Not worth the $17.00 per person to get up here. Then you order gin and tonic and they come and tell you they are out of tonic. It's a freaking bar for christsake. Then you change to a margarita like the wife so you spen $21.65 for two mediocre margaritas. So you spend $38.65 for two lousy drinks, but at least you get a good view. What a great view of Dallas. Went during the day but would love to return at night. It's nice and relaxing to sit in the revolving lounge area and have a drink. The beer prices are reasonable and they had a nice selection. The upper floor had an interactive touch screen that you can spend hours on learning about the suronding skyline. They also have an outdoor observation platform to get some fresh air. If you go, my advice is to plan on several hours and take your time. read more

If you are visiting Dallas I'd recommend visiting Reunion Tower first since they have these cool touchscreens that among other things will show you how far different attractions are from the Tower. We went there for dinner, fully expecting a tourist trap with only the tower being the salient recommendation. The food and service as well as the drinks were quite good, bordering on excellent. We arrived at sunset and the experience of the rotation of the tower just improved. Would we go back? Certainly if we have family visiting; as it is quite an impressive facility. Booked a "love is in the air" package at 8:30 before dinner at 9:30 for New Years. Seemed unorganized and associates were clearly not all on the same page about the package. Got to dinner at 9:30 for our 6 course meal and orders were coming out back to back so it seemed a little rushed at first. Was given wristbands to watch the firework show in their "VIP" area but when we finally got down to 1st floor, the fire marshall had already closed all exits and we were forced to stay and watch the firework show inside from the bar area...... very very disappointing, especially after how much we spent. I do not recommend the love is in the air package but it seems we wouldn't of been able to reserve a table at the restaurant without purchasing the package, funny how that happened. Very disappointing. Won't ever do it again, and again, do not recommend. read more

Great place to visit. A lot of these types of places rush you out or try to sell you a ton of souvenirs. The Reunion Tower doesn't do that. It's a great spot to hang out and look at the city. We spent a lot of time up there and enjoyed every minute. read more

Great view. We went an hour before sunset to enjoy both day and evening views and the sunset. Had a beer and the kids had a soda at a comfortable table. We took our time, was thoroughly enjoyable and worth it. Worth mentioning that 2 sodas and 2 beers were $10 - not sure if we are used to being overcharged but we were so happy with such a reasonable price. Would go again. read more

Took the wife here for her birthday. Got a res. around sunset time so we could watch the sun go down and then the light of down town to come on. We had the 6 course dinner. I had the quail. It was so good I dont know if ill even try anything else. This is super romantic and great atmosphere. Be prepared to spend some money but the food and experience was worth it. Our waiter reminded us of one of our favorite actors which we had a fun time with him about it. They really cater you there. Must love heights. The Geo Deck (the viewing deck's name), is a state-of-the-art exhibit that I would recommend to anyone visiting Dallas, or those, like me, who have lived here and never went. Would have liked to go to Five Sixty but the elevator man looked us up and down, kind of sneered, and said he didn't think our dress would "fit in" with everybody up there. Haven't been made to feel that put down in quite some time. Our dress wasn't dirty or anything...wow. Even if there is a dress code he didn't have to be snobby and rude about it. read more

It's been a few years since we've been to the top of Reunion Tower, and on a whim we decided to take a ride to the top since it was a nice fall afternoon. We went to purchase our tickets, which if I recall used to be in the $5 range. We both started laughing when she rang us up and asked for $34 for two people. Add on the $6 we paid to park, and you really want me to pay $40 for a view of DALLAS? No thank you. We spent that money on things of value at the Farmers Market and had a great time there. read more

My family and I just did the view from the tower. The view is absolutely stunning. You get a 360. The ride up the elevator is also very quick. Oh and they take a picture for you before you head up. They give the options to use props as well. It's a nice little addition to the trip. read more

Went on Spring Break and took my son 7 years old and my nephews, 10 and 5 yo! The kids weren't that impressed! It is 42 floors up and isn't the tallest building in Dallas but you can get some great pictures of Downtown Dallas. We were there no more that 20 minutes and the boys were ready to leave! read more

