Slightly awkwardly waiting in the reception area while she juggles another client. Slightly disappointed at the lack of mindless magazines - No Self, Seventeen, Vogue or Glamour. Fortunately, there was Harpers Bazaar so I could catch up on Paris Hilton's latest. I did the face framing height lights - 8 foils but I think she gave me a few extra. Saved around $60 by skipping toner and a blow dry. Asked for thick highlights, and they looked a bit skinned but the stylist showed me how they were actually thick. She was right. She didn't show me my hair automatically at the end. I had to ask, but I did like what I saw.

My haircut was not good at all. I wouldn't recommend her for shorter hair (or hair in a bob sort of shape and cut to the hairline in the back). When it started to grow out it was an utter mess. When I left I still felt like it needed to be cut a bit more but then I needed a haircut quickly after seeing her, total mess.The grow out was awful. After I left I realized it was completely uneven. The next stylist I saw said this haircut is terrible, it's not blended at all. Yes I realize the haircut is bad. I wish stylists wouldn't embark on a haircut they can't do. It's frustrating to get a haircut and have the next person go, yikes. The best thing would have been for her to tell me, I don't do shorter hair or I can't cut your hair but don't say I do precision haircuts because there wasn't anything precise about my cut. I feel bad leaving this because she was very sweet and she definitely tried, but I expect someone with 30 years of experience to do a great job or to tell me they can't cut my hair. I have been searching for a salon and stylist that truly cares about the health of your hair and who knows how to cut hair properly. Most salons CANNOT cut hair professionally even though they charge you for said "professional cut." Angela will give you an outstanding cut. I firmly believe that my hair grew faster and healthier because of it. My hair was so damaged, tangled and breaking off from hormones and stress. Angela was so sweet and extremely informative about hair health and products. She has a pleasant and gentle energy that transfers to how she handles the service that you're getting. She is honest and gives you all the information regarding your hair as well as how to take care of it "after" the appointment. Every single time I go to Angela my hair looks and feels so healthy, shiny and gorgeous. My scalp feels clean and my my hair has so much body. The only thing I didn't know is not to wash my hair and arrive with it wet for an updo. you should arrive with clean, dry hair. Kendall shared it takes more time as now it had to be dried .. I offered to just do the blowout, but she was very sweet and OK with sticking to the updo plan. Both of our hairs receive lots of compliments at the wedding that night. Highly recommend the place and sylists.
