I wanted to cross hitting a baseball off my bucket list. The price on the internet was $ 55.00 dollars for a session. I thought that was fair because I wanted to accomplish this even if I'm a senior. Jason was wonderful to me. My only and biggest complaint is the pricing. I was fully prepared to pay the $ 55 for the half hour when I booked the online appointment. When I arrived today, I was told it was $60.00. Not a big difference but you should have honored the price on the web site. I told the young man about the pricing difference but my complaints fell on deaf ears. I feel this is wrong and cheated. I would give Jason a 5 star rating but your customer service one star. Update 3/31/24. D Bat has done the right thing and refunded the 5 dollars to my credit card

Neither the flyer nor the website stated they were baseball-only. When we arrived, the coach couldn't get softballs, couldn't teach softball techniques, and repeatedly used the wrong name for my daughter. She was uncomfortable and upset enough to leave halfway through. Staff admitted the flyer wasn't clear and said both clinics would be canceled. I expected a refund or credit for the $390 paid. I got neither, and follow-up messages were ignored. This isn't about coaching -- it's about accountability. Parents deserve better.

They have some great prices too, from memberships to individual sessions. Some machines work better than others, sometimes balls pitched too high other times too low. But if you ever have bad luck with a certain machine, let them know and you'll be credited back. Everyone here is helpful and friendly too, they will also loan you a bat & helmet if you don't have your own. Machines pitch baseballs & softballs from slow pitch to fast pitches as well.

There's a bit of a learning curve at first, especially adjusting to the pitch timing and actually putting the ball in play. You can choose how many innings to play and select from four difficulty levels: Very Easy, Easy, Pro, and All-Star. Very Easy was almost effortless, Easy felt like a good balance with some solid hits and home runs, and Pro was extremely challenging (basically no-hit territory.) I didn't even attempt All-Star. Pitch speeds ranged from about 40-60 mph, which worked well for me, and you can adjust them to find your comfort zone. When you're not batting, there are a few on-screen options, but they're pretty limited - adding more interaction for the non-batting team would make the experience even better. Overall, it's a cool concept and probably will be back again.

I have not had good experiences at this D-BAT location. Multiple times I've come here, the machines…read morewere either malfunctioning or completely out of service. When asking employees for help, sometimes they assist, but other times they just tell you to wait for another machine without offering any real solution. The machines constantly having issues is clearly something management should take more seriously, and the staff should have a better attitude when customers bring it up. Today was even worse. I showed up to get some batting work in, only to find the entire building closed. An electrician on site mentioned it was due to electrical issues, which honestly makes sense considering how often the machines don't work properly. The frustrating part is there was no notification anywhere saying the facility was closed. Google Maps showed the place as completely open. I've been to other D-BAT locations, and this one is by far the worst experience I've had. Even the bats are in poor condition.

Another thing I didn't care for was the place was EMPTY, I think there was two other people in the place but we had to state what we wanted to play right then and there and I wasn't sure what all the place had to offer. After getting that taken care of, the attendant took us to darts to get started and when we finished the game we weren't sure what to do next (apparently you play until that block of time is up). When it was time to go to the next game, we had to go look for an attendant as they were playing games. There was no enthusiasm in showing us how to set up for the golf or how to play, basically you are on your own. We decided we wanted something to drink, but had to find the bartender who was playing golf (once again, automatic gratuity) and seemed frustrated that she had to stop playing to work. It is within eyesight of the Allen Eagle Stadium. There are beautiful, walking trails and bicycling paths. Much of the length of some of the trails runs along the creek. Today the park also pays host to sporting events, though it's homage to yesteryear is not lost. This 125 acre park offers a variety of activities for people. There is a BMX track and skate park, baseball/softball diamonds, hiking & biking trails, grill and picnic table, a playground, and more. I was just here for a stroll. I had been at the dam site on the other side of Exchange Parkway, and there was a trail connecting the two areas that I walked. It was a nice paved trail that is protected by surveillance cameras. Restored historical Texas site, Yes! The last time I was out here, this extensive rework had not…read morebeen done. I was surprised to see the fantastic historic area upgraded to paved trails, new bridges, flood control, fencing and legends. The place can be hard to find as it is in a parking lot behind a light manufacturing complex. However, its worth the search and find. Lower your expectations because its not an in-your-face fabulous tourist attraction. As a matter of fact, few know it's even here. On the other side of the trees lies a major interstate highway heading north with a constant stream of heavy traffic. Ironic since the road is paralleling the very railroad tracks laid 150 years ago heading north to the rest of the country. This dam was built in 1874 to pool water in the stream as a source for passing locomotives! What a feat when you consider how many of these they had to build in this country to run the steam engines. Im glad this has been preserved for everyone to think about how recently in our history no one lived here and transportation equipment ran on water! Recommend checking it out. Go!
