We had reached out to a few other coordinators and after we got off our discovery call with Christine, we quickly agreed that she was the perfect fit for us. Our venue was a "blank canvas" venue meaning they don't provide anything and it's up to you to do everything yourself, so we were planning on taking on several DIY projects. Christine never made us feel uncomfortable or awkward about our plans for doing a lot of the design for the space ourselves. I found Christine on Instagram, and within 10 minutes of talking to her, I knew she was the perfect coordinator for us! Threshold Event Co was originally recommended to us by our photographer. We spoke to a handful of planners, but it was so easy to choose Christine. She made us feel like she was genuinely excited to be a part of our wedding, even though we were only looking for month-of coordination. Plus, she didn't have any of the hourly limits or overtime charges that some other planners have. Throughout the planning process (well before the date she was supposed to really jump in), she went above and beyond by answering tons of random questions for me. As the date approached, we had our handoff meeting in which we walked through the entire day in minute detail. It was incredibly helpful to have her take me through the day and identify the gaps that I had not yet addressed. It's hard to know what you don't know, so her expertise was invaluable here. In our walk-through with some of our vendors and our venue liaison, several people commented on how meticulously detailed her plan was. When you hear that from other people who work in the wedding industry, you know it's a real compliment! When the big day arrived, Christine HUSTLED all day to make it perfect for us. Even when hair & makeup went long and threw off our pre-ceremony timeline, she and our photographer re-worked the timeline so we didn't miss out on anything we had wanted to do. She handled everything from the big picture (timeline, ensuring the correct ceremony setup, etc) to the tiniest of details (like being ready with a glass of water for us after our first dance). Even though our timeline was thrown off, the whole day felt like it was going exactly as it should have. I was so stress-free the entire day. I knew that Christine knew my vision inside and out and that she would execute it flawlessly - and she did. After the wedding, everyone kept remarking about how smoothly the day had run and how they could tell that every detail had been attended to.
