there's a good amount of people walking at any given time. The foliage is beautiful, they have done a good job with the gardening. You get a nice view of la Cienega. The reason it got four stars, no restrooms. Not everyone lives down the street. read more