Average just because Dallas doesn't have that many scyscrapers. You can see the buildings by driving around some elevated highways. Very expensive unless you use the Groupon available for winter. My husband and I did a double date with his brother and girl for my birthday May 2nd. We both as separate parties had to pay I believe $126 or $146 which included about a 2-3 minute elevator ride with people telling you about the tower but it was so scripted seems like. After we got to the top (The Observation Deck). We were able to walk around the ball outside by ourselves but once we came back in that was pretty much it as far as this "Tower" goes. We scheduled reservations at Five Sixty which we only ended up staying just for the experience. 30 minute wait to move to a table where we could order. 30 minutes for our waiter to actually take our order. 1 hour before our food arrived to the table. Really wish i would've went somewhere else honestly for the food. But the experience for the Love is in the Air Package- *sh***y, VERY RUSHED. You get souvenir pictures that they take before you go on the elevator (green screened) which is okay, I guess but for a hundred and something dollars you expect a real live outside picture you know. I heard about the elevator wait, not sure if those people get to walk around or not but If those people can, then $17 is really honestly all you should do. The packages are "rip-offs". Not to mention we originally wanted to schedule reservations at Cloud Nine but for some odd reason this one has specific days or some other crap. Anyways.. might take my children one day whenever Cloud Nine is open with food that they would eat. Other than that the reunion tower is over-rated. Oh-- and forgot about the sleazy valet overcharging people saying $10-$15 per car. A nice lady who was doing a prom was nice enough to tell us to get our money back but yea-- . This is your typical touristy over priced landmark in the same vein of Chicago 360 at the Hancock building in Chicago, or the CN Tower in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. You get amazing views of the city, there are a ton of touch screen computers to explore the city with and overpriced snacks and drinks are offered. There are also several tables and chairs setup around the interior to hang out at. One visit is enough, but if you have never been, it is worth the trip. read more

Once up at the top it was interesting. Best to go at sunset or night. We pulled up to valet and asked which entrance was best for the tower. All 8 valets had no clue what we we talking about and directed us to park in another pay lot for $10. After parking in said lot, we walked all the way back to valet area and entered the hotel. We could have valet'd car. Once in hotel it was hectic. No signs directing us to tower. Had to find a hotel employee to guide us. The fee is steep for a quick day trip that's why you should save it for evening. The restaurant at the top we wanted to get soufflé at was closed until dinner. Another let down. So the view was of a busy city , not impressive or moving in any way. Would not suggest it on your trip to Dallas unless you go at night. I'm sure it's awesome at night. read more

I had been to the restaurant twice before and had a great experience - fabulous food, great view, terrific service. I was excited to have my husband try it, and took him and one of our friends there for dinner the other night to celebrate both of their birthdays. I have never been so disappointed. I am wondering if they got a new chef - dishes that I had before did not taste good at all (includng the chocolate souffle, which was wonderful when I had it a few months ago - it was dry and tasteless) and everyone was unhappy with the food. We went last Wednesday. So worth the money! The new remodel is Awesome!! We went to the GeODeck. It is Awesome! There are alot of touch screens around the place. You see 3-D maps of the DFW metroplex. And a video of the JFK assassination. We did not get to go to the café. Pix is pretty cool. They take your picture in front of a green screen. Then you go up to the GeO Deck and scan your ticket at one of the kiosks and you can have it emailed to you, or you can print one out. ( which costs more money). I would prefer email. 5 s to Reunion Tower. It was a great experience. Then, we went up to Cloud 9 (conventionally not listed on yelp for a review by the way). We made a full rotation and then some before we got our food. The manager said all of their food is made fresh and to be patient. Really? Don't all restaurants make fresh food. That was his first excuse. The second was better - we didn't expect the crowds!!! Once again really???? Huge landmark on a holiday weekend? Piss poor planning and ineffective restaurant management is what I call it.
