Kept seeing this place all over my Instagram stories with high reviews from my friends. Every time I drove by, the line seemed long so I was hesitant to stop. I finally did, and I'm so glad! The line looks long and wrap along the length of the store usually, but it moves fast. The shop has many workers who are constantly moving so they're able to push out drinks quickly. I got their banana matcha and yummmm it was perfectly flavored with the ratio of banana to matcha. It wasn't too sweet either which is usually a concern of mine. Next to the cashier is a pastry display and I got a croissant which tasted fresh and flakey. It's located in small plaza so parking isnt an issue. Definitely will be back! First off the parking situation isn't easy however, the coffee drink I had was worth the struggle. It was clean the staff were so friendly and helpful and the pastries were delicious. I had the cookie butter cold brew with Biscoff crumble on top and I think a vanilla foam. It was a little sweet, not too sweet but just right, you could taste all the flavors and the coffee itself. This one was dangerously good and I'll be back to try other ones. I also got the almond croissant and it was big and flaky & soft it tasted fresh and so GOOD. Being an avid coffee drinker, I tend to focus on the flavor profile when it comes to drinking coffee. I like to give myself a rule of thumb that if you are paying $6 or more for a coffee drink, they should not using Monin/store bought syrup. Looking at the back too, it seems they pre-make the espresso shots before the orders, potentially losing their aroma and taste. My husband and I did order some of their drinks, and were slightly disappointed on the quality of the drinks even though we spent $13 for two. Visited here since it was close by the Del Amo mall and wow this cafe is packeddd. Is there no other specialty coffee shop around here? lol. There were still a good amount of parking spots available, but the line to order wraps inward like a snake. Luckily the line moves at a steady pace and I got my drink a lot quicker than expected. I ordered the chrome latte and my bf got the americano. Americano was pretty standard, but the chrome latte was pretty nice! The drink overall was a bit more sweet, so I wish it had a stronger coffee profile to it. Although, the drink overall was still pretty good! Very cute cafe! Loved the design on the inside. Good amount of parking and seating inside and outside! Line was long but moved quickly! All staff were so kind and sweet. Banana Latte was a 7/10. It was good, I wouldn't wait in line for it again though. Strawberry Matcha was a 3/10. Gritty, tasted like water, strawberry flavor got lost after mixing. I tried for the first time the hojicha latte and it was really good. The flavor of the grassy matcha is not there and it has more of a smoky flavor, I think. Woah chrome is so popular that you have to walk around the room in a circle beacuse the lines are long. But the wait was worth it. Just make sure you don't have nothing to do right after if you are there on a Saturday morning. I really like the set up. Nice place. read more

This place was popping midday on a weekday! Nice very modern little spot with limited drink options. I got the banana latte which I was impressed by the banana top. There were real bananas/little pieces and it wasn't just banana syrup which was impressive, it was smooth, sweet and creamy. They likely batch their tops and possibly their other items based on how fast I got my drink, but no complaint there! Great service, a few little parking spots available and an overall good pick me up fun sugary coffee type drink. Checked out Chrome Coffee recently and honestly really enjoyed it. I ordered the banana cream latte half sweet and it was perfect. A lot of places either make flavored drinks way too sweet or you can barely taste the flavor, but this one was balanced perfectly. Super smooth and easy to drink. The shop itself had a really good vibe too clean, welcoming, and just a nice spot to hang out for a bit. Staff was friendly and the drink came out quick. This spot is located right on Sepulveda Boulevard in a plaza so there's some parking. This place was packed. The line was wrapped around inside, but it went pretty quick. Came here for one thing and it was their Biscoff latte which was pretty decent. It was Rich flavorful and you could definitely taste the Biscoff flavor. However, the only thing I have about this is that the cold foam that comes with it took up about a third of the coffee cup which I did not like maybe next time I'll ask without cold foam other than that it was great quality coffee. The chrome latte is way too sweet, could be half or even quarter of its sweetness. It's also just very heavy, almost like you're drinking a melted milkshake. It could use less of the foam so you get more of the coffee taste. The cold brew was super watery. Even upon receiving the drink you could see the watery-ness of the drink with how lightly colored it was. The line only had a few people at around 4pm and moved quickly. Went to Chrome Coffee Studio and got the biscoff latte (25% sweet) and the coconut matcha. In my opinion, the biscoff latte was still really sweet even at 25%, but I think it's mainly because of the biscoff itself and the cold foam but it is still good if you like sweeter drinks though as this is also one of the more popular drinks. The coconut matcha was really good and light, and I felt like it was made really well with a nice balance between the coconut and matcha flavor. I went on a Sunday afternoon and the line was literally out the door. Ended up waiting around 30 minutes or probably a bit more. Personally I don't think it was worth that long of a wait, but the coffee itself is pretty good, so I'd maybe come back if I'm in the area and there's no line. There's limited seating inside (or at least it felt like it because of the amount of people they had inside that day, but I did notice a couple people getting work done and studying. Another spot that serves a delicious double matcha latte. Quite pricy but well worth it. It wasn't too sweet nor too milky. Parking was no issue! It shares a parking lot with other businesses in the strip mall. There was a line on a Saturday afternoon. Moves quick though. But def be prepared to wait around 15 minute to order, which is not bad! There is some seating but its quite limited given the amount of people that come here. There's a shared table, counter seats (which gets covered by the line), some stools, and 2 outdoor tables. Even with an hour til closing, there was a steady line and much of the seating was occupied. Despite not being personable or welcoming, service was pretty quick. The interior looks trendy and is super noisy, probably a good spot for socializing! I tried one of their signature drinks, the Hojicha Creamtop. It's super milky and ultra sweet with a muted tea flavor. I prefer my drinks to be more tea-forward. I came to Chrome on a weekend earlier this year and I thought it was top-tier. We came around 9:30 ish on a Sunday morning and there was a long line, but we were able to get a spot in the carpark easily. The line moved pretty quickly despite being intimidatingly long. The interior of Chrome is very cute. They have both bar style seating that looks out onto the street, ideal for laptop work, or tables and chairs. There is no outdoor seating available. The staff were really nice. I got the double matcha half sweetened. It was perfect, and comparable to Stagger's double matcha. Definitely one of the best places for matcha in LA. Though it was so busy, it seemed like most people were getting their drinks to go as the place cleared out once our drinks were ready. I think on weekdays, this would be a great study or remote work spot. Highly recommend checking this place out and looking forward to coming back. read more

