Revel Ripoff Scooter!!!
Ben S.

Everything went fine until I found out I didn't tap the $15 all day button, (that they maliciously hid to my demise) Which voided the discount; and I get gouged for in the end. You can damn near rent a car for $60. So boycott this B.S. company. Kinda sucks now, because I wanted to use it daily. Untruthful fine-print Revel Scooters. It will only be a matter of time before the J-Katz start ripping them apart and or hide them in buildings and dumpsters.

It's parked over 3-4days and taking neighborhood spaces with 4 bikes.

Sorry I know it's a business and it's not business fault. But your business definitely need to work on this. . It's been taking street parking because people parked it so messy and never moved. It's taking our neighborhood spaces. When I checked the bike,I even saw there's street cleaning ticket on it. As California Vehicle Code 22651(k) states, a vehicle is only allowed to park in the same spot on a public street for up to 72 hours. I'm sorry for the business, but it's not acceptable

So, family came to town and I suggested we get some scooters and do a tour around town! We opted for the all day pass so we could park and pause the ride, walk around, stop for lunch, etc. after an initial learning curve we set off and never looked back! Had a blast all day with easy parking and on the spot transportation all for only $33 each!! Recommend this as a great way to spend the day!

I loved Revel scooters when they were available in Oakland/Berkeley. Fun, easy way to get around. I hope they come back to the East Bay!

The owner, Brian, is so helpful, kind, and patient. He truly made our experience great! I rented the one seater e bike (came with really thick tires). It had three speed modes (eco, mid and extreme), held a good charge and had good breaks. My friends rented the two seater - we both had a blast! The bike comes with a JBL speaker that is hooked up to an iPhone that navigates you through the city. The iPhone is connected to the bike that provides a detailed map to follow (with voice directions). The speaker also provides you with a wonderful history of SF throughout your ride. I highly recommend to get extra time/hours. You are going to want to stop (take pictures/have lunch/ grab a cup of coffee) along your ride The tour took us up close and personal to Fort Point historic site, the Golden Gate Bridge, the presidio, and around to the palace of fine arts Such a unique, thrilling and fun way to experience a section of the city. I highly recommend SF electric scooter rentals whether you're a tourist or a bay native!

However, I didn't figure that out until later. We set out and all was well. In Berkeley I got a flat tire. We called the emergency number. They said we can't rescue you from there, it's too far. They do rescue from Sausalito which is roughly 11 miles from SF, and Berkeley is roughly 13 miles from SF so that doesn't make sense. They said, go to a repair shop (my husband is basically a mechanic and we had a pump but the tire wouldn't take air because it needed a new tube.) The guy on the phone also suggested going to a gas station, even though we explained the tire wouldn't take air. By the way, they don't give you tools or anything. And-in case you don't know, replacing a rear tube/tire on an ebike is way more complicated and involved than a traditional bike because there is a drive train and wiring, etc. He said they would reimburse the cost up to $30. We were so lucky that we were in Berkeley, about a mile from REI which has a bike repair shop. I don't know what we or anyone would do if you were no where near a repair shop. REI replaced the tube and it cost $56. We continued on our way, and eventually returned to Bay City. They would not budge on the reimbursement and insisted on taking our REI receipt-not sure why, they weren't going to help us. If you aren't going to support your customers, you can't rent out bikes which do require constant maintenance and repair. The going rate to replace a rear tube on an ebike is $56. Reimbursing half of it is unacceptable. I would never go back here, and I cannot recommend it in good conscience.

I used an online contact form and asked the specific location in GG park / or near the park , that a person goes, to rent . I got no answer. At least a week has passed. The park is huge. I'm living in Hayward. I haven't been to GG Park in years. Without specific location information, I risk not finding the rental station. I won't be driving, but rather using a bus to HAYWARD Bart, then Bart to Powell, then Muni bus to the Segway station. Without an address, and specific directions once I get off Muni , I don't know where to get off the muni at , and don't want to get lost and end up walking in a wrong direction. If I can get directions from the Segway rental employee or admin , then I would like to come. At this time Im still invested in making the journey and renting. 9/27/25. Thank you.

They were outside their own window of delivery by 12 min with no response to our texts for over 30 min because their phone was in "eco" mode. Unprofessional and unacceptable. In that time we got a rental at the Six Flags itself which btw was cheaper by about $30+. What would you do if you were waiting on a delivery for over 30 min with no response? Chalked it up to being a scam and got another. Now they want to blame me for changing the delivery time, blame the prior customer as well, even though they were the ones that agreed upon the time. Clearly understaffed, unprofessional, and horrible customer service. Idk on what world they live in that someone should pay for goods not delivered or services not rendered. Never again. Avoid at all costs. Update: +1 star. They have agreed to a refund (& future discount--though doubtful I'll use it after said experience) through their escalation team. It's unfortunate I had to write reviews about the experience to get one. Hopefully they will re-evaluate how they do business or adjust their cancellation policy, especially on the basis of their own delivery driver being late & unresponsive.

Don't depend on Cloud of Goods for you rsvp being delivered on time!!!…read moreCloud of Goods was hired to deliver a knee scooter for me to use for a weekend when I traveled to Memphis Tennessee for a business conference due to a broken foot. I arranged for them to drop off the scooter at the hotel by 12:00 (who was made aware that the scooter was going to be dropped off). We got there at 1:00 and the scooter wasn't there. I called the company and got lost in their automated system. After 3 calls I finally figured out how to talk to someone. The guy was very hard to understand with a thick Indian accent and was very nonchalant about the issue. He called their local vender who was supposed to drop off the scooter, who said he would be there in 30 minutes. An hour later I called back because he still wasn't there. Same thing. Was told that he would be there in 30 minutes. He finally showed up after 4PM. OVER 4 HOURS LATE. They tried to appease me with a $20 refund which I declined. The scooter itself was worn with 2 pieces of duct tape on the knee pad. Very disappointing. Should have been an easy delivery but obviously their execution sucks.
