I have a floor lamp that was a wedding present to my parents in 1949. After years of use, it needed to be rewired, so, was relegated to the basement where it sat for many years. After dad had passed & mom's health was failing, it was time to clean out the basement. I ended up rescuing the old lamp from a family yard sale, after which the it sat in my garage for a few more years. One place I called gave me an estimate of $400 to restore it! Well above my budget. Enter Revival Lighting. Had heard their ads on the radio for awhile before I finally called them. Took the lamp down (they were on Division at this time) and had them restore the lamp, changing the bright gold finish to a deep bronze. The lamp was beautiful! A few years later, we had a house fire and the original shade was destroyed & the old lamp was again relegated to the basement. Facing a move to California this past October, I wanted the lamp restored again before I left & by the only company I trusted to do it - Revival Lighting. They were able to get the lamp done for me, even with changing the finish to the Old Gold, before I had to leave in three weeks. The lamp is absolutely beautiful! Now, the search is on for a new shade! By the way, it only cost $140.00 to restore my family heirloom! read more

i brought down a light to Revival lighting to have it rewired. They charged me $100 to do this I picked up the light and paid them, and left. I went back to ask if a wall plug could be added to the lamp, and a woman named Kate at the counter says "I dont know, Im not an electrician". there was another man that was extremely uncomfortable and pulling his shirt over his face like he was hiding, or using it for a covid mask. I asked whats the matter with you people? She said theyre new and dont know anything. I later asked to speak to the manager and was told it was Janine and she wasnt there. I tried several more attempts to come down and get what I needed but those same two people were at the counter every time. I asked to speak to the manager and the Lady said "NO, it doesnt work that way." "Ill have you talk to Chris". I wasnt able to get what I needed, the people dont care, and the culture of this place is unprofessional. They are insulting. Eventually I found the number for a location on Riverside and Talked to John. he was willing to attach a plug to the lamp and I was grateful. read more

I could not find any one in this area (Spokane Coeur d Alene Revial lightin to fix some old vintage lamps that are really unique and worth keeping. One of the lamps was an old OK lighting fixture with humming birds and tiny fiber optic lights that changed colors while it is turned on. very beautiful! Thank you!! read more

Aside from new products, they carry working and refurbished antique sconces and lights that are really works of art. They make their own lights too in their workshop. Stopped in to buy a couple of sconces we saw on their website. It turned out the ones we saw weren't right for our space. However, Martin helped us put together the perfect sconces for our kitchen. We also found some others sconces for our cabin plus a lamp shade for a floor lamp. Everyone in the store was very helpful. They have a huge inventory in an awesome space! Was instructed to bring a pair of brass sconces to be prepared to accept lights and globes. After the sconces were mounted it became apparent that the incorrect bases were installed for the globes that Revival Lighting had provided. When this was brought to the attention Revival, they informed us that this was no longer their problem. I will certainly steer anyone I talk with away from this business. read more

I called about converting a European lamp to a US fitting and plug but at their suggestion I was able to secure a hard-to-find German to Candelabra bulb adapter from these guys, they even had it in stock. I also asked about touch-powered nightstand lamps and they sold me some adapter kits they had in the store too; I didn't even realize you could convert standard lamps to touch-powered! I had a very different experience than the previous reviewers, interacting with the folks at Revival via email and telephone rather than in person (since I live on the other side of the country). I couldn't have been happier with the results. My 115-year-old row house once had gas lighting, and I now have a ceiling fixture in which someone left a few inches of old gas pipe sticking right through the middle. No modern ceiling-mounted light fixture I could find would mount over it. After being recommended to Revival's website by a neighbor, I found a couple of lights that looked like they would work and ended up emailing for dimensions. After I picked one out and ordered it, Dave from Revival spent quite a bit of time with me, looking at pictures and talking on the phone. Eventually he customized the fixture to thread into the old gas pipe and mount the light flush with the ceiling so that it all looks clean and new. Both the reproduction fixture he made and the vintage-style glass are very attractive. And the thing that impressed me most was that after all of this extra effort, no one at Revival asked for a dime more than the already-very-reasonable prices for their reproduction light fixtures. I have recommended my neighbors use them as well and I'm very appreciative of their efforts. read more

Great shop, friendly and knowledgeable staff, have hard to find lamp parts, very good service at reasonable prices. They rewired my outside sconce that had been badly weathered. I am pretty handy and finally had to give up. They took care of it in under an hour of service including fixing other worn parts and reassembling the entire fixture so all I had to do was connect the wires and mounting screws when I got home. They also had some installation parts for another lamp I could not find elsewhere. Very impressed and pleased. read more

I have had multiple dealings with revival lighting. The first we had a track light (from a big box store) that we tried to fix ourselves with a piece we ordered online. it didnt work and we took it to RL and they fixed it in 10 min. for the same price as the piece we bought online. The most recent experience, we are restoring a 1898 home and needed period specific sconces. I picked out what I thought would be perfect but I was still unsure. They offered to let me take the example to the house to see it in the exact setting. It WAS perfect and I ordered 2 the next week. The ability to mix and match to create exactly what you want is fantastic. Their prices are not cheap! But neither is their product! I Highly recommend. read more

They scheduled someone to come to my home, have had some things shipped in which it turned out we didn't like -- returned with no hassle. They will build to suit, have one of a kind-items and are a go-to in the area if you have an older home. They know their business and clientele. read more

I have very mixed feelings about this business. They've always been helpful and welcoming when I'm in the store and I've purchased things from them with great results. So when I decided to rehab an old fixture I took it to them. I had taken it apart and cleaned it (years of coal and oil heat smoke) except for one major piece. The deal was they were supposed to finish cleaning it, and said they'd paint rather than relplate (because it would be extremely difficult to replate) and also rewire it . They didn't make any attempt to clean the uncleaned piece or deal with any clearly visible pitting, scratches or rust. The rewiring they did looks great but the fixture still needs work before it can be hung. Looks like I'll be doing it myself. read more

This place is awesome. We did essentially a complete remodel of our home lightening. John came by our house and looked at our home and style and we showed him ideas of what we liked. He selected ideas that were appropriate for our desires and also had a few ideas of things we would not have considered (we actually selected them because they fit so well!). He is great at selecting things that fit your style and desires. I could not more strongly recommend someone.
