Just had my first appointment at reWAXation and it was fantastic. I waked in to this super cool & unique building and was greeted immediately by their awesome staff. Not to mention once I was checked in I was offered wine as I waited for my appointment to start. reWAXation offers a very down to earth atmosphere paired with friendly and accommodating staff. My first time here was 2 months ago. I came in for my first Brazilian. I had a lot of questions and Hailey at the front desk was so informative and friendly. She offered water and wine and gave me a few tips like taking advil before my wax to help with the pain. Mel was my waxer and I let her know that it was my first time. She was awesome. She made me feel super comfortable considering I was baring my bottom. She did a great job at distracting me from what was coming. I just moved to San Francisco and found rewaxation through yelp. I was very pleased with this place and will definitely go back. It is not always easy to find places that do sugaring, and if you do, they are usually pretty pricey. I refuse to do waxing now that I've experienced sugaring, so I will search everywhere till I find a place. This place has very reasonable prices and tons of appointment times, which also can be pretty rare. I am not new to sugaring and travel every few months for my job, so I've seen very good and very bad. The only thing I would suggest for this place is to have a towel to cover yourself up with, so you just aren't laying out there exposed when the technician comes in. It's not a big deal, but would be nice. I would definitely recommend this place for sugaring and will for sure be back! read more

Be warned--This place has a harsh lateness policy! If you show up more than 5 minutes late, you are charged half of the price of the appointment and they do not accommodate you. They book the appointments in 15 minute intervals so they cannot accommodate you if you are late. I have been twice and the service is fine. As long as you are prompt. read more

Great place, I've had several different people and everyone is cordial and gets the job done fine. If it's your first time, just a heads up that they do not provide a small towel to cover up as they walk in and out of the rooms as they do in most places. As I've said before (and it hasn't changed): I've been blessed with hair and I've been cursed with hair. Some of said hair is unwanted and this is where waxing comes in. It's really annoying when people say that waxing doesn't hurt. Umm, you're pulling your hair out from the root! And when one has a lot of hair, that's a lot of pulling out and guess what, it does hurt! Anyway, for torture in the name of beauty, reWAXation is legit. I've been a few times now and decided it's time for a review. The space is nice and clean. Who doesn't like perusing vaginal art by gay men? Ha ha. (Other reviewers have posted pictures of the book.) There are lots of different staff, so their availability in terms of getting an appointment isn't too difficult, that's always nice. Example, decided to torture myself one day, and had options for the next day! And their hours aren't that limited either, so that gives you even more options. Today I had Sally, she's great. She's waxed me before. I figure if I want the quick appointment, I won't be picky about who gets to pull my hair out. Everyone I've had has been lovely though, no complaints there. They use new sticks each time (good). Gloves when doing most intimate areas (good). And all the hair gets pulled out, as opposed to being cut/broken (painful, but worth it and good). They offer discounts if you are a repeat customer and return within a certain timeframe, apparently they are very strict about the timeframe, so make sure you're keeping track of the days. Also, since they do book lots of appointments and not a whole lot of down time, you need to get there on time. I can't believe I have to say this part, but I saw some people complain about getting there late and not being able to be seen, yeah well... you missed your appointment slot. This was my first time waxing in general today at ReWAXation and I did my research on a few places but I liked the reviews and services I seen on their site. This is hands down the best wax place in the city. I've been many places with many different kinds of wax, and not only does Rewaxation have the most painless wax I've ever experienced, every single waxer I've had here is amazing, fast as heck, super detail oriented, and has many years of experience. Plus they just seem happy to work there, which comes through. I recently switched from wax to sugaring here, which is even quicker and somehow seems to keep things smooth longer and is super gentle on the skin, since mine is sometimes sensitive. Not a lot of places even offer sugaring so I'm really glad they do it!! Not only do I leave hairless, but thanks to their product recommendation, I now have no bumps, which is basically a miracle for me. (PFB! This shiz is a game changer!)
