I have always heard of this coffee shop but finally had the chance to visit on a weekday morning. Upon pulling up, the front parking lot was filled to capacity but I was delighted to find plenty of parking in the back of the store. It was a short 4 minute walk where I was able to spot some Beautiful murals and some street art. The outside of the store has a lot of outdoor seating and I also noticed some dog bowls. The entrance was beautifully decorated and welcoming. When I entered, I was shocked by how spacious it was inside. There are a variety of different seating styles from bar stools to traditional seats to couches. It was very inviting with the colorful array of art decorations seen on the walls. Noise level was moderate with conversations and light feel-good music. I went straight to the merchandise counter to look at the freshly roasted beans. Almost instantly, a worker came up to me to ask if I had questions. He recommended the Mexico expresso beans (which I cannot wait to try). I also ordered the chicken biscuit ($3) and the cold brew coffee and the items came out very quickly. The work flow is great and efficient and there is hardly a wait. The chicken biscuit was not that great-- the meat seemed to melt in my mouth and did not feel hardy like meat should taste. The biscuit, however, was soft and crumbly. The cold brew was refreshing, crisp and had a nice dark after taste. In general, this was a great coffee shop to come and relax, do some stuff and check out some local roasted coffee beans. If you come here to study then I apologize. I come here to socialize and contribute the constant buzz of chatter. It wasn't until I came here to study myself I realized the need for some people to quiet down, or as the internet would say, "stfu!" Rev is a cool spot and a great relief from the typical chain coffee shops. Their coffee is bold and flavorful, they have delightful pastries, and there's a good amount of seating inside. FYI if you're meeting with a large group you can actually reserve a table in advance! Just like most coffee shops there's free wifi. There's also a parking lot in the back. Occassionally they have events here too, like poetry slams or something...idk I've seen the flyers but havent actually attended one. Anyways, come here you wont regret it! Note: I recommend coming during the week, sometimes the weekends gets obnoxiously crowded and it can be hard to handle. read more

A lot of coffee shops I've visited recently take a minimalist approach when decorating. As long as the coffee is good, I'm ok with that. But man, there is something to be said about the character of a coffee shop. Rev Coffee...its got character. Rev Coffee is located in an old garage surrounded by other working garages. Naturally, when it came to naming and decorating, Rev Coffee embraced their garage self. The coffee shop features a lot of car part art and a coffee machine that looks like the front end of a classic car. It's not just car parts that adorn this shop though. The inside walls are covered with art work for sale from local artists, there is a huge mural on the side of building and coffee art covers the parking lot. It is obvious someone at Rev Coffee has an artist's eye. So, what about the coffee? Not bad. My wife ordered her go to drink, an iced mocha, and was very impressed with it. Her exact words were "Other than what I make at home, this is the best mocha I've had." I went with an iced latte with almond milk. Some lattes are way more milk than coffee and I'm not a fan of those. Rev Coffee definitely does not have that issue. Their latte was coffee heavy. To go with the drinks, my wife and I split a decent hummus "adult lunchable" (hummus, carrots, cucumber, crackers) and my kids got a chocolate chip cookie. Rev Coffee has a merchandise shelf right by the register with lots of swell stuff. It is the kind of stuff I've not seen elsewhere. Like three different Rev beverage bottles (Nalgene, steel), a few different t-shirts, coffee merch and their roasted coffee beans. Seriously, I could've spent a lot more money here than I did. I really loved the vibe at Rev, definitely give them a try! The scone that we had was BEYOND AMAZING. Like super delicious - had a great texture (softer not crunchy), so well deserved there. The only thing that was a drawback for me is that they don't make their coffee flavorings in house -- except for their honey syrup. All in all, we had a great customer service, very friendly baristas, and it didn't take too long to receive our order even though it was a busy day! Nice atmosphere and service; however, the food was less than stellar in my opinion. I ordered the spinach florentine w/ bacon quiche, caramel crunch cookie and fire on mango smoothie. The quiche was flavorless and had no crust. Who wants a quiche without the crust? That is what takes it to a whole different level than just an average omelette. I felt like I was eating a vegan version of a quiche. The smoothie tasted like they just purchased the Naked brand smoothie and sold it as their own. There was no heat added. The cookie was okay. It tasted more like a macadamia nut cookie rather than caramel crunch. If you are looking for a nice place to chill I would recommend; however, I would say avoid the food and smoothies. Great spot! It's hard to find good coffee shops around here that aren't hyped up for no reason. Got the iced scarecrow latte with almond milk and the turkey sandwich. Both were delicious. The latte wasn't too sweet either, which I appreciated because I usually have to ask for half the amount of pumps most places use. Rev Coffee is a cozy coffee shop located in a converted garage, which makes for a perfect quiet study space. With an extensive latte menu, I loved the toffee latte. They also have great tea and dirty chai latte is also very good. The shop also offers a limited savory menu and plenty of seating. Free WiFi and ample outlets make it an excellent work/study space. They also have a parking lot in the back/side to accommodate guests. If you're looking for a well-balanced cup of coffee, Rev Coffee is the perfect spot in the Atlanta metropolitan area. P.S. Tons of indoor seating space with outlets spread around, lots of parking in the front and back, and really nice local artist vibes. I came here to work for a few hours one morning and got an espresso over ice and veggie quiche. Neither were something I would streak through the streets for but the quiche was a quality portion for it's price. The coffee was a little acidic for me and had an after taste I didn't really enjoy. It tasted like a medium or light roast rather than a dark, almost. Just acidic, watery and a little burnt. There is one restroom and the outlets do not work inside so don't bring your straightener to fix your cowlicks here. The wifi is strong and it is a good local working spot but would not recommend as a must visit coffee shop for environment, aesthetic and quality espresso. The staff were all funny and really nice working together or talking to the regulars in front of me but with people they didn't know were a little distant and less welcoming. All in all, not a bad place but not a place I'd highly recommend. read more

