To me, coffee is a waste of money if you're not traveling because you can just make whatever you want at home with a nice setup. That said, my wife got the vanilla latte because she wanted something while we were out and she gave me a sip. After that, I went straight in line to order it. No joke. It was that good. My wife said this place had AMAZING coffee and I didn't believe her, but (don't tell her I said this) she was right. This place is way better than any Starbucks, Coffee Bean, *insert any corporate chain with overpriced and only decent coffee. I am a seldom coffee drinker, but on a Sunday where I felt I could use a little treat, I stopped into Reverent. Super cute little coffee spot, I ordered the revery latte and a scone. The latte was absolutely delicious, the cinnamon and orange blossom was such a nice touch and a little bit of sweetness that made the latte absolutely a delight. Coffee shop with lots of different coffee bean options. Great if you're serious about your coffee and can taste subtle variations. They have a menu of pour over offerings dedicated to different roasted coffees with flavor profiles listed underneath. They compared it to wine tasting except to coffee. They also have espresso with different syrup flavors if lattes are more your speed. Since it was unique, I decided to try one of their pour over coffees. I got their loquat taxi blend which was described as milk chocolate, blueberry and brown sugar. I asked if it's good to get with mulk and they recommended I just get it plain. It was ready quickly. I thought I was a coffee connoisseur but apparently I'm not. I honestly wasn't very impressed and frankly thought it just tasted like bitter coffee. I added some milk to it at home which helped. A coffee shop in rolling hills estate, the owner has a super adorable miniature American shepherd like mine, but she is a service dog. She has a spot she likes to claim as her own. I totally missed the sign that said she was a service dog and to leave her alone, but the owner was totally kind about it and let her meet my pup. We got an ice mocha and an ice vanilla late. I appreciated the low price point and the volume. There were a few other coffee shops I've gone to where I got far less for the same price point so I appreciated the fact that I didn't finish my coffee by the time I got back to my car lol Interior was super clean and cute and the interaction with the owner and doggie was such a nice addition. Lovely coffee shop with a welcoming atmosphere and comfortable seating. I enjoyed a delicious, hot masala chai tea with oat milk. There were several yummy-looking pastries available, but I didn't eat any today. (Trying to cut back on sugar!) There is ample seating inside and outside, and the street parking is free. I would normally wait a day or two to write my review, but this one needs attention. Walked in on a Saturday morning and it wasn't busy at all. There were patrons inside sitting and already had their coffees. There was no welcome when I walked in and no acknowledgement whatsoever. Almost like they were scared to talk to customers or just simply don't care. Staff were too busy talking to each other and only talk to regulars who were already there. Staff are idle and my drink took about 10 minutes even though there was no one in front of my order. No drinks were recommended to me by the cashier nor did they ask if it was my first time there. Such a shame since the drink I got was good. I opted for the pumpkin rosemary and I enjoyed the flavors. When I received my drink I said thank you to the barista and received NO answer back. It almost seemed Iike I was a bother. MESSAGE TO THE OWNER: Please get it together and train your staff to be more polite and welcoming to the customers walking in. These people definitely know their coffee. I had the revery, and it was really well balanced and did the trick. These people are a no frills small mom and pop shop! Their cups don't even have their logo or name on it, which is not something you see usually! They have a couple of tables outside and inside, and a handful of pastries, but not a ton of variety and I think I just saw a couple of muffins, but maybe they were running low. The owner of the shop helped us out and was friendly! They do have a bathroom, but no changing table in case you have a little one just as an FYI. When we walked in, there were a handful of people sitting and chatting but it was still quiet. It's a pretty open room but the space is mostly taken up by the bar. Not a ton of seating. Not a ton of decor either. Pretty minimalistic. Not a bad thing though! I got a matcha latte while my sister got an espresso Tonic with passion fruit. It wasn't bad! Delicious. This is a nice coffee shop in PV, but it's small with limited seating and, Unfortunately, the espresso I had was really bad. It was extremely sour and under-extracted! Great spot to stop by for a coffee. They don't have food options - only about 5 options like croissants and cookies. I came this Monday morning at 10:00 am and all the tables were taken! It's hard to imagine sitting at this place considering it was so crowded even on a Monday. I'd suggest arriving early if you plan on dining in. Let me start by sharing how professional and friendly the staff at reverent are. Aside from the staff, they even have a resident coffee dog named Sadie. What can be more perfect than that? Well, the coffee and drink selections are each brewed to perfection. I love sipping my hot drinks at reverent. I have probably tried 10 different things