I have been searching for a salon and stylist that truly cares about the health of your hair and who knows how to cut hair properly. Most salons CANNOT cut hair professionally even though they charge you for said "professional cut." Angela will give you an outstanding cut. I firmly believe that my hair grew faster and healthier because of it. My hair was so damaged, tangled and breaking off from hormones and stress. Kayla is AMAZING and has done my hair a few times now, very kind. The older lady with the accent that's normally at the front desk everytime i've been and never doing anyone's hair I understand why now. SHE IS SO RUDE!! She was also rude last time I was there and had the same service done last week for ~$30 and quoted me $45 for a blow out, when I asked she told me "I will never do that for $30 no one does" after just agreeing (because $15 isn't that big of a deal) she rollled her eyes and walked to her chair saying a few more things under her breath... I kindly told her I was okay and thank you anyways because why would I have someone touch my hair that seems upset with me they have to do THEIR job. I have NEVER had an employee so RUDE here everyone's always been AMAZING. First time I let off as her having a bad day, second time believe it's just her personality (or lack there of) that's nasty. It's nearby and easy to find, just east of the Intercoastal. Taking Atlantic Blvd., you can't miss the signs for Florida Dr., and the Salon is at 2221, in the very first block off Atlantic Blvd., with ample free parking. I happily recommend as hairdresser there Victoria Gibson. She helped me decide to color my hair after several years of white, promising it was reversible, and found the exact shade that is perfect for me. I had sometimes thought that, although the redheads on both sides of my family were "carrot-tops", I'd like to try the more elegant dark red, so she gave in and tried it, and was very good about fitting me in for a redo when I realized that it did not go with my skintone--actually made me look angry! I've received several favorable comments on the color, and also on the style. As more white hairs started sprouting in my bushy eyebrows, we added to our routine trimming, shaping, and dyeing them. What a improvement! And you'll like her. She's an intelligent conversationalist, but never pushy, and a good listener (she actually remembers the names and locations of my sons).
