Getting a Brazilian isn't exactly a pleasant experience, but Dana is a gem and makes it go by so fast! She is careful, considerate, and just a overall great human. I am sure the rest of the staff is great too, but I just loved Dani from day 1 so I stuck with her. I do sugaring which, in my opinion, is a tad more painful then their wax, which is almost painless. All were friendly and professional - I have no complaints. I'd say they're all attentive to care, and will inform you of products and routines to prevent ingrown hairs. I love this place. Set in a super comfy, clean and stylish atmosphere with a bunch of friendly staff. I can always make same day appointments, they're always on time and my Brazilian sugaring is done to perfection. I have been to Alex the last couple of times and she is great. I thought it was ok.. just moved here from SD and looking for my new wax spot. Initially went to European Wax since I had a great experience with them in SD, but it grew in unevenly and fast plus didn't seem like the cleanest, so decided to try somewhere else. Found this place online and booked it. It's cute, right on Divisadero and close to a couple MUNI spots. My waxer was nice enough and conversational, but did a quick job which didn't end up clean. I still had a clear strip of hair not waxed on my inner thigh and quite a few stragglers everywhere in between. She told me to check it out and if she missed anything she would be right outside, not really giving me an opportunity to look. And then if I did want to ask about something was I supposed to open the door half naked and ask you to come back in? Felt pretty awkward. I've lost track of how many years I've been seeing Shay, now. I'll occasionally lapse but it's like picking up with an old friend when I see her again. She's good peoples. There's just this vibe about her that makes you feel completely at ease during probably one of the most uncomfortable situations possible. I don't want to say it's painless because, let's be real, there's no such thing as pain free waxing but the red wine and girl talk makes up for what little pain you do feel. She is incredibly thorough and detail oriented and took her time to make sure that the color was even and consistent. Cute place, decent prices, and good service. They always are quick to start appointments, even when I show up early they are happy to start as soon as I'm checked in. And they wax fast. Im in and out in 15 mins. I've had Sally, Kelly, and I forget her name but it might have been Janessa. Sally was really nice and sweet but her wax was painful and I got a lot of ingrown hairs after. I got sugared by janessa and she was nice and she did a good job with minimal (maybe one or two) ingrown hairs. Kelly I have gotten the most waxed by and she always does a good clean job. First time I got waxed by her it was so painless I couldn't believe it so I booked her again. But I noticed each time I go in there, she has been less and less friendly. She was sick last time so I recognize she didn't feel good, but the last one or two times she wasn't as friendly either. It seems like she progressively gets less friendly so I'm not sure if she just doesn't like me as a customer? But she does such a good job that I don't mind her not being chatty so much. Oh yeah, and they give you wine like the other reviewers say. And discount prices if you book within 4 weeks. I have little hair so 4 weeks seem a bit soon for me but great if you need to go a lot. This place is definitely recommended. Also I've been to the Bush location and this one is more spacious and more warmer feeling. read more

ReWaxation is amazing! I spent a few years salon-hopping in SF looking a place that provides a high quality wax job to become my regulars, and from the first time I went to ReWaxation, I was hooked. Have never gone anywhere else since. I've seen Shay and Sally and they are both excellent! Very fast, thorough, hygienic, and take great care of you. Because I work a pretty standard 9-7 M-F week, I LOVE that ReWaxation does morning, evening (until 9pm!) and weekend appointments. So rare and SO helpful. This is by far my favorite place to get sugared and waxed. The staff is really friendly and efficient. Most recently I was waxed by Dani and she was great--I was out in 20 minutes and she made me feel really comfortable. The rooms are noticeably clean and the ingredients of the wax and sugar paste are high quality (only 6 ingredients in the wax and 2 ingredients in the sugar paste!) Also, the vibe of the shop is just cool and empowering. Pay in cash and they'll give you a cute little stamp card to eventually get money off a wax. Highly recommend! read more

Used to go to the Bush St location and it was fine, but this location is way better! Frankly you just can't get this kind of service at this price anywhere else in the city. Plus their hours are great for someone like me who works pretty late and can't get to an appointment during the workday.