at this coffee bar. The ambiance is relaxing especially when there is no one talking but that's just personal preference. My only complaint is that this coffee bar is becoming popular and busy at times. I am glad that we now have an awesome home coffee bar at PV. I've seen PV locals bringing in their mugs and coffee tumblers waiting anxiously to be filled. Kudos to the staff of reverent and to many many more years. P.S: It has been a while since I've given 5 stars to any coffee shop. Just to give you a reference, if any starbucks is rated 5, reverent would be a 15. I've been to this one twice now, hoping the first time was just a fluke, but unfortunately the experience was the same. Both times I walked in, I stood at the counter for a while without anyone greeting me or even acknowledging I was there. And when someone finally does speak to you, they're rude. This morning, the girl working didn't even make eye contact or say anything polite. Wow, so into this place. First off, oat milk latte was so well done. It's the first alt. milk latte I've had in a while that wasn't too foamy or burnt. Amazing wood table inside - I could crush some emails and studying at that table. Tons of easy, free street parking. They have lovely mugs and glasses for dining in (yay sustainability!) only 50 cents extra for alt milk. Kind staff. The only thing I can't comment on is pricing cuz I didn't pay attention but I think before tip the total was $12.50 for a 12 Oz oat milk mocha and a 12 Oz oat milk latte. So I guess about average. Alsoooo if you're into biking/hiking/running, the move would be to do that activity at Filorium Reserve and then hit this place before or after cuz they're like 5 min drive away from one another. I cannot recommend this establishment for service. I am a regular customer...I buy beans here on occasion. Today, I stood waiting to pay, and my presence was simply not acknowledged. No greeting to tell me they knew I was there and would assist me as soon as they could. Eventually I spoke up and asked the barista to ring me up as the cashier would or could not. I am going to add that I am a senior; this type of treatment is not unusual as seniors are often considered "invisible"...treated as a nuisance. I'd been meaning to try Reverent (or RVRNT, as stylized) for quite some time, and the opportunity came to finally go! Especially when third-wave coffee shops are limited on the hill, it's refreshing to have RVRNT to save the day! I arrived just after 11:30am on the weekend. It wasn't too busy upon arrival, but by 12:30pm, the last-minute rush came just before the shop closes at 1pm. I opted for the Revery (latte), which comprises of orange-blossom and cinnamon. ...and oh boy was it a comforting mug of goodness! The cinnamon is front-and-center, with the orange blossom hitting you subtly in the aftertaste. The pour is generous and well-crafted. Big thumbs up! The space is minimalist, but very clean and a calming atmosphere either to do work or enjoy a coffee date with friends or loved ones. Small tables are only available, outside, for maybe 2 people max. +Drinks: 1. Cortado - Regular milk; pretty good ratio. Creamy and the roast is a bit on the lighter side, but their espressos are from Demitasse. 2. Cappuccino - Oatmilk Cappuccino; is my go-to favorite. It also has a good ratio of oatmilk, to foam, and milk. 3. Latte- We have gotten their lattes and it does not have too much milk, which is a good thing. 4. Cold Brew - I believe we got their cold brew once and it was on the lighter side. +Pastries: I forgot the GF almond bites on my most recent trip, but those are the best! Usually, the pastries are sold out by 1pm, so go early! They have items such as a matcha or chocolate croissant to the GF almond bites I just mentioned. I would say to check their IG for hours, since somedays are 7am-1pm or 7am-3pm. Just depends. They also have an online ordering system, which should have updated hours. read more

Great place, excellent vibe. Extraordinary service. Always wanted to visit this place but the fact that they are closed on Sundays (temporarily) just does not fit with my schedule to pay a visit. However, I did go on a weekday just to check this thing off my list and I am glad I did that. The place looked pristine and very well maintained. The people serving coffee were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about their coffees. I asked for suggestions and they gave me plenty to choose from, I tried the chai and it tasted authentic. The person who gave me the coffee suggested me what are all the coffees that I should try when I visit next time etc. I felt very refreshing after visiting the place both because of the drink as well as how nice this place looks. read more

Thus us a lovely minimalist coffeeshop, serving Sey and Onyx coffee. What i liked about it was that they have a really nice pour over coffee selection, something that other coffeeshops are lacking in. They also have a nice selection of espressos and teas, whatever suits your fancy. They even have pastries from farmshop. I tried a strawberry croissant thing and a latte, both were delicious. They also have a beautiful dog who you will find chilling on the floor, but its really really shy so let it come to you. They have bones in a jar if you want to give it a treat. The only downside is the lack of seating, its mainly a grab and go place. I mean they do have two tables outside, but its not the same. I felt this could have been a nice study spot. But if you just want your coffee to go, go here. read more
