I continue to experience ongoing symptoms related to these injuries. When the case settled, the attorney fees and costs deducted by the firm exceeded the amount I personally received from the settlement. This outcome was not clearly explained to me in advance, and I was surprised by the final disbursement. I raised my concerns with a legal assistant assigned to my case, including whether the firm would consider reducing the fee percentage to achieve a more equitable outcome. I was told that I should have read my contract and that the percentage would not be adjusted. Overall, I felt that my concerns were not meaningfully addressed, and the outcome left me financially and medically worse off. I encourage prospective clients to ask detailed questions in advance about fee structures, medical treatment approvals, and expected net recovery before signing a representation agreement.

As for "I do not handle that type of law" in the review response, their web site lists "REAL ESTATE" as one of the areas of expertise for Attorney Michael K. Wolder.
