Worst customer service ever. They don't deserve your business. First off they have a 2 minute late arrival policy with the worst parking situation ever. I would've been totally fine with that had they let me know on the call when I booked with them. 2 minutes is just not the norm to know. Then they told me I couldn't reschedule over the phone because "I was more than 2 minutes late my first time" (at the 5 minute mark)...I had to schedule online so they could get my card information to late charge me if I was late again. When I told them how this whole situation made me feel, the girl responded "okay"...I went to the sugar waxing studio across the street immediately after and had the best experience to date. Just booked my first appointment with Rewaxation last week at the Divisadero location and I had a great experience. I will definitely be going back. Lulu was great with communication getting me in and they even got me in early. Even though I loved that they offered later appointments. I wasn't rushing from work. Safety protocols were enforced and I felt completely safe. The whole wax room was immaculate and cleaned. I highly recommend them. I had the brow wax done. Amazing wax experience and customer service! I literally scheduled my Brazilian appointment an hour before I came in by using their online booking system and they were able to take me in. The girl at the front desk offered complimentary wine or water, which was great. Then finally I met my esthetician, her name was Dani I believe. She was super friendly and was able to talk me through the process and distract me from the inevitable pain I was about to face. She made it quick and painless as possible but was very proficient while doing it. Btw, loved how she tweezed whatever hair was left over, some waxers don't do that! Ask for Sally! I was such a noob when it came to trying the whole brazilian waxing thing, but I knew it was time to throw away the razor and give it a shot eventually. Sally is amazing, she's super friendly and doesn't make the experience awkward at all. Not only that, she's quick and tries to make it as painless as possible and will educate you about the differences between sugaring and hot waxing. I've tried both and found that it's whatever your personal preference/pain tolerance is. I've definitely converted to waxing and am now going to be a regular customer. I love getting spray-tanned here! My tan always looks amazing and the girls who work here are SO nice, attentive, and professional. When you arrive, you'll be checked in and offered water or a glass of wine (!!) while you wait in their cute lobby. When you get to the tanning room, there's a chalkboard and colored chalk for people to share the reason they're getting a tan (some of the answers are pretty funny...I'm looking at you, person who wrote "dick appointment"). There's also a drawer to protect your clothes and sticky feet ready and waiting. The girls help you apply the barrier cream so you don't miss any spots, and they're liberal with the cool air hose and baby powder to help you avoid streaking after you leave. Finally, they send you home with a sponge brush/tan eraser, instructions for touch-ups, and a lotion sample. A+ experience, I'll keep coming back whenever I'm in need of a tan! read more

I am so past due for this review. I started going to Rewaxation 6 or 7 years ago at their Bush location (which is equally as fantastic) and then to the Divisidaro location since it opened. Even after moving to New York, I would still make appointments here whenever I was in town. Now I live in Marin, but it is well worth the drive and bridge toll because they really are the best. Their prices are unbelievable and much more affordable than anywhere else in the Bay Area, especially when you factor in that they give a 20% discount when you book within 4 weeks of your last service which makes their brazilian sugaring $50 (unheard of!!!!). I also get my eyebrows done here and just about everything else I could ever need waxed. They introduced me to sugaring and I find it way better than traditional wax; much less painful, slower regrowth, and no ingrowns! I always see Dani who is absolutely amazing and ridiculously fast (without missing anything), but I've seen so many of the other girls here and you really can't go wrong and booking is so easy. Everyone is so nice including the receptionist who go above and beyond with their service every time. They have always been super diligent with sanitary measures and so it's no surprise that they are taking COVID precautions so seriously and I couldn't have felt safer. The plastic curtain really put me at ease along with all of the steps they are taking in terms of check in and interactions with the staff, making both myself feel comfortable and also making me feel that they are taking the health of the employees really seriously as well. I made my first appointment here with Dani, and she was absolutely amazing ! My hair was a bit shorter than it should've been, but she was able to provide the smoothest, fastest, and most painless wax I have ever received in my life. I love that she went in with tweezers after for precision. Dani is super friendly, funny, and offered great, honest advice as well. She was able to explain the different benefits behind both waxing and sugaring with no BS (i.e.: sugaring hurts less). Dani also checked in a lot and made sure I was okay and comfortable throughout the whole time, which took maybeee 15 mins for two different waxing services. Incredible! As someone who is in healthcare, I am happy to see that they are taking the covid precautions super seriously. Staff and customers are required to wear masks and other protective garments to prevent the spread of infection. They screen and survey customers prior to their services. Lots of hand sanitizer available as well. The cleaning process was very thorough and the contactless approach was great. The only contact I had with anyone/anything was when Dani was waxing me on the table, which of course had the disposable sheet and was cleaned before and after use. I didn't see any other customers while I was in there, but they no longer allow others to wait inside and instead text you when to come in. Came across reWAXation from Yelp, and got a glowing review from an acquaintance who goes to the other location. She confirmed that reWAXation uses hard wax and to also maybe give sugaring a try. Originally it was for sugaring but i'll be honest with you, the last time I got a wax was Nov 2017. it's April 2018 y'all so you can imagine. Although i wanted to try sugaring, Imani was honest with me that we would have to use wax as the length of my hairs were too long. It would not work well with sugaring. Imani explained the sugaring process and even showed it to me, which I really appreciated. made a mental note to come back here for sugaring next time depending on how today's wax went. IT WAS AWESOME! and who the hell says that about waxing vajayjays?! Talking with Imani wasn't bad at all (I'm really awkward IRL) and she was friendly. The wax was painless and over before I knew it. She was so fast!! I had to double check my phone after getting dressed to make sure I wasn't tripping. And although Imani was quick, she was thorough. Was my first time going here and I really wanted to try out sugaring. After a lot of research, I saw that most prices in SF are around $75+ so that's what I expected when I looked into this place. I honestly only chose this place because it was near where I was running errands. When I saw that it was only $58, that was an extra plus! Also, they didn't require a credit card at the time of booking which I really liked since honestly I never know what could happen. I went early and unfortunately, they were fully booked so couldn't take me much earlier but they could do 15 minutes earlier. I walked to a cafe to hang out for a bit before I went back. I saw Imani and she was very honest with the fact that I had to do a mix of sugaring and hard wax since the hair was too long for sugaring. She was able to sugar some parts so at least I had that experience. In terms of pain, it was honestly the same to me as waxing... but it went by so much faster! There's no wait time and it's pretty much instant. I was all clean and smooth within 15 minutes. I would definitely like to go here again, but not sure if I would go out of my way and might try to find a place closer to where I live or work. I had an appointment with Dez. She was really friendly and made me feel extra comfortable. They are following all of the COVID precautions--temp check at the door, sanitizer as you walk in, masks on at all times, gloves--but on top of that, there is also a clear, plastic "curtain" between you and your aesthetician during the entire service. Very clever! As soon as the appointment is over, Dez immediately began sanitizing the room.
