She listens intently and then her craftsmanship is top notch. I initially made an appointment about a custom dress but ended up getting a Kleinfeld's dress due to personal reasons. Instead of paying New York prices for alteration, I brought my dress to Brittany because there's just something about getting that gut feeling knowing you can trust someone with one of those important life events and one of a kind garments. She ended up doing a French Bustle on my 12-layer dress, adding boning to the top, bringing in the bust, shortening the dress by quite a bit, and switching out the skirts zipper for grommets and ribbon to allow for weight differences if I had any. When I returned for my first fitting, everything was perfect... there was no need for multiple trips, I took my dress home at our 2nd appointment! Talk about efficient and then her flawless work... no one would ever know my dress was altered, it looked like it was made for me specifically. I also had her alter my mother's dress which included shortening and adjusting the top to fit her shoulders better, my mom took her dress home the same day as I did. I can't recommend Brittany enough, seriously, anyone I hear that needs a seamstress especially for weddings, I rave about her customer service and beautiful work. Oh, by the way, her shop is adorable! It's spacious and welcoming, farmhouse chic and she has a bunch of wedding dresses and flower girl dresses available in shop to try on and/or purchase. Actually something I learned about Brittany while working with her is that her passion is taking old/used wedding dresses and making the alterations to create a new dress from it, hence the shops name. :)

She worked with me during a global pandemic to ensure that EVERY detail of my wedding dress was exactly what I was looking for. With as busy as wedding planning gets it was so nice to have this time together. Definitely worth the small reservation fee to have a private appointment and full attention. Morgan was wonderful in selecting dresses that complemented my daughter and suited her style. She had her regular selection of dresses that was wonderful but also an entire line of a new designer she is carrying the next couple months. We will be back for daughter #2 later this year! There is a Reservation Fee of $20, which is understandable, and I assumed that if you were a "no show" you would forfeit your $20.00. There is ABSOLUTELY no where stated on the website that you wouldn't get your deposit back if you l had to cancel the appointment. I canceled almost a month in advance and the will not credit the $20. "Our Wedding Dress Fitting Room Reservation Fee includes a private fitting room for you and your guests. You will be assisted with a personal SSYB customer specialist to ensure your bridal experience is one of the best moments of your special event. $20.00" I get charging a reservation fee to discourage no shows, and keeping the deposit when there is a no-show....but to keep $20 when a whole month notice was given is ridiculous! It literally doesn't make sense and is a very poor business practice. I have 2 daughters and have spent a lot of $$$ dollars through the years at this store with Proms and Homecoming ...They have definitely lost a loyal customer over this. To make money for doing nothing, especially in today's economy is robbery! They obviously have become very conceited and feel that they can rip their customers off without consequence. Good thing there is honest Bridal retail/consignment stores who don't practice questionable undisclosed policies. When I made my appointment to go back, I specifically requested for her because I loved how nice and helpful she was to accommodate me. At my appointment, Adrianna went above and beyond!! She is very passionate about helping brides find their perfect dress. She feels your style and from there knows EXACTLY what to find and even pulls other dresses you're not sure you will like but may like if you try it on. She also knows how to pull certain veils and accessories that will look good paired with dresses. Beyond the selection of dresses the women there helping me were outstanding. Never pushy, pulled a beautiful selection for me to try, that they knew were in my budget and were so accommodating from the second we walked in. Not to mention they remembered exactly who I was each time I called for dress fittings and even called to remind me about when to make fitting appointments.
