Located inside the BQ shopping mall. I discovered this place accidentally while locating for a particular shop. A very cute plant shop. Only one woman working inside the shop. I was looking for a money tree plant. She directed me to them. There were only 2 left. It was rather small. The price was $19.99. Which was pretty steep for such a small plant. I had bought one at Wholefoods at the same price but a lot bigger. I told her that I will be back to buy the plant since I didn't want to carry the plant to another store and it was very hot outside. She said she would hold it for me. It only took me 15 minutes to come back. Once I came back, the woman that worked there said I held it for you. As she handed to me. I was dismayed. The plant had broken leaves, leaves that had been damaged by bugs . I had asked her if I could buy the other plant that was sitting behind the register. She said no. She was holding it for a customer. I said to her that I am here, and Im ready to buy it. She then lies and says a customer had already paid for it. Yet there was no receipt or any indications that it was actually paid for. She asked if I wanted the brokeb plant.. I said will there be any discounts as the plant had lost a lot leaves and is nothing like the other one. She said no, But we have a 20% off sale ... no thanks . Keep it. The woman lied . Why i dont know. Majority of the plants are overpriced. You're better off going to a local nursery. Why support a business with shady practices. read more

This is the cutest plant store! They have so many to choose from, ranging in sizes, types, colors, etc. The staff are SO knowledgeable and nice, and were able to answer all of our questions and give recommendations based on what we thought we wanted. We went to the store back to back weekends and one of the staff members was working both times and he remembered us and asked follow up questions on how things were going with our plant area. The quality of plants is really nice, a little more expensive than a Home Depot selection, but that's to be expected. It's a little hidden in the Ballston mall but it's a hidden gem. read more

As a first time plant parent I decided I wanted to find some experts to guide me on the best plant for me and Rewild delivered! I first came in on a Saturday, and while there was no one there for the first 5 minutes it was highly populated fairly quickly. However the staff person who originally offered her assistance stayed with me for about 30 minutes walking through the store and discussing the pros and cons of each plant and what might work best for me. I eventually landed on a golden pothos and was absolutely in love! I was excited to be a new member of the Rewild family and have a plant that I adored. Fast forward about 5 weeks and my plant seemed to be struggling a bit. While they do say you can email them any questions, I decided to take her back in for assessment. I returned on a Saturday evening closer to close and this time it was just be and another sales associate. She took the time to evaluate my plant and it was determined that it was pretty "root bound" and needed a new/larger pot... so a new pot she received. I also showed the associate photos of my home so she could provide recommendations of the best placement in the room and discuss a care plan moving forward. I really appreciated that one on one time and felt good walking out the door! Now my plant is doing well and seems to be thriving. But my heart is warmed that I can return to Rewild again if I have any issues with my plant and they are there to help! And I'm looking forward to returning to get my plant a new sister or brother! read more

The walls are literally filled with luscious plants of all kind and they even have a succulent bar for DIY terrarium building. The air quality is also *chef's kiss* due to all of the plants oxygenating. Thank you Mother Nature! This is the spot to go to for gifts or even a mini vacay from life's problems. Love love love Rewild! Specifically this location, they have the nicest staff and of course a great variety of plants available. I've come several times with my beginner plant care questions and every time the employees are patient and answer all of them. There's another location in Shaw but I've noticed the Ballston location has the friendliest staff with the best plant advice! I've bought several pots, plants and other accessories as well from here. The employees are so amazing and really want you to enjoy your plant and ensure you take good care of it. I've gotten aloe Vera, calathea, a string of hearts plant and all with pots as well. They always pot my plants for me free of charge too. One time I had gotten a plant and pot from another store and noticed the pot was cracked. I brought it in to see if I could get it repotted and without question they replaced the pot and repotted it for free. These guys are truly amazing and huge lifesavers!! read more

Phenomenal! I can't recommend Rewild's Ballston location enough. I walked in this evening, not knowing anything at all about plants, other than knowing I wanted one. Until today, I had never owned a plant. Tara assisted me with the entire process. We picked out which plants would be best for me and she thoroughly explain how to care for them immediately wondering if I had made the wrong decision, she quickly comforted me, and gave so much assurance! I bought the most massive plant from these guys accidentally and they were so accommodating. The plant was listed on the site but when I got there to pick it up it was found to be on loan elsewhere. They delivered it to my home as soon as they could. They also informed me they do complimentary repotting-- say less. I was also able to take a dried flower arrangement class with the owner which was less a class and more of a peaceful social hour that I very much enjoyed! I love rewild a selection of harder to find plants. Their prices are a bit higher but I would expect they given the location! read more

Such an inviting entrance and space! I contacted ReWild due to my 3 year old monstera growing awkwardly and without a moss pole! After moving up here from Virginia Beach I didn't know where to go for plant help with my large plant collection. Rewild informed me that they make moss poles for order. I brought my monstera in with my own pot and they repotted it for free! I was nervous to have the leaves moved around, but they handled my plant with great care! In addition, I've spoken to them on the phone numerous times due to my list of questions and they were always more than happy to help me. I've emailed them and they respond within the next 1-2 days. I wanted to get a plant for my apartment and heard this place opened recently so I went to go check it out. There are TONS of plants of all sizes for all levels of light and caretaking experience. The employees helped me pick out the perfect plant for my spot and my plant ownership level (non-existent). They also re-plant it for free if you buy a pot with it which was awesome so I didn't have to go out and buy potting soil or anything else. Whenever I'm in the area I always have to stop into Rewild in Ballston. Situated on the ground floor near South Block and Punch Bowl, this store welcomes you in with lush greenery. It's hard to not leave with a plant, but there's no pressure to buy if you just want to window shop. The staff is very knowledgeable and happy to answer whatever questions you have. You also get a card with care instructions with your purchase. I recently made some errors in my cactus plant care, which ended up with a sick plant. The email support team was so helpful and assured me that I could just go into the store to get it repotted for free; no appointment needed. Danielle helped me in store and removed the sick part of my plant, all the root rot, and then repotted the healthy part of my plant, all while giving me tips on how to take better care of my cactus. I love that not only do you get a plant, but you get great support even after purchase. They can be a little pricier than big box stores, but I love the extra care and expertise that you get at Rewild. read more

I've purchased four plants from them and all have been healthy and immaculately raised. 10/5 Wish there were more stars here so I could give them a rating of better than great. Today, I accidently overwatered one of my plants terribly to the point I was wondering if it was salvageable. I had to throw out all the dirt and triage the plant. I went to the store to get some soil, and mentioned my predicament. They told me to just bring my plant and my pot in and they would take a look ,so I did. Neither the plant nor the pot came from this store but they repotted my plant with the proper soil and gave me a saucer so my plant could drain and asked nothing for it. The employees were incredibly helpful and nice, they gave me lots of good tips on plant care when I mentioned all the plants I had. They were incredibly knowledgeable. I have purchased plants from them before and they gave me amazing care instructions that haven't let me down yet. I love this store, and plan to return soon. read more
