A few years ago I noticed I was getting tired a little more easily/frequently than I remembered (or wanted). I've been treated here for probably over 5 years now, and highly recommend the clinic. The staff are very friendly, accommodating, and knowledgeable. The treatment is affordable, and can go through insurance / FSA. Health-wise this has been the best thing I've done in terms of quality of life. I would also recommend listening to the doctors' suggestions - they do not overprescribe or push treatments on you that you do not need. The goal is to stay within the healthy range, hence why there is blood work involved every 3-6 months. The prescribed medication and dosage is tweaked as necessary, which I really appreciate. I also appreciate the blood labs because they reveal more than your hormone levels - it's a pretty comprehensive panel with everything from prostate to liver enzyme levels, which I always find very informative! read more

Game Changer!!! I wasnt sleeping, had crippling anxiety, and I just wanted to lay on the couch after work when normally I'm a super active person, I also noticed that it was taking for ever for my body to recover after the gym or a long hike which isn't normal for me. The intake process was modern and quick. The consultation was thorough, and I feel like they do a good job worrying about side effects and stuff like that. Although they are out of network, they filed the claims with my insurance (so part of their fee will apply to my deductible). The price was reasonable including the labwork, and the actual medicine comes from a regular retail pharmacy so I can use my regular insurance. Also they said they would do a pre-auth if my pharmacy required it (which not all medical offices will do). I was investigating a different clinic in California for my friend, and the other clinic's website says they won't file your claims or do a preauth. I'm glad Washington lets ND's specialize in this. Most Dr's do not understand it. They dialed me in pretty well and have directed me to research that resolved issues where my regular Dr only prescribed drugs to treat symptoms. I feel better. I tried for a long time to avoid this and spent many many hours of research in trying to avoid doing this. But the more I researched, the more I learned that this isn't the pariah it's made out to be. Beware, the pharmacists and insurance company may treat you like a drug addict, however. They need some training - in my opinion. They closed the Saturday Bellevue clinic recently and have no staff to take blood draws now, sadly. read more

This place is GREAT! I'm about 5 months into treatment and couldn't be more happier or impressed with Revive (Kirkland location). Went in for a consult and they thoroughly review the history of your health. They explain the overall process for assessment and diagnosis. There's no sales pitch and no pressure to move forward with treatment. After getting my final blood work done (2 AM draws are required) we reviewed the results. Clear explanations as to why the numbers are what they are. In my situation my T levels were extremely low. They explained the possible causes of this, but they can't pin the reason on one "thing" from just doing blood work. At this point I figured the sales pitch is coming. Nope. They actually recommended I see a specialist for further evaluation before making a decision or starting treatment, and to take my time with my decision if needed. They didn't refer me to a specific doctor but rather a doctor in a specific field. After my own research and further discussions with Revive I was comfortable with moving forward. The staff at the Kirkland location are excellent. Very accommodating if an appointment needs to be adjusted for work reasons. After 8 weeks I got another assessment on my T levels. It went up, but not to the level we're targeting. Treatment was adjusted but cautiously, which I appreciated. There's no rush to hit the target T level. I've been going to Revive for years. The brain fog and other concerns are gone. I always feel better after I leave than when I walked in. I've received numerous invaluable health "tips & tricks" from caring ND's and staff here. Dr Wheeler always aspirated before he gave injections too, which seems to be a lost art for some odd reason lately. Nursing videos and standard practice for Intra Muscular injections always included aspirating first. read more

Total joke and waste of time. The first appointment cost me 200 dollars and nothing was done except checking my heart rate and blood pressure. I come in two months later and set up a blood draw. The results came back on the low end of what they consider normal 300-900. So Dr. Wheeler wanted to try something natural to boost the T levels. If I wanted something natural I would have went to GNC and bought one of their useless T boosters. It would have been nice to know before I wasted 2 days off and 200 dollars what my T levels needed to be to get prescribed T. read more

I scheduled an appointment online based on the $150 plus free lab test. When I called to confirm, I was told that there would be three additional lab tests I'd be required to pay for, and then another $85 appointment to go over them. The $150 turned into over $300 in order to get a prescription. It would be nice if this was laid out on the web page advertisements. It felt a little deceptive. All the other reviews seem to be happy with the treatment provided at this clinic. But if you're a cash customer, like me, be advised. It's not $150 to get going with treatment. 10/31/2017: Dr. Wheeler reached out to me personally to discuss these matters. I'm very satisfied with the discussion and impressed by his concern for an honest representation of his clinic's costs and treatment options. I'm happy for a reboot of the doctor/patient relationship. If you have insurance, but it doesn't cover treatment at Dr. Wheeler's clinic, you can have your PCP perform the blood tests and bring the results to the clinic. Absolutely awesome! I started with Innovative Men's clinic and found Revive about a year later and they work with insurance instead of cash. The requirements are more strict for insurance but I brought in my first lab from Innovative. With Premera insurance, I was able to swap without any hassle based on previously bloodwork. They maintained my prescription dose of test and lowered my aromatase inhibitor as the dose Innovative had me on had flat lined estrogen. I talked to Dr. Josh a fair bit and he is really forth coming with information. They are a little more conservative with the total test. Innovative targets 800-900 and didn't bat a lash if blood work was over 800. Revive was a little concerned that my test was 890 but I was also taking some supplements that bind to androgen receptors and raises test a bit. second test was 750 after I stopped supplements and if it was 850+ they were going to lower the dose. They are truly concerned about overall health. I felt like Innovative didn't give an F and just wanted my money and did whatever it takes without breaking the law. Blood work almost seemed like a formality. Revive is probably not the clinic for any bodybuilder/fitness types looking to get legal T and run super-physiological doses. I was asking about SARMS & Peptides and was pretty much told i could do whatever I want but run extra T. Its a 1 strike rule if blood work comes in with high numbers. The only thing I really didn't like is they schedule a 6 week followup in between the 12 week blood draws which is just a pain in the ass. Innovative does blood work at 6, 12, 24 and 52 weeks and then twice a year with followups over the phone. I got the impression revive was every 6 weeks in office visits for ever. They closed the Bellevue office and I stopped working with them after only a few months but I still give them a thumbs up. Test, the AI, & supplies were covered w/ Premera Insurance. HCG was covered at 90% but the local pharmacy (Bartels) wanted $2200 for a 10,000IU bottle (half would go bad)! Revive works with a Texas pharmacy and I believe the HCG was about $100-150 but its out of pocket. They will fax a script to any pharmacy if you can find a better deal your insurance will work with. read more

I like surrounding myself with only the "BEST" Dr. Barry Wheeler is one of the best there is, Dr. Wheeler answered all the questions I had in easy to understand terms. I had two back surgeries in 2007, some of the outcome with my blood work other Doctors had no answers to way I had such low "T", they couldn't explain my anemia and why I was so lethargic for the past 8 years. Dr. Wheeler sent me for a baseline blood draw, I returned to his office a week later, he explained things to me that no one else could figure out, needless to say I was blown away at how competent and so well informed Dr. Wheeler was. I started treatment in late December 2017, only after a few shots my "T" started to increase as well as my energy!! I am continuing my treatments to date with much success, I'm impressed how Dr. Wheelers office has handled all the paperwork, billing of insurance and making follow up appointments with ease. I sent one of my co-workers there who had similar experiences. Dr wheeler, was very helpful. He went over my lab results in great detail and even referred me to a endocrinologist for another condition that was discovered. This tells me hes in it for more then selling testerone and generally cares about his patients . I am about 5 weeks in and I feel amazingly different my energy levels have returned to normal and I 've become much leaner akin to my early 20's couldent recommend enough. read more
