Even requesting the first appointment of the day (8:30 a.m.) I discovered that Dr. Choe's nanny doesn't arrive at her home until 9 a.m. and she arrives at the office around 9:30 a.m. Additionally, the first appointment ended up being the 4th or 5th as other patients were seen before me in spite of me being there first thing in the morning. If anyone feels a bit claustrophobic, beware, as the times in those small, closed off rooms can about send one in orbit. Oh, and make sure that you specifically ask about any booked appointment. I arrived on time in my city to discover that it was booked in Asheville, without anyone informing me!

She has performed on me laser facial rejuvenation, BOTOX and Dysport treatments, facial fillers, hair removal, vein removal, and facial peels. In addition, she introduced me to the Obagi Skin Care System and Glo Minerals Makeup. Vicki's product knowledge is very impressive. She will guide you through the regimen best suited to you so that you can achieve healthy and youthful looking skin. Vicki stays current with new procedures and techniques and can provide solid expert recommendations based on your individual desires and needs. Before any procedure, Vicki thoroughly explains any pre-procedure preparation, the procedure itself in detail, typical responses to treatment, and aftercare. She ensures that you are as comfortable as possible during the procedure. After any procedure, she follows up with texts, emails, and/or phone calls to check on your progress until you both are satisfied with the results. I always look forward to my time spent with Vicki. She provides a very serene, relaxed setting that puts me completely at ease. She is a very warm and engaging individual with a great sense of humor. In my experience, no other aesthetician's/esthetic nurse's services can compare to the quality service provided by Vicki. I feel she goes above and beyond in working toward your complete comfort and satisfaction. She is the ultimate professional, and I highly recommend her. Sue S.

I came in for Botox and fillers and later returned for a follow-up appointment. Beth discussed what…read moreshe planned to do at the follow-up, but never discussed any associated costs beforehand. When I checked out, the receptionist specifically told me there was no charge. I've had follow-up appointments with other doctors over the years where there was no additional charge, so I had no reason to think otherwise. Later, her office contacted me saying they had forgotten to charge me. I asked what the amount was, but my card was charged before I was even told the amount. Only afterward did they text me that it was $750. That amount had never been disclosed to me or approved by me beforehand. I asked them to refund the charge until I could speak with Beth and understand what had happened. When Beth called, rather than acknowledging the obvious miscommunication, she told me it was my responsibility to ask what the treatment would cost. She also said that because we had been having a personal conversation during the appointment, she hadn't gone over the pricing. I disagree. A patient shouldn't be expected to know what a medical provider is going to charge. Pricing should be disclosed before treatment so the patient can make an informed decision. There was another issue with the treatment itself. I had specifically raised my under-eye area by text and again during the follow-up, and it was part of what we discussed addressing. Beth ultimately did not treat that area. When I raised it afterward, she said it would have required a different type of injection. That was never explained to me during the appointment. If the treatment plan had changed, I should have been told why and given the opportunity to decide how I wanted to proceed. What was most disappointing was how my attempt to resolve this was handled. Rather than trying to work through the miscommunication, Beth repeatedly characterized me as "argumentative" and ultimately told me, "I am discharging you as a patient because you are being so argumentative." I was asking for an explanation and a fair resolution regarding a $760 charge that had never been disclosed to me beforehand, as well as an explanation for why part of the treatment we had discussed wasn't performed. I cannot recommend this practice.

You will fork out thousands of dollars for tools and products necessary for an esthetician to do your job and ads on Facebook trying to pull in people. You will not be on any formal paperwork, they will have you email your bank information to their HR but you will not receive any tax documents or fill out any new hire information. When you finally get tired of their toxic and draining environment and email a resignation they will reply accusing you of stealing (weeks later, might I add). Luckily, I save every reciept (not to mention any correspondence backing this "review" up as factual) as my thousands spent were a business investment for myself. A review is just an opinion but I feel this needs written for anyone applying with them. You will have a beautiful and shiny picture painted and it will result in you spending thousands earning nothing (not even a 1099) in return. If you are a new esthetician, find a better established spa and begin as a booth renter. Invest in yourself, have a proper contract and proper documentation in place.
