This significant change made me question how the original recommendation had been determined. I was then presented with paperwork related to my refund. However, the document did not simply acknowledge the refund. It also included language limiting my ability to leave negative reviews or pursue complaints. When I asked about this, I was repeatedly told it was "just for the refund," but that was not my understanding of what the document said. At that point, I chose not to sign anything. I left the clinic and accepted a partial refund of $97 instead of $100 because I was told a $3 Venmo fee had been deducted. After my visit, I reviewed Yelp and noticed several reviews describing concerns similar to my own regarding pricing, upselling, and treatment recommendations. I encourage prospective patients to carefully read all documents before signing, ask detailed questions, request pricing in writing, and seek a second opinion before proceeding with any cosmetic treatment.
