They responded immediately to my need, fixed it quickly and for a reasonable and competitive price, and got me back on the road. Behind the scenes, they went above and beyond: finding the parts needed at the best price even though that meant going to multiple vendors, test driving and reassessing my truck, and developing a plan to make sure I got the best possible support and service. But all so quickly and cleanly that none of that was any stress to me at all. They are local and long standing, and they do business with ethics and integrity. They are worthy of trust. I used this company for three repairs and spent over $2000. However, what I have discovered is that the repairs were not done like they said. I was charged $700 labor to replace two oxygen sensors but they only replaced one and did not return one of the oxygen sensors I had purchased. On multiple occasions I had to return because the throttle lean codes kept showing up, and I was charged each time. They recalibrated the throttle body twice without cleaning it and since, upon removing the throttle body myself to replace, have discovered they never cleaned it. The last time they charged me for a coil pack they never replaced. My advice is to look elsewhere for an honest auto repair shop. read more

I traveled to Grants Pass on a business trip and my 2015 s60 started randomly going into turtle mode half an hour out of town, on a Friday night. Called these guys in desperation on Saturday morning. They squeezed me in, correctly diagnosed the problems, identified the own that needed fixing immediately ( this was the cheaper repair), and which could wait until I could take the car to my usual mechanic. No upselling, no pressure tactics, and very affordable, especially for a last minute appointment. Can't recommend them highly enough. read more

Revolvo West has the best customer service ever!! 700 miles into a delightful road trip to Portland, Oregon our Mercedes started acting peculiar, then it got worse. After a few frantic calls to area mechanics, we came to rest at Revolvo West in Grants Pass ;) ... immediately upon entering the office we were greeted by smiling faces as Larry the owner took our beloved vehicle for a short drive then confirmed our suspicions and he as well as Eric and the service staff fixed the problem(s) in a very professional and courteous manner. After researching these two dealerships, Rigs & Rides, and Revolvo West, who have the highest yelp ratings in Grants Pass, we have ascertained that the bad reviews that prevented even higher ratings, were manufactured and untrue. Competitors and or personal reasons are the likely motivation for the false ratings. While some of the New Car Dealerships have similar ratings, that includes the sale of new cars which will naturally have good rating due to new vehicle manufacturer warranties. In writing this review I want to state its not that the actual work done on my Land Rover was poor it was the way they went about it that was disappointing. Took the Land Rover in with a squeaking noise that I wanted to be addressed...they changed the belt, still squeaking....we were then told my the mechanic that it was the break sensor letting us know the breaks needed to be changed, I doubted this as the noise was only present during acceleration but as a mom I wanted to make sure my kids were safe, I would not have paid the $500 plus for brakes had he not told us that would take care of the issue at hand and for the safety of my kids. Brakes changed, guess what....still squeaking. I got online and found two things that could be causing it, Thought this was part of their job to figure out the actual issue?!?!? Online it showed two things...I assumed they would check out both options before trying to "fix/replace" anything else. They just went with the first option listed the "belt tensioner" and replaced it....guess what still squeaking...then he looked at the U joints which I suggested was the issues and said he could visual see they were rusting off....ummmm what?? Then how did you not notices this for the last week you've had my car and been working on it??? They were then told him to remove the other part and fix the U joints. He did not remove the other part (belt tensioner) but replaced the U joints which finally took care of the issue we were there for in the first place. I'm disgusted now that my pocket book is empty and we replaced my breaks before they actually needed to be replaced out of fear and because a trusted mechanic said the sound was from the break sensor... If not brought to their attention they were going to charge full price + labor on all of this work. Instead they only discount they gave was not charging labor on the un-need belt tensioner they put on and the labor for the U joints. When you take your car in for a issue I assume its the mechanics job is to run/check the car over and diagnose the issues. I'm annoyed that I actually had to figure out the issues myself and pay for several unwanted parts. Thanks Revolvo West for the un-need and costly work done on my Land Rover. We will not be coming back to you for any further work and perhaps if you are going to service Land Rovers you need to brush up on your diagnostic skill or even just try using google to diagnose like I did. read more

This Is basically an overpriced used car salesman running a repair shop. Owner recommended a fix that made my car run worse. They didn't have any intention on being professional mechanics and getting to the bottom of the issue, rather than recommend a service they could charge high for and do fast. read more

I bought a car from this est. because I am a student and could not get a regular new car loan due to my income considered as debt. I was sold a car from this guy for $3400 and have dumped another $1000 in less than a year including a $80 "check" he did when the car sputtered which IT STILL DOES and he said it was fine. Recently my rear window was broken and I received a quote of $688 to fix. I called Rev west and he told me $225! FINALLY, some relief......wait he charged my credit card $350. So then he says oh well next time if the car breaks I will fix it for free. YA RIGHT! Did I mention I am a single mother of three. Kewl guy, but I feel kinda ripped off. read more

As a stranded motorist, I was a perfect candidate for rip-off. What a relief to find Revolvo. They fixed my turbo and got me back on the road in about an hour (had to wait for it to cool). I was shocked when the repair was only$110. I would have paid three times that. Getting a tow truck from my insurance was the nightmare if the day. Saved my vacation and my reputation with my teenagers. So glad to find an honest repair shop. read more

These guys are amazing!!! We had a front axle that needed to be replaced on our BMW. They are professional, courteous, all around great people and exceptional mechanics. I can't say enough good about Larry and the other guys at Revolvo. I limped my XC 70 into his shop after some transmission trouble while pulling a tent trailer up the Siskiyous Pass. He quickly and correctly diagnosed the problem my car was having, rescued the car, and saved our trip! I was afraid I'd have to replace the transmission (or the car!), but Revolvo saved it at 5% of the cost of those options. Over the last week since the repair, the car has run and shifted better than any time in the last 4 years that I've owned it. I'm a happy camper, and I'll probably come see him when it's finally time to replace my Volvo with something newer. read more

Not an honorable company.. Same as what Sammie 0. said.. they have no problem lying to you . They must need the money, because they seem to be slipping in to scamming people especially people who have little knowledge of mechanics. Whats more is that various workers will team up on you and convince you that you are confused or coerce you. And then they wont admit they made any mistakes. They exaggerate problems and insist that they are the only qualified Volvo mechanics in town in order to confuse you some more. Our visit cost $1,400,00 and didn't even fix the problem. Which was so obvious even a kid working at Burger King figured it out. I took the car back to them and gave them a second and third chance to work out a solution.. and the owner said " we will never see eye" meaning .. he wasn't going to compromise unless I agreed to pay for "whatever other part" he decided to slap on the car after I signed the contract. Look elsewhere for you Volvo work, there are good mechanics elsewhere. We had it fixed elsewhere for $315. read more
