I had tried another hair location in this town and she wasn't bad but I like my hair blonde and she never got it the color I asked for. I think that going for 6 months and asking for what I wanted without receiving it for that long was enough. I looked in the mirror knowing it was time to get my hair done and I had seen hair revival on Instagram and started following them a month ago. I saw how great the shades of blonde were and felt like this could be it! Claudia was who I had my appointment with. She made me feel comfortable right away. She is very friendly and listened to what I wanted and asked the right questions. Claudia spent a couple hours on my hair which is expected with thick hair that is naturally dark, it takes time to lighten. After my hair was washed and I sat in the chair I could already tell with wet hair it was the shade that I had before moving here and trying so hard to achiever in NJ! If I could give them zero stars I would. Beware when leaving your credit card on file for holding appointment. The owner takes advantage and makes undisclosed charges. If you have an emergency day of you better rush to your appointment because you'll be paying for it regardless. i never write reviews and i've been to an extremely vast number of salons in my lifetime so I've seen and experienced a lot. I decided to try this place after searching up salons on yelp near me. the service here is the best i've ever experienced. the other salons i've been to don't even come close to how kind and friendly the staff were. the salon itself was so unique and cozy. i felt so safe and comfortable during my whole visit which i think is really important considering how long our stays at the salon can be. I can tell Lisa truly loves what she does and really cares about her clients. I love how she was able to give me her true opinion while still remaining kind and giving me what i envisioned and even more. They also sell a ton of really good hair products, clothes and jewelry. i can't recommend this place enough and i can't wait to go back!! read more

I finally found the best place to go for my hair. i couldn't be happier. When you arrive for your appointment they say hello when you walk in the door.! The will take your coat and offer you tea or coffee! It just gets better, the salon is bright beautiful and clean. All of the employees are so knowledge about hair and hair products. My appointment was with Amber. She asked my what i wanted, talk me to about my hair. She recommended i get a filter for my shower (i had hard water) and what a difference it made. After 4 months I finally got to go back to Revival, what a mess my hair was! My hair was truly the worst it's ever been. Lisa put me at ease right away and made me feel like she cared about my hair and what I was feeling. That doesn't surprise me because I've been going there about 4 years and always feel that way when I'm there. The professionalism and hospitality is topnotch. This salon is a beautifully decorated, serene spa-like atmosphere. The staff is welcoming and congenial and the service is excellent. My hairstylist Jackie does amazing color and is the only person I let touch my curls! My husband and daughter go to Holli who takes very good care of them! Went for a color and cut here for the first time and it was awesome! Claudia did my hair, and she was very nice and sweet. Very cute looking salon also. Besides the price being great, my hair came out soooo good! She got the color perfect, something no other stylist has done yet, and blew it out really nicely. She gave me some advice on products for my curly frizzy hair. Will definitely be back here, so glad they are so close to my house and overall a really good experience. Highly recommend! read more

We all probably know how difficult it is to find a good salon, and a good stylist. Well, look no further- Revival Hair Studio is it! Fantastic Salon, great staff and awesome vibe!! I called on a Wednesday and got an appointment for that Friday. Lisa was my stylist, and she's awesome! Not only did she do a great job on my color, cut, & blow-dry, she did a great job on the styling too. And gave me wonderful advice, which paid off almost immediately (I got compliments a couple of hours after I left). The staff was super friendly, and so were the other clients. The hospitality was awesome too; I was offered water, tea, coffee, or wine. The salon is extremely clean, and cute. They also have apparel and accessories for sale too! Which is nice, shopping & hair done all at once. I absolutely recommend going to this place. I'll definitely be back. read more

There is not one bad thing I can say about this salon! I had around noon asking if they had anything available for later that day and they squeezed me in as a new client! When I first walked in I was welcomed like I had been there 100 times before. Lisa came over introduced herself and made me feel so comfortable in a new salon! I was asked if I wanted any refreshments and felt at home! Lisa took what I had in mind and worked some magic, she explained to me that a toner was needed and now looking at my hair after she made a miracle happen! Such an incredible group there, that explained a lot of do's and don'ts to help your hair between cuts! I will 100% be going back and will tell everyone to go there from now on! read more
