Culver City Park is a community park with multiple levels of access. The park amenities include Ropes Course Concession, Interpretive Nature Trail, and Trail Access to the Baldwin Hills Overlook. It's a popular park for children and bbq events.

WHAT A GEM! Frustrated from our attempt to get into the Kenneth Hahn park (parking was impossible!) we drove along Jefferson and came across an entrance to this park at the intersection of Jefferson and Duquesne. We turned in and there was plenty of parking - later we found there seem to be many lots in different parts of the park. A very nice red wooden pathway leads you to the top of the park - easy walk with gentle slope and nice views at every turn. So, instant gratification within minutes from you get off your car!! That's my kind of outing! After the picturesque pathway, you come to an old baseball field - you don't see many like this, not any more in plastic Westside. A dirt path, unpaved, takes you around to another baseball field... with city lookout spots scattered along the way. We spent about an hour wandering around. This seemingly unintentional and un-designed is a contrast to the congested order down below, and therefore, relaxing and refreshing. After the baseball fields, there is a small gate that takes you into the adjacent Baldwin Hills Scenic Lookout, another gem that offers unobstructed/expansive views of the city down below.

great little park, mostly with baseball field with good small walking bridge and the view of the city of Los angeles is amazing.. good place to just waste time...

It seems like people come here for two reasons - either to enjoy the park and surrounding scenery, or to sit in their parked car and smoke weed. I didn't realize that was still a thing. Anyways, a good spot overall and recommended stop if you have some time to spend.

Decent park, went there once for Skateside Skatefest. Nothing spectacular, but parking was available on the Duquesne Ave

This park is surprisingly cute with very good climbing equipment for older kids. Most parks cater to younger kids. This one has a young kid structure and sand/water play area, but it's bigger kid area really shines. The climbing gym was challenging for me, LOL. I could not resist. Big Kid Area: Rock climbing cubes, large rope climbing structure, rope monkey bars, 3 levels of chairs to climb, a rope merry go around, a plain plastic merry go around, 2 unique spinners Little Kid: Standard double slide structure, 3 bouncy seated thing, 2 baby swings Water/Sand structure in it's own circle of sand Skate park is adjacent, along with lots of picnic table and a good size grassy patch for the kids to plan on. Parking was easy on a very overcast day. This is a park worth driving 15 minutes or less to get to. We were eating lunch in the area, made a wrong turn, and ran into it. Definitely worth stopping in for 20 minutes like we did. My son really enjoyed himself.

Culver City really has a good thing going between Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook and it's neighbor Culver City Park. Despite the recent move to add meters to many of the parking spots at Culver City Park, it still offers the Jefferson neighborhood a natural leisure playground for the whole family. * Entrance to the Park is off Jefferson at Duquesne * Culver City Park is over 41 acres on a hill. Just climbing the hill is exercise * Parking is at Jefferson, along the park street, or at 4 lots in the park * As of today, most parking spots are free. * Culver City Skate Park is on Jefferson and busy * Just as busy is the The Boneyard Dog Park about a 1/3 of the way up * Picnic areas, a Hut, Barbeques, and restrooms are in the park. * Near the top are 1 Soccer, 1 Baseball, 3 Softball fields * A small playground for the little ones is near the skate park. * A pair of small half-court Basketball courts don't get used enough * The views from the upper parking lot is impressive at sunset * Use a "secret trail" near the top to access Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook From top to bottom and back to the top, Culver City Park is a great community park for those looking to have fun, play, relax, play with your dog, or exercise.

Ask the Community - Culver City Park

Is there pull up bars at this park?

There is no exorcise equipment area at this park.

How early would I have to get there to get a bbq picnic spot?

Depends. Different at lower park vs upper park. The upper park is also effected by little league games. Best to visit a week or two in advance to check out what is offered.

Do you get cell phone service while on the nature trails?

    Nope, only with Verizon!

This park is the perfect escape from the city, whether you're looking for a scenic hike, a place to bird watch, a picnic spot, or just somewhere to unwind outdoors. We enjoyed it so much that we came back two weekends in a row. Both visits consisted of finding a shady spot, throwing down a blanket, reading, and simply relaxing. It was exactly what we needed. The grounds are beautiful, with plenty of open space, walking paths, mature trees, and peaceful water features. Everywhere you look there seems to be another picturesque view. On our second visit, we discovered the Hummingbird Garden, which ended up being one of the highlights of the park. The area is filled with feeders and absolutely buzzing with wildlife. We saw hummingbirds darting between flowers and feeders, along with bees, songbirds, lizards, and squirrels. Nature lovers will be in heaven. One word of advice: keep an eye on the ground while you're walking. There was so much wildlife activity that it was easy to spot lizards and even baby squirrels scurrying around underfoot. Parking was straightforward and cost $10 for the day, with discounted admission available for service members. Whether you're looking for a quiet afternoon in nature, a family outing, or a place to reconnect with the outdoors, Kenneth Hahn is well worth a visit. I'll definitely be back--probably sooner rather than later.

I would not call it a "hidden gem" because that phrase is overused, but it really does feel like having your own private park. When you are there, it almost feels like it is part of an HOA, with how quiet and well kept it is. There is security nearby, which adds to the sense of safety. It would be a great place for toddlers and younger kids. There is space for them to move around and play without feeling like you are in a crowded public park. They have a basketball court where you can play or shoot around, and there are picnic tables where you can sit, eat, or just hang out.
