I even looked up the doctor on the state board website. He has a clean record and works at Kaiser. You are definitely good people if you work at Kaiser. Anyway, I submitted a form online and Jiarui texted within the hour. She said that she can help me with my melasma and had an opening on Saturday. When I arrived, it looked like I was checking into a hotel. They gave me a form and later a cup of water. Jiarui came to greet me and brought me to her office. We talked about my concerns and what treatment I had done. She was very thorough and informative. Furthermore, she suggested other products but wanted me to focus on taking care of my melasma first. She said that they are having a promotion and gave me a price that was very competitive. The package is a series of 15 sessions and I would have to go weekly. After I had agreed, she got me on the phone with Dr Waxman to screen me and see if I was a good candidate for the laser. He's very nice and talks fast like any Kaiser doctor would. After she was done registering me, she took my payment and there was no surcharge for using credit card and tip is included. Then she walked me to the sink to wash my face. We went to the photo room and there were signs on the walls with numbers. That's where you look so she can take the photos. They use a Canon camera and it's already set up to take photos. Then we went to the room to get the laser done. The nurse told me that there will be a series of three rounds. After each round, she patted my face with an ice pack. When we were done, she took the goggles off my eyes and covered my eyes from the light since it was very bright. She put moisturizer on my face and went to get Jiarui. Jiarui walked me back to her office and recommended using some solution to buy on my own to help speed up recovery. Also, she booked the next four appointments for me and we bonded over cats so I showed her my Reels. She is very helpful, honest, a good listener and very nice. At first, I had my doubts based on other providers that I've encountered but third time is a charm. They seem be very knowledgeable and everything runs pretty smoothly. I'm hoping that this will be my forever beauty home. I highly recommend visiting them and get a consultation.

When I came to LA Beauty Skin Center, the nurses were so attentive and caring, they took the time to examine it and recommended a cream to help it heal and remove the hyperpigmentation. I've now had three treatments here, with more appointments already scheduled. Their newer laser technology makes a huge difference. The treatments are much less painful, appointments are quick, and the staff always make me feel comfortable and well taken care of. Ani, who took care of me today, was the sweetest and funniest ever. She made my appointment so enjoyable, and I felt lucky to have her as my provider. I'm from Los Angeles but spend a lot of time in Dallas, Texas, for work and school. They changed their appointment system and its going through some growing pains (they offer appointments when they aren't open; ask me how I know). However, they let me so a walkin as soon as they opened and were friendly, efficient, and helped answer my questions about the new offers. In some ways, this is a bit of a no frills medspa (at least to me) and I prefer that cause I can basically come in and out without too much down time. I'm also bad at relaxing anyways so I'm not the type who needs all the amenities of like drinks and aromatherapy. That doesn't mean staff are curt or rude, they still make time to chat and be friendly. What I did appreciate this time is even though I haven't been back for ~2 years, they still had my file and I still had credits for services which they honored. They also seem to have specials quite often and it can make aesthetic services a bit more affordable (but also, unnecessary procedures for vanity aren't gonna be "cheap"). Overall, for the LA area, I find the price to be extremely affordable and the results don't seem to be negatively impacted. I'd recommend this spot for the aesthetic curious or for long time medspa service users.