Chrome is absolutely delicious! I have been multiple times and the quality of the drinks are great consistently. The matcha is rich and the banana flavor is delicious (not artificial tasting). Service is always very quick. The inside has aesthetic decor and lots of seating, but the line is often way too long to even use the seating. For example, there are a row of chairs by the window looking out to the street. However, when the line is long (always), the line takes up walkway space so you wouldn't be able to pull out a chair and sit there comfortably without having someone right behind you. Having a huge line is a great problem to have and I don't fault Chrome for it, but it would be nice to take advantage of the seating and enjoy the drinks inside. read more

If this place was closer to where I live, I would be a frequent customer! I loved all their drinks that I tried, which included the hojicha cream top, chrome matcha, and chrome latte. I especially liked the roasted and nutty flavor that the hojicha cream top offered. Service was excellent and quite fast. Cashier was friendly and baristas were quick with getting out orders even with the amount of people ordering. I think chrome coffee is the latest hot coffee spot in the South Bay. I agree with the other reviews; the line is literally out the door. Wanted to try it so I braved the chaos. It is quite loud and the acoustics are not ideal. Not a great place to work, relax, or have a meaningful conversation. However, the service is excellent and the staff hustle to get the orders done. I'm not into sweet coffee drinks so I opted for an oat latte and also a skinny mocha. Drinks were solid but not the best ever. There is a great display of pastries. The kouign-amann was pretty good (not sure where they get their baked goods from). I'm sure the hype will eventually die down and it'll settle into a more peaceful coffee shop. This is an updated review on chrome coffee. After hearing several yelpers and influencers raving about the brand new coffee shop to the South Bay, I decided to give it another shot. The line was surprisingly short at mid-day. I stepped up to the counter and ordered the banana cream matcha, My mom got an iced latte. The baristas were very friendly and we got our order surprisingly quickly. The drinks: - Banana cream matcha: while the matcha was concentrated and dark green, I could not taste the matcha. It was overpowered by the very sweet banana cream (I do give them props for using real bananas - it was on par with Brew Story in Huntington Beach). Unfortunately this was too sweet for me. I just noticed that another yelper said that you can ask for the drinks to be made less sweet so I'll try that option and update the review another day - iced latte with almond milk: Surprisingly perfect. It was not acidic, perhaps made with medium to dark roast coffee beans. It had a nutty texture and the almond milk complimented the espresso very well. We were blown away by how great the drink was. I literally cannot stop thinking about the Coconut Matcha. It might possibly be the best drink that I have ever had in my life. Coconut Matcha - I did some research and it's often called Coconut Cloud Matcha. It is coconut water with matcha cream. At first, I didn't think I'd like it as much as a regular matcha, but I am so glad I got it. I got it with 1/2 agave instead of full, and I could have went without any agave because of the natural sweetness of the coconut water and the sweetness of the matcha cream. I've only tried 2 drinks here but both were very good. One was the banana matcha. It's sweeter than what I prefer but the taste was worth it. The other was the banana chrome latte. Chrome is not a very big coffee spot, but there are a few tables to sit at. I was lucky enough to catch a short line this time around, but typically the line is out the door, especially during peak times.