Walking into Joe's, you are immediately greeted with the aroma of freshly ground coffee beans. The shop has a warm and inviting atmosphere. It's small, but comfortable. The service is wonderful and the coffee is great. I love the holiday specialty drinks. I tried the Scaregrow and the Great White Pumpkin. Both were really yummy. I love the environment at Revv, but I have been disappointed lately with my coffee. I try different flavored lattes each time I go, substitute milk with almond milk, but lately it's been a let down. Not sure why the quality/taste is lacking, maybe because they are so busy??? ( it's always packed there ). Unfortunately, I would rather drink my coffee from home than gamble again and save the 8ish dollars! Sucks because as I said, I love the vibe there, the art displayed/for sale is awesome and the staff is very friendly. For this reason (the vibe) I will probably go and get a green tea instead. I tried Rev Coffee for the first time recently. It's a small, but nice looking coffee shop off Spring Rd in Smyrna. I've always seen them, but never tried them. I've been trying to support small businesses as much as I can during this time. I ordered through their app. I ordered a sf hazelnut latte with skim milk. They have a 5 minute pick up parking spot in the front of the shop which I utilized. I did enjoy my latte as it wasn't super sweet plus I got sugar free so I knew my carbs and sugars weren't too over the top. I'm not an avid coffee drinker but it appeared that it was a mild roast blend they used, which I liked because I don't care for the coffee taste to be too strong. I just know what I like and it tasted good to me lol. I would say their prices are comparable to chain coffee places like Starbucks, perhaps a bit cheaper as I got a 16 oz which was under $5 and that's what I'm usually paying for a 12 oz at Starbucks. When I got there I didn't have to wait at all. My order was ready and I just walked in, picked it up, and was on my way. The staff greeted me with a warm welcome and goodbye. I'm thankful it was a quick and easy process as I had to get back to work that was near, but not super close. From looking at there menu they have an array of options to choose from and I'd love to go back and try some of the other things on their menu. read more

I want to give a big shoutout to the staff at Rev coffee for being consistently awesome. Two times now (once with myself and once with a stranger), I've been or seen a mom with kids struggling with a mess that was just made. Once the staff knew about the issue, someone immediately began to help out AND offered a replacement of whatever had just been spilled. I'm a mom of twin toddlers. People helping mothers in situations like this is HUGE and is a make-or-break moment for the entire day. I really appreciate Rev being family-friendly and welcoming to us moms in this way. Also - the homemade pastries continue to be awesome, and I recently found new drink favorites: the churro latte (yeah, I know it's basic, but it's delicious!) and the peppermint sage herbal tea (a perfect cooling herbal infusion for summer!). This coffee shop is great for hanging out and pretending to be working. Every time I'm here it's super busy and packed with people. I'm not sure if I can park in the shop next door's lot but I do anyway and hope they won't tow my Asian butt on out of here. Always solid and friendly service here regardless of the time of day or how many people are in line. The coffee here is pretty solid. Sometimes these places can be more atmospheric than substance but Rev is no such place.....and they got yummy sugary treats for the sweet tooth out there. I have passed this spot a million times and finally decided to stop. The place is very charming. I love the decorations and the fact the tables aren't tight. The coffee is good and so are the cinnamon rolls. You have to try it if you go. It's soft, not sweet and with a small hint of cinnamon. This item is DELISH! The coffee is smooth and feels good going down. I typically drink my coffee black with less than a teaspoon of sugar. The staff is very friendly and you don't have to wait long for your order. This has to be one of the best coffee shops located in Smyrna! Conveniently located on Spring Rd just minutes from 285 Interstate. Staff is very friendly and efficient! Bonus points and kudos! There is a list of signature coffees to try along with some delicious baked goods. My go to treat is their warmed chocolate chip cookie which just oozes chocolateness when the cookie is broken and separated. Mmmmmm!! Yesterday I tried the Snickerdoodle latte which was delightfully good and my partner in crime tried the firestarter latte, which had a sprinkle of cayenne pepper to add to he heat! Adequate seating both inside and out if you go on a day when there are not too many WiFi campers. Outside is pet friendly if you want to bring your fur babies! Definite plus! Another great coffee shop find! I love exploring local cafes whenever I'm traveling and Rev coffee didn't disappoint. They have a decent sized interior with ample seating both indoor and outdoor. They are pet friendly and seem to have a lot of frequent fliers which means they are a local favorite. Parking was surprisingly easy as they have a lot out back that has extra parking spots. Now for the goods- I tried their vegetarian quiche and latte. The quiche was delicious. It was filled with red peppers, mushrooms, cheese and spinach. The latte was great as well. I love when I can taste the warmth from the roast of the espresso married harmoniously with creaminess of the steamed milk. While I was sitting there, I also overheard a couple orders of overnight oats so that would be something I'd try next time. This was our first time at Rev Coffee. We were just about to go to that other coffee place, when the husbae said, "let's try some place different". Y'all know I'm always consulting Yelp because my family never disappoints me. Well, Rev came up and so we went. The husbae had the Americano and I had a Mocha. Let me tell y'all how good that mocha was. At that other place I never drink an entire tall mocha but this Rev Coffee mocha was gone in about 30 minutes, no cap. The husbae was like, "I can't believe it, call the paramedics." He got jokes. Honestly y'all, the coffee is great! It's also a happening spot because it was packed inside and out.
